Well, I don't know. Samsung releases goodlock and takes some of its features for the next iteration of their UI. Expect some of this in Android P on S10. There are some features found on the previous version which makes good sense. Hope they will bring it back.

Google.pixel 2 is controlled by Google and they give u features they want u to use, and lock out other features they think are not ready, so if u want those features u have to root it and install a custom rom.

Custom roms are controlled by developers like u and me, they take the os from.google and customize it adding features that google did not add. The update u are shouting about are not directly from.google but are pushed out by developers. So for.ur mind now u think what u find on Google pixel is the same thing u find on custom roms? OMG this guy u won't kill person. U really need to Google the word 'custom'
