The outgoing President is a Fulani, while the President-elect is from the minority Diffa-Arab.

Buhari won’t like this at all. grin

Expect an increase in terror attacks by Boko haram and other Islamic fundamentalists in that country. God save the innocents.

Do you think the problem of our declining standards in education in the country is a piece of headgear?

The places were hijab is a standard mode of dressing, what is the quality of their results in WASSCE?

If the House accedes to this, then the terrorism of the North has once again conquered the constitution. And the country has gone one step backwards to Islamization!

Naturally people learn on the job.

However not when those with better credentials are jobless because they don’t have connections.

Now I hope Nigerian youths can see why our judicial system is rife with conflicting judgements and verdicts. undecided

For all those that have started making excuses for another criminal in disguise, ona no dey ever get sense? This is exactly how buhari was marketed till he got into power and denied making every promise that was attributed to him.

You don’t fight terrorism by employing more canon fodder.

Invest massively in education and offer incentives for family planning especially in the North while improving the standard in the South.

Population control is not impossible in the North if China could achieve it.

The only candidate so far that has never made a gaffe or suggested dumb measures to move the country forward has always been Peter Obi.

Even if he can never be given a chance by The Godfathers of Nigerian politics, the youths can retire those godfathers permanently by adopting him in a new party and voting him in.

We make up 65% of d population and want a Nigeria were citizens have the same confidence the Americans have in their system.

The choice before u is simple. A new school of reasoning or the old guards that just want to protect their loot for their children to use and lord over the rest!

Education › Re: Kinds Of People You Will Encounter In The University by olisaEze(m):
Except u went to a private university, u must meet...

...the NFAs (No Future Ambition). These ones have spent a minimum of 5 - 12 years in school. Dem don play cultism sotay even their cult tire for dem. The whole school dey always celebrate their graduation when Senate finally graduates dem. grin

What of 'the Eficos'? The Aunty Sabina & Mr Sabinus of every department. They’re front benchers, always in class before anyone else. Asking questions way dey even tire lecturers. They sabi keep grudge for boys wen girls like.

Then the Holy Holies: These ones are divided into 2 groups.

A - The Catholic girls. Very clean and innocent looking with their tight blouses & skirts that have been measured with a ruler never to go above the knees. Their second name na coded runs. Nwanne they’re true adventurers if u can get dem alone in a room. My first anal was with one of dem by mistake. E shock me wen I discover say dt road had already been dualized! grin

B - The Pentecostals; S.U, BLW, EFAC all fall under this category. These ones will hear gunshots and lapse into rapid speaking of tongues instead of ducking (awon I know who I am pipo). Walking around school with jerrycoiled hair like low budget versions of their pastors, ever ready to deliver wiseass mini sermons. Dem come school come serve God, so school work is secondary. Student pastors don finally turn dem to minions.

Then a new group don burst out; the yahoo yahoo boys. They only come to class to show off their cars and catch new girls. All their colored hair standing like burnt sugar cane stalks, dressed in shouting colors. They no dey ever get extra year even though their attendance is only constant during exams.

Feel free to add yours. grin grin

Probably roll out first in Lagos, and Abuja much later as they realize that pork is haram for Muslims.

Nigerians go rush am first just to feel superior then cool off when they realize that bread and chips na snacks for us, not a meal.

Nothing beats our homegrown burger A&B (Akara & Bread), neither can French fries hold ur strength like Kosh&Dosh (Kosé & Doya - Akara & Fried yam).

But they’re welcome all the same. grin grin
Politics › Re: Malaysian Firm Battles FG Over Multi Billion Naira Passport Printing Contract by olisaEze(m):
Here’s my take on this, and I would like young Nigerians to bear in mind that not everything is black n white. There are grey areas to this.

ISTL was registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission on 20th May 2003 to help the country produce the e-passport.

With Obasanjo’s influence, the company entered into a Public Private Partnership, PPP, with the Federal Government for the upgrading of Nigerian passport to e-passport.

