We Care Trust Foundation has continued to support and enhance the welfare of orphanages in Edo State. Courage orphanage, Ihumudumu Ekpoma, Catholic Adoration of the Holy Spirit Orphanage, Mary Land orphanage Egoro-Amede and Holy family orphanage in Edo state were not left out as Her Excellency, Mrs. Iara Oshiomhole and her Team who were received by the principals and children of these orphanage showered gift items and also promised of rehabilitating them with bed facilities and more food items.

Former Super Eagles Captain, Austin ‘Jay Jay’ Okocha believes the biggest gain of representing the Country is that it serves as a springboard to fame and not riches.

The former Midfielder, who enjoyed a career span of over a decade with the Super Eagles, captained Nigeria to several Afcon tournaments and the World Cup in 2002. However though, Jay Jay insists the economic and financial gains came with his move to Germany where he launched his professional club career in Europe.

Okocha , 43, won gold with the Dream Team in 1996 at the Olympics and advised the Nigeria U-23 team in the Rio 2016 Olympic to take full advantage of the occasion to achieve glory rather than thwart their chances with the distractions over demands for match allowances and threats of boycott.

A delegation from Nigeria Customs Service led by the Comptroller-General Col. Hameed Ibrahim Ali (Rtd) are in Cotonou, Benin Republic on an official working visit to meet with the Director-General of Benin Customs Administration, Col. Pierre-Claver Tossou and his team.

The aim of the visit is to review the management of transit trade and address security concerns along Nigeria and Benin border.

On arrival, the Nigeria Customs delegation, accompanied by the Nigerian Embassy officials led by Madam Beatrice Ikeku Thomas, Charge' d'Affaire, proceeded to the Head office of the Customs Administration in Benin Republic.

Boko Haram’s slippery leader Abubakar Shekau said in a sound message on Thursday he is around in spite of his reported ouster as leader of the Nigeria-based jihadist group by the Islamic State (IS).

Recalled,Islamic State (IS) has yesterday announced the replacements of Abubakar Shekau following his disappearance .
