Just wondering.

Looks like dis sade has an ulterior motive.

The beginning of the story showed us a sade dat didn't stand for petty talk and always leaves at the slightest nonsense.

Now, we are seeing an entirely different person. i thought she would have walked Ben out immediately. But dat's not the case.

I'm thinking dat with Agada's warning to Ben to keep off coupled with Sade's sudden change of character to beg Ben to stay, instead of getting angry as she was wont to do before they consumatted dia relationship, Ben will come to great harm and misfortune.

My 3 cents though.

Funny enough, it looks like all this signal reduction/fluctuation stuff is only affecting the northern and southern part of nigeria.

Haven,t seen anyone here in the east complaining of these phenomenom.

(could it be a kind of satellite beam outage as a result of hazy/dusty weather. grin

n9jaboy: @Olenyi, The 4940 software i downloaded from that site is still same with the one that ungraded via OTA/strong website. Below are screen shot of how i went about it. Thanks

Press the menu button and select installation.
Check to see if their is an ''option'' sub menu under the installations option.

2) or u could try upgrading ur receiver to the new match and see what happens.

3) or it might be a localised problem around ur area.

I'm beginning to think the astra 2f satellite transponder is not performing optimally. Thus the discrepancies in signal reception in different areas.

Just as i said, u haven't being following in here. Forget what the so called engineer told u, u can still watch mytv.

Now dis is wat u do.

First, remove ur diseqc switch and run the wire direct from dish to receiver.

press menu button, press ok. Enter 4 zero's if pin is requested. Go down to manaul scan and select.

Press the red recall button on ur remote and look for astra 1N/2abd. Select it and go down to frequency

Now look for 12523 19531 V. If u cant find it, press zero and select add. Enter the values at neccessary places. It should be grenn now. If not, change the ''v'' to ''h''. If it has turned to green, den let me know. If not, let me know. Do this first stage and come back for more.

Ur setup is to be blamed.

U cant be getting astra 4a (12015) and expect to have mbc 3. Except ur are very good.

So the solution is to either face ur dish to mbc or astra/sirius 4. One has to go.

You see i am having the same problem up here too,
i just don't want to ask any question concerning this, waiting to see
solution provided for those that have complained earlier.
What i notice was for the past 1wk now my Multi tv just come and go
and i ve made a lot of troubleshoot but to no avail.

I've taken my dish off astra 2f. So i can only offer this suggestions.

1) Maybe its a little teething problem from the new satellite, astra 2f.

2) or u could try upgrading ur receiver to the new match and see what happens.

3) or it might be a localised problem around ur area.

Will try out the bird today, if free, and see what exactly is happening.

Ps** hope these signal fluctuations are not being orchestrated by D**V, in a bid to pull back dia customers. grin
