@ wetu
You call people idiots on this forum.
who did? please show it.

But I understand why you are attacking me personally
nobody attacked you personally cos you are defined by what you say!

I am quoting the Lord Jesus Christ
are you sure?

and not some random guy who claims to be a prophet.
do you think you are qualified to say this?

but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.
i think this applies more to you than anyone else!

I did not attack TB Joshua personally
but you called him a false prophet!!!

just pointed out that what he is doing is not according to the scriptures.
you mean the scriptures you have wrongly interpreted

And if a man claims to be a prophet, it is not wrong to call him out to be a false prophet if you think he is one.
since when did your thoughts become yardstick for measurement in the kingdom? keep your so called thoughts to your self cos they are wrong!

thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:
did he call himself an apostle? even if he did, how did you try him to come to the conclusion that he is a liar?

You must desist from personal attacks.
good advise for you!

I thank you for listening and that is my last word. He that hath an ear let him hear.
good riddance, you that hath an ear will hear!!!
Politics › Re: If The Price Of Petrol Is Returned To 65, What Will Be The Effects? by oloriooko(m): 1:01pm On Jan 13, 2012
i do not see any good coming out of this. though its painful for many people cos of the subsidy removal but you cannot expect the fuel diverters to go to sleep now that they know the subsidy will be removed very soon.
this matter is like a yoruba adage: ki won so si eniyan lenu ki won tu bu iyo si, iso ni ko se ponla, iyo ni ko se tu sonu ; meaning dem mess inside your mouth at same time put something sweet in the same mouth, you no fit swallow mess at same time you no fit spit out the sweet thing.
i feel sorry for GEJ cos he came to power at this "unfortunate" time in our history. all our past leaders were concerned amassing wealth for themselves at the expense of the country, now we are in a dilemma but we cannot and will not stop praying cos there is still hope for us.
may God grant him wisdom to make the right decision and steer 9ja in the right path amen.

Heaven is proud of false prophets? hahaha.
you are blowing your tops off for being called pathetic (which i think you are!) but you have the audacity to name someone false prophet?!?!

this guy is a kid!!! who is very religious and quick to quote verses he has no clue about!!! or has God appointed you as a church inspector who knows and picks true and false prophets? leave the man alone, if you cannot match what he is doing, what basis do you have to criticize him?  huh huh huh
Christianity Etc › Re: Prophet T.b. Joshua's Kindness! by oloriooko(m): 12:02pm On Jan 13, 2012
@ brentkruge
I would rather TB Joshua's Church set up a big skills acquisition center that will teach thousands a year skills with seed money they will need to survive.
Giving handouts is not it cos within one week these guys will be broke again and will come back to the church for more hand outs. Wait a minute, I hope this is not the plan
i believe he has many of what you proposed already but this particular kind gesture is to celebrate Christmas and new year with the elderly, its commendable and he will reap the blessings attached to such actions.

Christianity Etc › Prayer For Nigeria! by oloriooko(op): 9:59pm On Jan 08, 2012
First of all, I encourage you to make petitions, prayers, intercessions, and prayers of thanks for all people,
for rulers, and for everyone who has authority over us. Pray for these people so that we can have a quiet and peaceful life always lived in a godly and reverent way. (1Ti 2:1-2 Gods Word Translation)

Its our duty to pray for our leaders instead of cursing them, our prayers can do a lot and we will not stop praying for them, so join me now:

Our heavenly Father we thank You for our land Nigeria and our rulers and pray that your Word will dominate their minds and disarm every spirit of selfishness making then selfless leaders to your people.
May they make policies and decisions that will bring lasting comfort to your people.
We pray that their minds are mantled by the Spirit of God to have genuine compassion for the people of the land they rule. They function in the wisdom of God that will guide them in making the right decisions for the progress and comfort of the people.
We pray for Nigeria at this crucial time that your peace will reign in the hearts of us all and in every part of our country.
We come against every demonic influence raising its ugly head to cause deaths of innocent citizens and we declare that as their gathering is not of God, they shall surely scatter, every form of boko aram demon controlling these people is rendered powerless and pronounced toothless, they are daily growing weak and confused thereby being exposed and extinguished.
We declare that the wrath of God is let loose on these evil doers and their sponsors and everyone that supports their demonic activities.
We declare that every child of God in this land dwells in divine safety and are protected from these demon infested group of boko aram.
We declare that our land is cleansed from the blood of innocent people and the peace of God garrisons our minds and hearts in Christ.
We bless Nigeria with the grace, glory and goodness of God.
We bless Nigeria with the anointing of God and ministry of angels.
We bless every inch of our land with productivity and peace.
We release the fountain of God's peace on every square inch of our land.
We declare that this situation caused by boko aram is turned around for the good of the gospel of Jesus Christ thereby causing the Word of God to spread like wildfire in every part of Nigeria.
We receive answers to these in Jesus name Amen!!!

