Foreign AffairsRe: Russia: Putin To Oversee Huge Nuclear Drills Amid Ukraine Tension by olugabbie(m): 4:29pm On Feb 19, 2022

US and NATO also carry out drills of this nature yearly. The US carry out military drills more than any country in the world.
Foreign AffairsWill Russia Invades Ukraine? by olugabbie(op):
Russia-Ukraine crisis is bigger than Ukraine. It is majorly about the security architect of europe. The more NATO expands, the more it's strength increases. The continuous expansion of NATO will put Russia in a bad state in future. Russia will be ISOLATED.

WHY DID RUSSIA DEPLOY TROOPS TO IT'S BORDER WITH UKRAINE?

Ukraine uses a Turkish bayraktar TB2 drone on the Russian backed seperatists in the Donbas region on October 20, 2021. Russia feared that Ukraine was planning to launch a major offensive on the seperatists. In November it was reported the Russia has amassed more than 100000 thousands troops on Russo-Ukrainian border. The troops were deployed to deter Ukraine from launching offensive against the seperatists.

WHY IS THE SEIZED REGION OF DONBAS SO IMPORTANT TO RUSSIA?

Russia needs the Donbas region to bargain for the nullification of Ukrainian ambition to join NATO. Any country that has ethnic disputes or external territorial disputes is not qualified to join NATO. So as it stands, it very unlikely that Ukraine will be admitted into NATO.

WILL RUSSIA INVADES UKRAINE?

Russia will not invade as long as Ukraine does not launch offensive against the seperatists. But if Ukraine launch offensive against the seperatists. Russia will invade. But it will not be a full invasion. It will go for the Ukrainian capital (Kiev) and the Donbas region only. This can be achieved in less than 10 days.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF RUSSIA TAKES KIEV AND DONBAS

If Russia takes Kiev and Donbas. Ukraine will be forced to negotiate. The seized territories (Kiev & Donbas) will be used to bargain for nullification of Ukrainian ambition to join NATO.

Russia will be sanctioned by the West. The harsh sanctions mentioned by the West will be imposed. The effect of the sanctions will be felt by both Russia, the West & the rest of the world. Russian economy is heavily integrated in the world economy. Countries like Germany, France e.t.c will be affected badly. They will be forced to abandon cheap gas from Russia for very expensive gas from other countries like the US. This is why the two countries are reluctant in their approach to the issue. The US & UK that are taking the hard stand are far away from the region. They won't be affected.

IS THE EU & NATO COUNTRIES REALLY UNITED?

On TV they are united. But in reality they are not. Countries like Hungary, Croatia have made it clear, that they don't want to be on the enemy list of Russia. Hungary even rejected NATO troops deployment to it's territory. Croatian president warn that it will pull it's troop out of NATO if Russia is been forced to start a war. Norway and Finland have maintained neutrality. The two share border with Russia. Germany has refused to officially declare that the Nord Stream II pipeline will be used to sanction Russia. France believes that peace can not be achieved in EU without Russia. It is clear that the US is dragging the two most powerful countries (Germany and France) in EU & NATO to a journey that they don't want to embark on. They are just playing along.

WILL RUSSIA SURVIVE THE SANCTIONS?

China has made it clear that it is ready to assist Russia economically if the sanctions are imposed. Gas pipeline from Russia to China is already been constructed in the Siberia region of Russia. This will be substituted for the Nord Stream II pipeline. Other packages are being put in place to assist Russia. Russia has long term economic plan to counter sanctions.

WHAT DOES THE WEST WANT?

US wants to create a unipolar world where there will be one leader. The like of Russia and China oppose this idea. They keep challenging the US and the US is not ready to loose it's status. US wants to deal with Russia first before taking on the GIANT (China).

WHY ARE COUNTRIES JOINING NATO?

The package is very attractive. If a country joins NATO it's security will be taken over by US/NATO. The country will spend less on security. US takes the responsibility. The country will also be placed under US nuclear umbrella.

HOW TO AVOID WAR?

In my opinion, i think the head of Germany Navy has said it all. Bundeswehr Kay-Achim Schönbach (R) said President Putin wanted respect and he should given the respect. He also said Russia is not a threat and that China is. He wants the West to focus on China. He spoke the mind of the Germans. Russia wants to be on the good book of EU & NATO. But for this to happen, the respect Puttin deserve must be given to him.

