All the aspirants and parties already have the results because by now, all their polling agents would have submitted the verified results by INEC from each polling units to them. The election has been won and loss. All that remains is the normal shenanigans. |
The fifa world cup Nike jersey and kit for Nigeria is a master piece. However, am worried about the black colour included in it. Our national colour remains green-white-green. I hope Matthew can explain the black colour on the kit. |
It is rather sad that Eko Boys' High School that is among the first 20 secondary school in Nigeria, founded by Reverend Euba can be involved in arms and ammunition. It has boasted of several old boys that has contributed to the development of this country including judges, administrators, artist etc. It was a missionary school taken over by the government. As a private missionary school, it draws studentship from all over the country and West Africa. However, since it was converted to a public school its catchment area was reduced to its locality in Mushin which is a Lagos suburb and slum, this is why this kind of news can now be link to this great institution. I weep for the efforts of our school founders. ''In Domino Confidimus'' (In God we trust). The motto of our great school. |

[quote author=Neyoor post=67546965]Shittu is just a lousy old man. Ajimobi owns and controls APC in Oyo state. The Unity team are just wasting their time. That Lam's son is still very young for what he is pulling. He needs to queue behind Ajimobi if he want to be relevant in Oyo [Lam son is about to kill his political career by following a track his father never passed through his political journey. ] |
doctokwus:Dangote produce cement locally and it's still expensive than imported ones. Nigerian investors are greedy. Lets shine our eyes . |
The corruption in our country can only be cure by going back to our nursery and primary school to breed them under a new template that will format them as new breed. As for those above 12 years old, I doubt if anyone can reform them. The antivirus package that is required to clean them up has not be written. |

Is Osinbajo save among these people ![]() The Lord is with you Prof and the power of the most high shall overshadow you. President Buhari will come back in good health and peace will reign in our nation. |
Isaac Fayose is just saying the plain truth. I have worked round the country for over 25 years and retired to Ibadan being our capital city as a Yoruba person. Am presently running an event business here and I can confirm to you that the economy here is sick. One would have expect Ibadan to reap from the largess in Lagos due to proximity just like Mowe, Otto and Agbara in Ogun state but our dear governor is not collaborating with his Lagos counterpart. No wonder, Ambode went far north to Kebbi state to acquire farmlands to cultivate rice to feed Lagosians. Meanwhile, Oyo state is blessed with one of the best agrarian hectares of land in this country. Well, it's not too late for Ajimobi to come down from his high horses and attract industrialist from nearby Lagos to Ibadan. This is the only way the city can become financially liquid again and money will move round as a tonic to wake up all the dying businesses in the city. God bless Ibadan, God bless Oyo state, God bless Ajimobi. |
There is not tribalism about what Pa Edwin Clark is saying about restructuring and Obasanjo. Am a Yoruba man and I support the elder statesman Clark on this issue. Nigeria will have been very great today base on the regional and parliamentary system we were running both before and after independence if not for military intervention by the likes of Obasanjo. Remember Nzeogwu is his friend and he eulogized him in the book he wrote on him. Very unfortunate!!! |
If Dino represents the Nigerian youth, then the future is a bleak one. It is very disheartening to heat what id spewing from the mind and mouth of the senate president and his deputy on Dino recall. These two has now grown so big in their minds that they challenge the country President and the acting President, they don't even respect the people power to recall them again. It is high time these vagabond in power are shown the way out. All these are happening because of the current ill-health of Muhammodu Buhari. (Just because the Cat is on a journey, the rats have taken over the house). The days of Dino and his likes are numbered in our polity. |
This Badoo thing is becoming mysterious. While will an adult go out to kill a whole family of father, mother and children at night with a grinding stone only to wipe their blood with an handkerchief and sell the tissue of cloth for 500,000 naira to money ritualist, only to go back and do another operation. Why not do let the juju people do the rituals for them and be rich once and for all, without going through this risk of killing people everyday and get lynch when caught by angry mob? |
I don't blame Saraki or his ilk's. These faults is because of our weak institutions created by previous weak governments. Until this country is restructured and every region has his own constitution tailored inline with his own culture and traditions, it will be difficult to achieve our goals. We need go back to back to true federalism and jettison this bourgeois "American democracy" we are practising. We will be better with the British Parliamentary system, which is very simple and inexpensive. That is a system that has more power in the regions. You can see that most of their MPs lives very simple life, you pump into them on the trains and public bus. No constituency projects or bogus salaries. The current political system we operate will always throws up so many Sarakis, Fayoses and Amechis. Please don't blame them, blame yourself for being docile and fearful to fight for yourself and generations to come. |
The Lord healeth thee, President Buhari. It is well with you and Nigeria. We shall overcome. Amen. |
omofunaab:I noticed that Evans only recruit people from his region into his gangster team. Also, most of his victims are also from his regional part of the country. What a coincidence!!! |

