Romance / Re: Ridiculous Excuses Men Give To Evade Marriage by ololakenny: 7:16am On Nov 10, 2008
Let's seek the face of God. It's only God that knows tomorrow's couple. Trash, ladies run!
Business / Re: Muslims Reject New Naira Notes: No Arabic Inscription by ololakenny: 7:07am On Nov 10, 2008
Thank God the inscription has bn discarded. God bless every contributor to this. Anyone that is not pleased can go to court to explain how his human right has been violated. It is a very dissappointing and pathetic issue that the so-called islamic leaders that rejects the removal are so illetrate that they cannot differentiate between religion and polity constitution.

If the north cannot read english, which is the national language, in year 2008 then all the investment on their been educated over the past decades have been wasted. Incase their reason is basically religion then the foolhardliness of their wish is insurmontable.

The removal is a welcome development.
Sports / Re: First Round Match: Nigeria (2) Vs Benin (0)! by ololakenny: 9:44am On Jan 30, 2008
i am happy we qualified. now we are at about 50% fit in tactics and formation to play in the tournament.

i was not happy at that jubilation, y on earth should somebody carry vogts in jubilation! either we win or loose, he should go. we need homebase coaches that has a track of our football successes.

odewinge was the man of that match. fast and purposeful.

we play ghana next. i need taye taiwo in 11, odewinge in 7, martins and yak as 9 & 8 respectively. please if anyone could reach vogts, help tell me to avoid fielding olofinjana or at best play him in T/taiwo stead in the defense.

i wish we could win, but sincerely yours, the confidence has waned over the past few days.
Sports / Re: Nigeria Vs Cote D'ivoire by ololakenny: 4:52pm On Jan 22, 2008
i av said it and still maintain it that we are wasting money on foreign coaches.

imagine Vogts playing 4-4-3 formation with paralysed wings! i don't know if the technical crew could not read the first half when it was glaring that things were not working.

Martins kept playing from the left, Utaka was nowhere to be found around the seventh wing, and Yakubu was stranded in the center. Bad game plan! Vogts could not use what he has optimally!

If i were to play those guys in the 4-4-3 formation, T/Taiwo will be my 11, Odewinge on 7, Yakubu 8, and Martins 9. this will give Kanu and Mikel to do a go job at the midfield.

I believe we av coaches in this country that could track our football success history and latch on it to produce what we need. sincerely, none of Shuaibu, Onigbinde, or Siasia could av played that nonsense Vogts played yesterday!

I love it that we lost that game. if it had not happened like that, we won't know where we stand.
Religion / Re: Lovemaking After Traditional Wedding Only: Is This Fornication? by ololakenny: 4:58pm On Jan 19, 2008
the marriage institution was founded by God, so it cannot be a subject of tradition or legality. to avoid temptation after the traditional wedding, do the white wedding within the same week.
Family / Re: Is A Jobless Man The Head Of His Family? by ololakenny: 4:25pm On Jan 19, 2008
conditions atimes may be like that. no problem, the man is still the head of the family.

but in this situation where the man is not willing to rise up to the challenges facing him, he could lose the respect of his headship.

the bible says a man that cannot provide for is family is worst that an infidel. do not forget, where purpose is not defined and practically substantiated, abuse is inevitable.
Romance / Re: Ten Years Of Relationship But No Marriage by ololakenny: 4:19pm On Jan 19, 2008
Like that ur guy has no good plan for himself, let alone u. for ten years, with the tone of ur message, there was no progress that assures his capabilities or that could warrant going to the next level with him, i think u both of u need prayer!

2 things are involved, if u believe in him and his capability to progress, marry u and take care of u, pray and go ahead. but if there are no indications in these perspectives, please pray and seek to quit for good.
Politics / Re: Obasanjo's 8 Years Tenure Will Not Be Probed - Presidential Aide by ololakenny: 9:46am On Jan 12, 2008
is only a change in party in power that can probe people like obasanjo, not a PDP handing to a PDP task. save for Yar'Adua who i don't know where he belongs in the corruption rank and file, the PDP is synonimous with corruption. for them in the party, corruption is like a way of life.

Yar'Adua cannot probe obasanjo, that's tantamount to breaking down the party's integrity and their sense of coporate invincibility even in the face of proven evidences of crime and corruption.

the N60b power plant is not working yet, the questions of the death of Bola Ige and others are yet to find any reasonable answer, etc.

Now that EFCC is closing on the IOB's and the old soldier's case, to get rid of the stubborn police officer is tantamount. u understand. it is all a man-know-man PDP thing.
TV/Movies / Re: What Can Be Done To Improve Nigerian Movies? by ololakenny: 9:29am On Jan 12, 2008
the way of life of a people has the most influence on the films they produce. before the militant issue in the Niger Delta can u lay ur hands on any militant-related film in this country? the same applies for the americans as it regards UFO, aliens etc.

i think professionalism is lacking in the nigeria film industry. a fine face, big boobs, willingness to sacrifice self esteem for lucre, broad shoulder and handsome face etc. are usually the credits for acting in nigeria.

i don't like watching nigeria home videos because most lack the touch, mostly repeated story lines, unreasonable story line, etc. i mean, a lot has happened in this country to write in scripts and act!

lets go back to the cinema and theartre life, then the "yau-yau" (brush gloss) thing called home video can be built on solid foundation of professionalism.
Sports / Re: Newcastle United Sacks Sam Allardyce by ololakenny: 9:09am On Jan 12, 2008
i never belived in him. coaching is one thing, but goodwill towards players goes a long way. going by the shabby treatment and the unceremonial exit of okocha from bolton, i think wat goes round comes round.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Shell Nigeria - The Next Generation by ololakenny: 9:02am On Jan 12, 2008
Welldone guys. Keep the fire burning.

there are 2 pts i will like to make. First, shell is facing an unpleasant times as regards meeting their production target compounded mainly by the militant issue. So i think while the hope is high for the job, pls do not 4get to pray for peace in this region.

secondly, cast ur nets wider o, because of a truth, shell no fit take everybody wey wan work with them.

Thanks. smiley
Romance / Re: My Wife Is Discussing Marriage With Another Man by ololakenny: 4:03pm On Dec 22, 2007
Talk to her frankly. confide in an elderly family friend or pastor for intervention. if she is still adamant, my brother, make a good riddance to bad rubbish.
Business / Re: So Much For The MTN Private Placement Offer! by ololakenny: 3:58pm On Dec 22, 2007
grin. it is for the "big boys". do u understand. i won't be surprised to hear of legal issues involving MTN concerning some of its share holders in the nearest future, because this their offer is not for us- the nigerians.

anyway, i am planning to start using my glo and celtel actively now because, as we can all see, customer satisfaction is not on MTN's agenda in nigeria.
Romance / Re: Trust In A Relationship: Should It Be 100%? by ololakenny: 3:50pm On Dec 22, 2007

Politics / Re: Madam Etteh! For Or Against? All In Favour: by ololakenny: 12:07pm On Oct 26, 2007
Look around u anywhere u are in ds country. those children u see begging money on d road, the militants in the niger-delta, the endless traffic hold-up, epilleptic power, now u could make d list endlessly, those are the results of the insatiable kleptomaniac nature of the ettehs of this country. angry

she has to go. don't u think it is more prestigeous to resign than to be sacked? she has her choice, but 4 me, she is a goner!

It is not a bad idea. A good partner is in the mind not in the age.
