Politics › Re: Amnesty Shortlists CNN Investigation On Lekki Tollgate Shooting For Media Award by olisaEze(m): 7:10pm On Mar 17, 2021
They deserve the award and more.

As a Nigerian, I don’t think I have ever seen a report so professionally done.

Even traced expended bullet casings from manufacturing date and factory to the Nigerian army, including the name of company and contractor that did the supplies and date.

Our "biggest network in Africa" NTA meanwhile is still not aware of a protest, but somehow will still give themselves an award at the end of the year. grin

Christianity Etc › Re: How Prophet Daniel Abodunrin Was Killed By Lions At U.I. Zoo In 1991 In Ibadan by olisaEze(m):
Faith, presumption or foolishness. When your religion is borrowed, it’s so difficult to tell when you have crossed lines from one to the other.

Faith - I believe in God.

Presumption - God ignores everyone’s prayers except Church goers.

Foolishness - Since Jesus walked on water, I will cross the lagoon on foot because I believe.

Politics › Re: Owning A Legal Firearm In Nigeria: My Experience by olisaEze(m): 7:41pm On Mar 16, 2021
Extremefiles:
Getting my license was the easiest part. Please do not be confused with my first sentence. When I say easiest part I meant it was easier than getting the firearm itself. Took me several months to actually get proper documentation. After getting my license I realized there was virtually no shop you could just walk into with your license to purchase a gun. After months of inquiries, and countless offer of old rusted relics I was able to purchase a banelli m4 through a link from one of the police stations in Abuja.

The whole process took almost 10 months. This was a few years ago. I don't know how hard/possible it is to get a licence now. Guns yes i know because still use the link for maintenance. Due to not having no option in terms of repairs and servicing. Gun ownership and maintenance is a bit on the high side.

Other licensed gun owners what's your experience
The Banelli M4 is a nice semiautomatic shotgun, how much did you purchase yours?

I could be wrong but it looks like a case of a yahoo boy who married an olosho.

Both lives wasted.
If u could be wrong, then u shouldn’t even be suggesting it in the first place. People like you are the reason why irresponsible police officers wrongly profile and kill young Nigerian men.
Business › Re: Shoprite Concludes Sale Of Its Equity Stake (100%) In Its Nigeria Subsidiary by olisaEze(m):
It is never a good omen when foreign investors start leaving ur country in droves.

The rate at which the government slams exorbitant fines on foreign companies just to raise funds to loot is one. Not to mention money set aside for bribes.
Power, water is a drain on their resources as they are being taxed for services they provide for themselves.

We are used to all this already, but where they’re coming from there’s accountability for & visibility of the things their taxes are doing for them.

Finally the mother of them all, a looming civil war because of loose statements on both sides of a clearly divided country coupled with the lackadaisical attitude of the President to the excesses of his kinsmen and those of the same faith with him.

Except ure a gunrunner, no foreigner with brain in his head expects to do business for long in such a country.

Politics › Re: PETER OBI BOMBSHELL: Criminality Has Become The Only Productive Sector In Nigeri by olisaEze(m):
What’s the bombshell there? Everyone in the world knows what Nigeria is experiencing is failure in leadership succession.

The people are willing accomplices, happily led along every four years on chains of religious and tribal sentiments.

They might complain in between, but come the next four years they’ll happily put on the chains by themselves again. undecided

Crime › Re: Barber In Oyo Rapes 8-Year-Old Girl Inside Her Mother's Shop (Photo) by olisaEze(m): 1:57pm On Mar 12, 2021
The number of sleazy porn disguised as commercials, musicals & entertainment bombarding this coming generation is the reason for this kind of news.

It’s so easy for their opinions and decisions to be shaped the wrong way with as little as an unsupervised Android phone and cheap data.

Education in Nigeria really needs to go beyond plus & minus to character building since there’s no hope for the elders.

ddippset:
In 2015, Wike rode on the Jonathan sentiment and with the help of Patience Jonathan he became governor.

PDP is hugely popular in the South South and that is Wike's advantage.

Otherwise Wike is not half the man Amaechi is. He doesn't command the same level of loyalty and respect.

Yet he keeps boasting about defeating Amaechi.

Has he ever thought about what would be if he swithces to APC while Amaechi switches to PDP?

Will he win any election in the South South?
You don’t know nothing Jon Snow. grin

Politics › Re: Ibori's Loot Will Fund 2nd Niger Bridge, Lagos–Ibadan, Abuja–Kano Expressways by olisaEze(m): 9:03am On Mar 11, 2021
For those blabbing that Delta State once claimed not to be missing any money under the administration of Dr. Uduaghan and therefore have no rights to the returned loot, I have one question; Didn't your darling daddy say the same about Abacha while re-looting the returned loot?

This administration is just all about injustice and nepotism.

Whatever they are doing now against the South, I assure you will be done to the North twice over after 2023.

Oga Jihadi, no one misunderstood you ra ra.

Your divisive utterances have been duly noted in history.

Leave the press out of it, they were not the ones that funded your reunion with bandits in the first place.

One can only imagine the kind of suicidal orders dis wan would have been issuing to non-Muslim soldiers as a personal contribution to the North’s misguided jihad while in the service.