So many issues awaiting revelation of truth in Nigeria: 1. The death of Awolowo. 2. The death of Abacha 3. The death of Abiola/Kudirat 4. The capture of Chibok girls 5. When did Yar'adua actually die 6. Current health status of Buhari 7. Third term intension of Obasanjo 8. How Patience Jonathan made billions of naira 9. How Dangote was able to manipulate those in charge of our country economic policy to become the richest Blackman on earth. 10. The real motive of truncating our first republic by Nzeogu in 1966 that has really cause big development problems for the Ibos and the entire nation. Everything that is hidden shall come to light in the fullness of time!!! God bless Nigeria, our motherland. |
Awon Apoda, Dear comrades, I salute your courage and stand by you in rejecting this inhuman oppression from Berger paint management. I only hope it's not too late considering that gratuity was stopped in 2015 and you are just protesting in 2017. I also hope your union executives will not sell out because this is the normal practice by HR directors in Nigeria, they sort out the unionists and the masses suffer. I also hope the management has not arm-twist you guys to sign a new condition of service that has neutralize the initial one that has gratuity as part of your compensation package. Wishing you the best. |
deomelo:Deomelo, you are the one writing hate speeches here. We are only trying to analyze an executive governor travelling for more than an hour to commission a milk collection centre and his Ogun state counterpart going to commission a one room manufacturing unit in Procter & Gamble plant in Agbara. As a citizen we expect bigger things from these governors considering the resources at their disposal. Don't forget the same P&G just shut down its factory in Ibadan last year June and relocated to Agbara, Ogun state just because of bad road in Oluyole industrial estate. That's a big loss for Ajimbobi considering the fact that the company paid the highest salary per staff in Oyo state. |
I support the Arewa guys, Ibos should leave the north and go back home after all, this is what they have been clamoring for since 1967. Its now given to them free without any bloodshed. In fact am expecting the Oduduwas to also issue them a quit notice from the south west. Lets see who will blink first or need each other more, either the traders, the agriculturalist or the manufacturers. |
Transfer aggression. Better set your priorities wright next time. As an Entertainer you still need the people both the one you follow and those that followed you. Without them you on ground zero. Wake up guy Dammy and face the reality of your carrier, once again its about those you follow and those that followed you even if you sing thrash. |
Oladipo1166:The governor of the pace setter state and a former MD of an oil company travelling all the way from Ibadan to Saki to commission a warehouse for milk. What has governance turn to in our Nation? Is there a Bale or local government chairman in Saki? |
OP, please this news is not explanatory. Is this a milk collection centre where WAMPCO gives milk to the locals or WAMPCO is collecting raw milk from the community for further processing in their company. If the latter is the case we expect to see pictures of the cows or other animals that are milked, all we are seeing in the picture here are dry bags. What is happening? |
The Ibos brought all these mess on themselves because they thought they have the monopoly of threatening for secession while enjoying the benefits of trading in other people land. Now that they are asked to leave and go back to their house, they are panicking. What do they really want? They know they can't survive alone, no wonder they want to forcefully harness the Niger Delta, Kogi and Benue state to join them. Always trying to rip from other peoples land. As far as the rest of Nigerians are concerned, Biafra is comprise of only the 5 Ibo states of the south east. Chikena.. |
dealslip:What concerns the Yoruba's with all these? |
These South eastern governors like to make Shakara. Do they think anyone will miss the Biafrans in the north. It will only create an opportunity for the young Arewa boys to take over buying and selling activities in their region and say bye-bye to fake goods and drugs. The Ibos has a lot to loose from a fragmented Nigeria than any other region because they have most of their investment outside their region, they are mainly traders and their red soil is hardly good for agriculture. Come to think of it, how many Hausa-Fulani has a house or substantial properties in Ibo land compare to all their assets in the Sabongaris in the north. Please, my brothers, wake up and be wise. God bless Nigeria, our dear mother land. |