what do you say about a group of lunatics that are supported by the muslims and the mosques they pray?

some idiots on this forum will still have the audacity to say that the muslim community never supports them whereas they are all smiles hearing that some christians died on christmas day! we can continue to describe their evil twisted minds in doing these evil acts but the muslims keep mute cos they secretly support their activities.

what about the statement the stupid Buhari made saying he would make the country ungovernable for GEJ? is this not the reality of this statement? and has our slow poke leader made any official statement about the unfortunate incident? but all he can see now is subsidy, what a blind man! this is very painful and unimaginable!!!

but i smell revenge in the air whenever a muslim becomes a president, the muslims should brace up for a hell of a time too!

Great thoughts nonetheless. . .They will easily believe that Mohammed divided the moon into two halves some 1400 years ago or that Jonah lived inside a fish for 3 days because it was written in mythical books they have been indoctrinated to believe in since childhood. . . .They will never accept the fact that there are planets like ours that harbor life. . .My believe is that in the near future(100-200) years from now, space technology will improve greatly and planets that harbor life will be discovered. . . .When the time comes I wonder what the story will be. . . .
you are so hunted by your conscience that you cannot but relate every thing around you to the bible, bros your salvation is nearer than ever!
if there are planets that harbor life, then the gospel must be preached to them that is if they have not received it already!

Politics › Re: Anti-Gay Bill: “Go Back To School” Soyinka Tells Nigerian Legislators by oloriooko(m): 8:33am On Dec 19, 2011
@ poster
He said, “The problem with legislators is that they fail to distinguish between personal bills and interventions in private lives. That is the problem. I see no reason why they should intervene in the private lives of adults. What people do in their bedrooms is no business of mine. It should not be the business of legislators.
true that our lawmakers need to be tutored in their line of duty. but what does the prof means by saying they intervene in the private lives (bedroom) of adults? when almost every bill passed has direct impact on people even into their private lives.
(note pls; STOP CALLING THESE PEOPLE GAY COS THEY ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR THE WORD GAY WHICH MEANS HAPPY, THEY SHOULD AND MUST BE CALLED HOMOS OR gays).
what do you expect from an atheist, very soon they will push for marriage with animals and probably trees! in the world of the prof with all his knowledge and experience, yet he's very naive in this matter, what a shame, what a waste, what vanity!
gays must not be allowed in this country. i feel very sorry for the likes of uk, us and the rest that are crossed at 9ja for saying they do not want gays in their land. these twisted countries are so full of themselves that they even want to tell you how to rule your country which is why the arabic countries are mad at them which is justifiable. if the prof is clamouring for non-interference in private lives then uk & us should leave us alone and face their twisted culture! private life my foot when the devil is forcefully pushing his kids (gays & the rest) to spread the homo disease, christians must not sleep at all. this evil act is not a surprise cos the bible has predicted this long time ago, we just have to pray and be ready.

“But at the same time, I think other countries who are pointing fingers should look inwards and see whether they also do not practise the same kind of discrimination.
this is a clear indication that the prof sees the anti-gay law as a discrimination, in order words, prof thinks we should happily welcome the gays and give them a red carpet welcome!
prof how would you feel if all your kids or grandkids all gays! and why did you marry a woman instead of a man and i believe you will give out your grand son to another boy in marriage very soon.
rubbish prof talk!!!

We can deceive ourselves for as long as we care!

Sacking Siasia will give us a thin temporary insecure cover from our real problem.

Why do we like immediate and quick but feeble solutions to our staunch problems.

The problem is from the top - putting the wrong pegs in the right hole.

The question we should ask is "who are the people we should make minister of sports?

Then NFF should comprise people who have been tried and tested in the sports industry not just some government sponsored individuals with zero knowledge of what it takes to run the NFF.

We must be honest with ourselves: Siasia nor the players are our problem. Our problem is our leadership  huh

Lets get it right from the grassroots and stop pretending like all is well  embarassed

Long live 9ja!!!
