If they had wanted to make this a regional thing, they wouldn't have let two housemates from Imo state win it back to back. Nigerian housemates wouldn't have won BBA 3 times in a row. I doubt if anybody can control viewers' choice, not even the organizers. The reason they're refusing to show the top of the polls is so indecisive voters won't flock to the strongest contender and I think that's a brilliant idea. Social media hype is NOT equal to votes, so the eventual winner might not be the person everybody is hyping.

Also note that the character that the audience found appealing the previous year might be what they find annoying the next year. The bitchy attitude that took Tacha very far in the game drove Ka3na out on her first nomination. The poverty stories that won Efe the prize drove Ricco Swavey out on his first nomination. I doubt if the organizers can do so much to influence viewers' choice.

It's the pity card that got people supporting him initially but then people found out he was intelligent and used it as an excuse to keep supporting him. When i said 'pity card', i didn't mean poverty. You can pity people for different things. Laycon started getting support after he was trolled online on the way he looked not because of poverty.

According to him, once you realize that you are one of the bottom 4 and put back in the house by your housemates, you have to make the best of that opportunity and live the good life. From what Nengi said, I'm sure Lucy just told her what was in other people's mind but they couldn't say it to her.

I believe From the housemates POV, Nengi was "hoarding" guys. She had Ozo and Prince hovering over her and she was still doing stuff around Kidd. Those are 3 eligible bachelors oh .
Some other girls were dying for Prince, but it seemed like Nengi was holding him back. The housemates feel like Dora likes Ozo, but Nengi was holding him back. Erica and Kidd were getting closer, but it seemed like Nengi wanted to hold him back.

This is the reason why a self-proclaimed flirt like Kidd said she is his female version in the house and was giving her flirting tips.

So Madam Lucy as the elder that she is decided to talk to her about her. I doubt Lucy is looking for any relationship in this house, she just took people's wahala on her head.