The partnership ensured that the company designed, installed, operated and maintained the complete database system at its own expense and recouped the cost of investment as well as make a profit through the issuance of the passport.

The NIS on the other hand would provide the officials to register applicants, issue passports and deal with Nigerians on all issues relating to the passport.

Obj signed it, Yar'Adua administration implemented.

Now here’s were the Nigerian corruption factor came in. The first contract with ISTL did not include the printing of the passport booklets. The initial contract was for MINT (Nigeria Security Printing & Minting PLC) to produce the passport booklet while ISTL would provide the technical security component consisting of the chip and laminated data page.

However, through maneuverings by ISTL and government officials, they signed a second contract with the FG to supply the entire passport, including the booklet, taking away the job from MINT!

Now the Federal Executive Council extended the ISTL contract for another 4 years in May 2015. There are two of these e-passports BTW, one is a 32 page booklet and the other (which we no dey ever see) a 64page booklet.

Moreover, the contract has had its time elapsed without the job being fulfilled (it was supposed to be 100k passports supplied every month for 3years). Instead immediately ISTL was awarded the job, it’s parent company in Malaysia increased the cost of supply which the govt refused to accept.

The idea was a laudable one, but each successive administration has had questionable characters as Ministers of Interior since then.

There are many reasons for this government to have terminated the initial contract without fear of legal proceedings against it, so Nigerians should ask the current Min. Of Interior Aregbesola what is going on.

Romance › Re: Married Ex Wants Me To Manage Her New Business by olisaEze(m):
Sounds like there’s a wee bit unfinished business between the two of you. However, it all depends on how well u know her.

If the terms of engagement are that rewarding, then you better keep things strictly professional out of respect for a fellow man that is doling out the cash.

She probably is fond of you, which doesn’t necessarily mean she wants cheat on her husband.

But nna eh, most women that have cheated on their partners did not set out to cheat initially (keyword here is women not little girls that were raised on IG/TikTok).

Some will put demselves in a vulnerable position intentionally, expecting the man to save dem from demselves while trusting that he’ll be as vulnerable as they are and do the deed. Very confusing mindset they all have! undecided

If u feel u can keep things strictly professional then go ahead. Everyone needs all the extra income they can get in this economy.

But if ur flesh is as weak as u believe then u either follow d bible and flee temptation, or go straight in with your eyes wide shut. Abuja is a city were women have made and also broken many men.

Draslo, all die na d same die! grin

Funny how they can’t seem to locate bandits that entertain celebrity visitors in the North, but are ready to turn the SE to a killing field.

The same ESN that was reported to be confronting & killing soldiers in the open with just machetes are the same ones that were killed in the night, and in their camp without the army suffering any casualties.

Hmm...this one you came back from retirement to post dis story....Lauretta be calming dan o. grin grin grin

Politics › Re: David Mark Condemns Attack On Ortom, Warns Of Impending Anarchy by olisaEze(m):
Five things led to the 1st world war, and they can be summed up with the acronym M.A.N.I.A.

Militarism
Alliances
Nationalism
Imperialism
Assassination.

This govt has allowed the situation with the Fulani killers deteriorate through the first four.

The North militarized themselves after aligning with the SW for the 2015 elections, but GEJ averted doom by conceding defeat.

Still not satisfied with that victory, the presidency arrogantly began throwing their weight around to the ovation of the SW with nepotistic appointments & pointless intimidation of perceived opponents (Nationalism of the core Northern elite).

By the time the SW realized they were as inconsequential as a third wheel in a bicycle, the Imperialism of the North over them and the rest of the country presented itself with the embarrassment of the VP via the NEMA scandal.

If they had succeeded in assassinating Ortom, a section of this country would have taken it upon themselves to remove the president by all means (War)

This is what our stupid rubber stamp lawmakers and sycophants don’t realize because of the egunje in front of their myopic minds.

If our lawmakers cannot define who exactly is a Nigerian now, we will end up like Sudan overrun by jjanjaweed Fulani under this misguided presidency!
