Oliran:So I did my PCV yesterday and it has gone up to 34. Another thing I did while using Ewe Eje is taking Tot'Hema, it was prescribed by my doctor 2 weeks ago, I used it morning and night, though I didn't use it religiously as the drug was somehow scarce. Cc Nzlove, wassup with you ma'am, have you checked again? |
clems88:September is almost here, may Almighty God make it easy for us all. |
34weeks and one day, Alhamdulillah. The way I feel these days, I have decided to stop going to site at work, I went yesterday and was so exhausted. I feel some tingling in my vagina when I pee, like a short sharp sting inside I don't know how best to describe it.Still got 6weeks to EDD, may Allah make it easy for us all. Team September how are we doing? My hospital bag is ready, except some few items for myself. Some of us are in week 35 and 36 already. Let's pop in and check on one another, we are almost there. |
fragrant, you are welcome to Team September ma'am. Please provide the gender if known. Team September hope we are getting ready!!!!!! We are almost there, I am so excited. Let's try and get our hospital bags ready. I'd advise we do the cleaning, washing and setting up before the end of the month. The way I walk these days ehn, the heaviness on the pelvic isn't easy. The scan I did last week showed baby is in cephalic position already, I guess that's the reason for the heaviness. Let's not forget to start cleaning our nipples in preparation for breastfeeding, the matron at our antenatal today said it's better to rub the nipples and areola with coconut oil or Olive oil at night, rub generously. Then clean with cotton wool and warm water in the morning. First Roll call for the month of August!!! gratefulme40:We are getting ready oo. |
fragrant:Sorry ma'am, I'll add you now. |
Nyxx123:I don't know the reason why, but I read that the leaf can be chew for other medical reasons. |
clems88:Soft like it's succulent? I don't think that should be an issue. I'm assuming milk is gathering up already. But if it's really getting her worried, she should complain to the doctor. |
Nzlove:Yes, that's the leaf. I boiled mine till the water turned red, I didn't time it. Any milk is fine, I drink it hot, warm and cold. I've drank it like 4 times today. NB: My mum said it is to taken with milk always. |
Nzlove:Sorry ma'am, I did my PCV 2 days ago and it was 26.6. I remember having low PCV during my first too, I was with my mum then, so she got someone to help her pluck one leave, I don't know the English name but it's called Ewe Eje in Yoruba which means blood leaf literally, she cooked with water and it was so red, I added milk whenever I want to drink it, it turns purple after adding milk. She also prepared one vegetable then, it's called "efo Igbo" I don't know the English name too. So I got someone to help me get the Ewe Eje and I prepared it yesterday. I heard water leaf is very good too, I cooked water leaf with enough offals with plenty liver( it's very good too) You can try and get them if it's available around you, let's do that religiously for a week and see. |
Nzlove:Sorry mama, is the depression due your low pcv? If yes, what's your PCV? If No but something personal, try and find someone to pour out your heart to, talking about it makes one feel relieved. May Almighty God make it easy for us all. |
