But dis our nation that regularly sacrifices merit on the altar of mediocrity in the name of catchment area wants to compel Nigerians into believing that when the end justifies the means it is a good thing. Nothing could be farther from the truth! A good name is better than money anytime, any day, anywhere, except in Nigeria thanks to our political structure of electoral violence! If we must have a better tomorrow in this country, it is people like this that should be celebrated. And not one clown that managed to rig his way into power expecting to be congratulated for it!

I’m more concerned with how easy it is to proliferate fake news in the politics section. Of course INEC are the only ones to say who has won what, but I was only speaking up so the relevant mods can be a lot more proactive in combating fake news and their purveyors.
