charlesemeka85: the guy s a decent defender that can make the super eagles thicker at the back but his dream of breaking into the german setup is a tall one when you consider the array of talents have in the central defence position. young stars like jonathan tah(leverkusen),sule(bayern) and rudiger(chelsea) just to mention a few are miles better then him. also players like boateng, mustafi and hummels still have 2-3 years more in the german team. he may be capped and used in couple of friendly games but i don't see him having a fullfilling international career with the germans. sentiment aside the super eagles is the best bet for him. even in the german football circle torunarigha is rated ahead of him. i think he need to be wise to follow his head than his heart. The dude should make up his mind who to play for and stop playing antics If he thinks he's too good for 9ja then he should face Germany and leave us alone! He talked about love and passion, so Germany is his original love and passion while 9ja is his second hand love and passion The dude is not serious at all |

Magink: I’ve not closed door on Nigeria, says Akpoguma By Christian Okpara, Hoffenheim, Germany
Kevin Akpoguma is rated by world football governing body, FIFA as one of the future stars of the game. The Hoffenheim defender, who captained Germany at the 2015 U-20 World Cup has played for the Die Mannschaft at all the youth levels, but he is yet to play for the main team of the 2014 world champions.
And so, he is still eligible to play for the Super Eagles.
Akpoguma has a Nigerian father and a German mother, which makes him eligible to play for either of the two countries.
But the talented defender prefers to wait for a chance with the German team and will decide to switch allegiance to Nigeria if he failed to get the chance with Joachim Loew’s team.
He told The Guardian after Hoffenheim’s 4-0 defeat of Stuttgart that he has thought hard of playing for Nigeria, adding, “but the thing is that I was born in Germany and I have played for all the youth teams of Germany and I am still a young player.
“So, I want to leave it open because Germany can still call me. But if I have no other option to play for Germany, then I can consider playing for Nigeria because my dad is from Nigeria.”
Akpoguma disclosed that members of his family have not put pressure on him to choose any of the two countries, adding, “My father has told me to listen to my heart… he doesn’t want to put pressure on me to make any decision. It is very important I make the right decision.
“There are some examples like Prince Boateng of Ghana, who only played for Ghana in the World Cup and retired after that. I believe that if you want to play for a country I think you should play for that country with love and passion. It makes no sense leaving after a few games. That is why if I play for Nigeria I should be in a position to play my whole career for them. No half measures.
“Gernot Rohr visited us here in Hoffenheim and talked a lot about the young team he is building. I saw it at the World Cup; there are very good players like Iwobi, Ndidi and Leon Balogun. He explained all the things because I had a good conversation with him. But as I said, I want to leave every door open. When the time comes, I will let the world know my decision.” So what this dude is saying is that Nigeria dey do evening market? Guy if you want to play for Germany, play for them, if you want to play for 9ja come now, stop all these if this does not work, i will take that! He wants to put 9ja on hold while trying his luck with Germany If you think you truly want to play for 9ja with love and passion, please come now and stop playing games with us. |

goneinahrtbeat: My husband just confessed to me that he cheated. He's really sorry and says he won't do it again. He doesn't know why he did it but it happened twice with the same person( Does a person make a mistake twice?) I'm hurting really bad right now and I feel I wasn't enough for him and that's why it happened. Before now, our relationship was wonderful. So much so that people envied us, friends and family. Till tomorrow, they think we're perfect together. We really loved each other but I guess I loved him more than he loves me and he knows. I'm willing to forgive him and make our marriage work no matter how hard it is. Somehow, I feel I should met this person he cheated on me with. Do u think it's wise for me to meet this person? I'm just curious to know what she looks like. Will it hurt me more or give me some kind of closure? Pls advice. I'm devasted Madam you have said what every marriage needs in the bolded No marriage is perfect, never deceive yourself, if the guy could confess all by himself then be assured he's truly sorry Why try meeting or seeing the lady he cheated with? How will it help you. Forget it and move on even if he does it again, you have to still forgive him but help him overcome whatever it is that made him cheat. |
