Do you have the screen frame itself for Hp Envy 6-1015TX, my screen is working perfect, it's the hinge that's broken

There must be a reason why they'll have alcohol in their system 3hrs before a flight, it's really really rare. |

mosquitoway: Lol a plane is cheaper to operate, small cessnas are used for sight seeing so it doesnt get too expensive, and i am a fixed wing pilot,i would not be self sponsoring anything in aviation again. yes but with a Helicopter you can land almost anywhere and fly around really slowly so the passengers can actually "see the sights" |

Moskolino: Good afternoon everyone. Looking for an aviation school to learn to become a Pilot ,Aeronautical engineer? Check out KEILIR AVIATION ACADEMY , located in ICELAND. I'm a Nigerian and I'll be travelling this August to study. It's really an amazing school. Course duration (2years) 2 years to become a pilot? That's too long even if you're doing EASA |

Boeing777pilot: I was thinking about it would be nice if olisa4all, mosquitoway and my humble self do a post " A day in the life of a pilot" to give you all a first hand insight into how our typical flying day looks like and tell you somethings you probably never knew about.
But that would be when we have our own aviation section.
There is some much to tell you about us and one of my favorite part is our relationship with our ATC guys and our captains. Cool, The ATC bit will be the funny part....lol |

balash: Now let's quickly get a divert mindsets from piloting to flight dispatch, I got my i-20 from IFOD in Dallas and after getting my visa would pay my fees for training/course in Flight Dispatch, from reviews they might easily get me a job afterwards. Now this is my question, would u advise if I can find my way to stay in the U.S and work with my license when am through or come back home to Nigeria and work as well, which would you do? And afterwards do I need to do anymore exam or clearance to work in Nigerian airports as well? I would love to work in Nigeria though but I want a very lucrative airline that can support sponsoring me going for piloting training.. what do you suggest? Bros, you said we should divert from piloting to flight and then you went piloting again, lol I dont know much about flight dispatch...As for "a very lucrative airline" that can sponsor, I dont think we have those anymore in Nigeria considering the current economic situation we find ourselves in |

Moukafoam: This is why I don't like aviation
Any mistake is deadly Not necessarily, besides pilots are trained to not make mistakes and even if mistakes are made, redundancies exist to curtail them |

Olisa4all: I support the need for an Aviation Section and not a subsection, aviation is very very vast and I know quite a number of Pilots (Fixed Wing and Helicopter) , Flight Attendants, Engineers, Dispatchers, Air Traffic Controllers and aviation enthusiasts who use nairaland both nationally and internationally, it's a pain really to have to sieve through various threads to look for aviation related topics. |

mosquitoway: To my aviators in the house from Nigeria, i am just wondering what the fixed wing sector is like in Nigeria, are there single engine commercial operations in Nigeria at the moment? My dream would have been to buy a cessna and do sight seeing tours in nigeria. The airline operation gets a little monotonous after sometime flying the same routes etc,and in canada icing and deicing operations, and flying north can make one weary..lol Don't you think Sight Seeing Tours will be better in a Helicopter, lol. |

when we have our own section, we should create a thread on our experiences with ATC. Sometimes you can live with them but you can't live without them. U got that right, especially for Instruments. |

Moukafoam: Where can I fit in please
I don't even know what to ask Not everyone has to be a pilot, one of the aviation professionals I respect the most is ATC(Air Traffic Control) those guys&girls are on a different level, without them, there'll be incidents every second! They literally tell Pilots what to do During my training, there were some airports student pilots dreaded flying solo to cos of how harsh ATC at those airports can be and there were airports we loved going to cos ATC is always nice |

cc lalasticlala May The Good Lord Bless you as you continue to do this. The Nigerian Aviation Industry has alot of untapped potential, who knows, an Aviation Section in Nigeria's Premier forum might be the one to propel it's development |

DisGuy: The mods dont/cant create a new section, the Admin/owner can...
plus there's a career section,
I had a feeling from the start there would be more questions on how to become a pilot/getting scholarship than any in-depth discussions about aviation It doesn't mean you can't help us by talking to seun on the need for an Aviation Section, there's the Autos section and also a Car Talk section, there are tons of aviation professionals out there you know, if this thread or the thread about creating an Aviation Section hits the FP you'll see what we're talking about |

Not possible for a plane to do 0knots or just above on an approach, it's actually moving faster than your 2014 Honda Accord V6 ever will while driving in Lagos. |
