PhonesWhy You Need To Upgrade Your Smartphone by Olubidex(op): 10:53am On Sep 11, 2018
Smartphones have come a long way from just a simple piece like a bar of soap with tiny screen to big carefully crafted piece of beauty. This article attempt to explain the line of technical development of smartphone and see if there is any slight or major leap in smartphone that can warrant consistent upgrades whenever a new flagship comes around. Recently, phone manufacturers around the world seem be struggling to bring something new to the game, however small it may be. The following are technical development paths on which smartphones are manufactured(not limited).
1. Design: Presently, design aspect is almost saturated with the release of notch, bezel less, all-screen display glass back etc. Even though some of the features have been around for sometimes, there are still an upward shifts from the previous designs. Eg the edge display and overall design on Samsung Galaxy S8, S9 and it variants are better than that of S6 edge and S7 edge. Also Apple IPhone X display is better than its predecessors. So you can upgrade to enjoy this minimal design improvement.
2. Screen: There are two major display technology competing head to head. These are IPS LCD and AMOLED( by Samsung), this two are the most used display type in smartphone today. The technical upgrade in this aspect of phone is mostly to improve it resolutions( 720p before, 1080P - 4K display today), brightness, vividness, the quality, etc of the screen. Nothing really appreciable here but you can upgrade to benefit from sophistication that comes with latest models.
3. Camera: Camera department seems to have reached it peak but latest smartphone maintained a slight edge in output when compared to older models. Therefore, you can upgrade to have a taste of the little improvements.
4. Software: In terms of software latest smartphone always have something new to offer because feedbacks from last models are improved upon to satisfy customers in the newly launched smartphone. So you can upgrade for better user experience no matter how small.
5. Sensors: All flagship phones have all the necessary sensors a smartphone should have but the best of them are found on high end. Thus you may upgrade to enjoy the best.
6. Hardware: The hardware of smartphone get better with each launch. It is customary for flagship to sport the best processor, speaker etc so that they offer a more satisfying service to anyone who upgrades.
8. Security: Phone security tend to wane as the year goes by. Upper end latest phones have the most recent security in place when compared to older version. For example, flagship phone locked to a network may soon be bypass after some years, also security updates become inconsistent after some years, making an upgrade necessary if you want to enjoy a more secure gadget.
9. Connectivity: In terms of connectivity all smartphone today have necessary radio for connections such as Bluetooth, NFC, Hotknot, WI-FI and mobile network modems. Even though all phones have these basic connectivity the best of them are only available on flagship. For instance, while Galaxy S8/S8+ and Note 8 have LTE Cat 16 1024 Mbit/s, the immediate successors namely S9/S9+ and Note 9 have LTE Cat 18 1200 Mbit/s. This applies to all brands and the little difference means a lot to some people, hence the need for an upgrade.
10. Battery: The last but arguably the most important is the battery of a smartphone. Recently, we have seen flagship gradually adopting the 4000mah baseline to satisfy longer battery life agitation from customers. Thus, you can upgrade to benefit from latest power management features, coupled with bigger battery capacity for longer period of usage from a single charge.
Finally, the points above shows that even though there may not be a very big technical jumps, manufacturers always bring something new to the flag bearing devices. This little add on can make a difference if you are the type that push the smartphone to the limit. So, I advise you upgrade if your considerations have nothing to do with money.
PoliticsRe: Majority Of One-third Out Of Overall Senate Members Can Impeach Saraki – Sagay by Olubidex: 7:01pm On Aug 10, 2018
The man is correct but that solution is still not workable. I think the minimum numbers of members of senators that can carry out legislative proceedings is 30. Thus if you have seating with more than 30 senators and 2/3 of them are Apc, then Saraki can be impeached.

Sincerely speaking, I don't expect JAMB to remit any substantial amount of money rather I expected JAMB to charge an amount so small but enough to carry out its functions effectively. The question would then be why were the previous administration of JAMB charging a fee so high yet no remittance.

You must be a dullard, two of my female friends applied for an exemption and their applications were granted. If you know so little about the process, don't you also know about redeployment? same process goes for the both.
Oga the application of exemption you are talking about must be after you have been mobilized and you present your reasons for exemption through application. Have you seen anybody who apply for exemption from school? Thus the man is right.

It's hard o. If you call customer care they might wind you up and down saying it's a third party service hence they can't help you.

I believe you should call them anyway but prepare yourself to brush this loss off. It's their company, if we had better alternatives we wouldn't patronize them.

