It's mandatory to pay for transmission fee if your biometric capturing was not recent.

The fee will only be waived if it's a recent biometric with recent application.

Application that as been reviewed with PFL.

Withdrawing that application at this point automatically gives the officer more confidence that the bank statement is fake.

The note the officer will leave on that UCI will be very difficult to even get approval in the nearest future after the 5yrs ban

The account is a tier 3 account nd all KYC is completed oo. Infact it has unlimited deposit capacity but the problem is this lower limit transfer of #100,000 per day. Av called gtbank customer care tire nd I even went to their branch to either change from ussd code to pin to enable me enjoy limitless transfer, all not possible not even hardware token available.

Am stucked right now because I need to move the money out of gtbank as soon as possible nd if am to do it @100k daily, from now till December am still on it.

I regret using gtbank for large sum oo. Am a STANBIC user nd I never encounter this type of problem ever.

Please has anyone here with visitor visa status in Canada successfully applied for a study permit while in Canada? A family relative is in a dilemma because she was denied study permit while here in Canada based on insufficient funds and that the purpose of visit is not consistent with a temporary stay based on what she provided in her application. Please note that she had paid the full tuition fee for the one year program plus approx N10M in her account.

One other thing is that she stated her Nigerian address as her residence but someone said she should have used her current address in Canada. The reason she did that was because of the belief that she is not eligible to apply for study permit from inside Canada. Note that she is still within her 6month validity as a visitor.

Must she go back to Nigeria to reapply? We can address the financial concerns raised, it's just navigating this issue on a visitor status that is our main concern. Her husband and kids are back in Nigeria and are worried as well.

I would say it is very risky to reapply while in Canada because staying too long on that visit visa is not safe, what if the second application was rejected..... And the 6months is already near, to reenter Canada will be tough!
To even get approval on the student visa will be tough also.

I would suggest she exit Canada immediately and run the student visa from Nigeria.

That Canada visit visa will even be a plus for her.....

On own humble opinion o, not necessary mean she should follow suit

Yes they do extra check on passengers and if all your documents are complete and genuine, there's nothing to be worried about.
They have no right to send someone back if everything is ok

Even if you buy at 1200, chances of making a loss in 6 months time is very slim. there is a high chance dollar will exchange for 1600 in six month times

Without obvious cuts in cost of governance, naira is not going to appreciate. Bulaba and his crew to still went to the US to waste $500k not too long ago, even when the country is cash strap.