I thought you said it was 1.5GB you ordered for? Which one is 22GB and 5GB again?
I put those messages to show it is their systems error about the whole deactivation thing.
PhonesMTN High-handedness Again by Olubidex(op): 6:22pm On Jul 09, 2018
Hi everyone out there, I have unjustly fall in the hand of MTN Nigeria. I have from time to time read on here the operational mistakes of many Nigerian mobile network operator which in most cases they wanted or expected customers to to bear the loss. They will never loss anyway.
Back to my issue with them, on the 5th of this month (last week Thursday), I decided to subscribe to MTN 1.5Gb @ #1200. The money was deducted but I didn't get their complimentary message acknowledging the transaction. After some time I turn on the data service on my phone and it worked. However, few minutes later I started receiving some messages for failed deactivation process.
That was it, since Friday I have not being able to access the interest from the line. Please, have you experience this, what is the best way to get my voice heard and attended to. Thanks

CelebritiesRe: #BloodOnTheFlag: Celebrities, Others Protest Killings In Nigeria With Graphic Ph by Olubidex: 6:04pm On Jul 02, 2018
GoTV:
This is the reason why as Christians we need to be detribalized and devoid of hate. Even though I'm a born again Christian, the hatred Christians have for Muslims cum Fulanis is the reason why they blame every killing in plateau and middle belt on fulani herdsmen. The media has successfully demonized Muslims and Fulanis with fake reports and unverified news. This is why i like organizations like MURIC always fighting for the interest of Muslims while we Christians have no one but the greedy politicized CAN. Instead of preaching love amongst all Nigerians, our useless bishops like Oyedepo is busy preaching hatred while attention seeking celebrities are blackmailing the federal government. We Christians are truly the problems in this country .
The MURIC you said you like has never one day preach love and unity among Nigerians. So stop seeking acceptance

All Christians are hypocrites by default.

I clearly remember when iwobi scored two goals or so when we played Argentina in the friendly. Igbos and Christians didn't allow us hear any other thing all through that week apart from her Ipod youths are the one always representing Nigeria bla bla bla.

Yesterday Musa scored a brace and they were all jubilating forming good citizens and one Nigeria.

If opposite was the case maybe it was iwobi or Moses who scored the brace who knows they might visit putin in Russia today with 1000 playcards with their regular slogan boldly written on it "Biafra amaka" "igbo amaka" or Biafra land of the rising sun " and other shits to protest for the division of Nigeria.

Hypocritical lot.
Evil doers.

PhonesRe: Beware Of Defective Products Sold At Online Stores by Olubidex: 9:30pm On May 07, 2018
Dclique:
Its sad to know that online retail stores just put up item for sale without properly checking the quality, then make innocent customers fall victim and suffer unjustly.

And now most online retails stores (jumia) have cancelled thier 'pay on delivery' option, therefore customers must now pay online.

These products will look flashy and in good condition till u purchase it

I just want to share my terrible experience i had with Jumia after i purchased a defective product which stopped working after the 10th day and unfortunately jumia return policy is valid for only 7days, so anything after that means you are on ur own.

The yeye Binatone product even has a sticker on it which clearly says 2 years warranty then i remember this is naija. I just accepted my loss and moved on but im done with online shopping.

If you still shop online, be very careful.
You are not alone oops I fall victim of it on Jumia buying Oukitel u13 that only work for about a forthright and digitizer went dead. I can never by gadget from Jumia again. I suspect Jumia is giving customers returned and defective items hence their 7 day return policy.

“I am talking about actual releases, not budgeted; what they actually got. Let us compare that with capital releases to the same ministries in 2017, when oil price was between $50 and $60 a barrel, N415 Billion for Power, Works & Housing, N80 Billion for Transportation; N65 Billion for Agriculture; totalling N560 Billion, in a time when we were earning at least 50 percent less than we were earning in 2014.”

Christianity EtcRe: Let's Stop Blaming Judas Iscariot, He Doesn't Deserve To Be Blame. by Olubidex: 2:15pm On Mar 30, 2018
His free will was not taken from him that is why Jesus Christ said cursed is the man by whom the son of man is betrayed. He had the opportunity to reject devil advances to betray his master. A good example is the case of Simon Peter who denied Jesus thrice consecutively but went to ask for forgiveness. but Judas went to hang himself.
The truth is he sinned like every other man but choose his own way