Foreign AffairsRe: Russia Will LOSE ‘bloody’ War With Ukraine Should ‘KGB Thug’ Putin Invade by olugabbie(m): 7:01am On Feb 18, 2022

Puttin is not a fool. Although Ukraine and Georgia want to become NATO members, they face significant obstacles, especially as they have unresolved territorial disputes: Ukraine with the self-proclaimed Peoples Republics of Lugansk and Donetsk (collectively known as Donbass); and, Georgia with the Republics of Abkhazia and South Ossetia, which do have limited international recognition. So long as the question of Donbass’ sovereignty remains unresolved and the independence of South Ossetia and Abkhazia contested by Georgia, the two countries cannot become member states as NATO clearly outlines:

States which have ethnic disputes or external territorial disputes, including irredentist claims, or internal jurisdictional disputes must settle those disputes by peaceful means in accordance with OSCE principles. Resolution of such disputes would be a factor in determining whether to invite a state to join the Alliance.

So the 100,000 troops on the Russia-Ukraine
border are there to pressure Ukraine not to take back the seized territories. Now Ukraine will not be able to attack because it may trigger an invasion from Russia. Although, the West is pushing Ukraine to take back those territories. But Ukraine doesn't want war with Russia. Even if Ukraine should launch attack on the seperatists and Russia invades. They will not go for the entire country. They will go for the capital and the Donbas or the Donbas only. The two can be captured with 5day. They can now use the two newly seized area to bargain with Ukraine for written agreement that will guaranty Ukraine will never join NATO.

The West will then sanctions Russia. China on the other hand will come to Russia aid. Russia can do whatever it want to do in the region. There are countries that share borders with Russia and don't have any issue with Russia. Norway (NATO member) and Finland (not a NATO member) never had any issue with Russia. These two countries always stay neutral. They respect Russia. They don't push anti-Russia agenda.

The sanctions will have negative effect on Russian economy. But it will also have affect the West. Most EU countries depend on Russia for Natural gas and crude oil. These countries are not prepared for this development.

President Putin messed this one up, he allowed Ukraine to Re-stock, why the show of force if you won't invade, he just wasted millions of dollars for military Drills and got nothing.

I said it before he has a lot to lose if he invades Ukraine especially the Nord Stream 2 pipeline

You don't allow your enemy to get sophisticated weapons like the tank killer weapon that the USA supplied to Ukraine( javelin)

The USA also provided $200m to Ukraine for weapons and even Britain also gave Ukraine anti-tank weapons

We know if Russia wants to invade they would bomb from the air and the tanks and soldiers would roll in but that javelin would disable the tanks and the men would die, Russians and Ukrainians would die

The javelin missile is a portable anti-tank missile with an automatic infrared guidance system

Let's hope Putin comes back to his senses but he lost this one, he made the USA and Nato closer to Ukraine now more than ever

Again Putin failed there are better ways to install a Pro-Russian president, he should have just asked the CIA for guidance, lol, we don't want war because innocent people would die

https://www.walkbrazil4k.com/2022/02/how-president-putin-flopped-on-ukraine.html?m=
The show of force is to prevent Ukraine from taking back the Donbas region. They were deployed few days after the seperatists were attack by Ukraine using Turkish drone. Ukraine wanted to take back the region. Ukraine is now aware that if it decides to take back Donbas, Russia will be forced to protect the seperatists. So the plan to take back the Donbas has been suspended for now. The deployment may be permanent, because most of those troops were moved from Russia-China border. Russia is now comfortable leaving it's border with China unguarded (not heavily guarded). So it is like the troops are there to stay. The ones deployed to Belarus will definitely return to Russia after the drill as stated by Russia.

The deployment is aimed at prevent Ukraine from taking back Donbas. The West escalated it. They accuse Russia of planning to invade and Russia use the opportunity to table it's security concern. So it is like killing a bird with two stone. As it is now, Russia is winning. Ukraine dares not attack the seperatists in Donbass & the ambition to join NATO has been killed.

Iron dome is designed to intercept cheap rocket fire by Hezbollah or Hamaz into Israel. The Israel wanted to be able to intercept these rockets without breaking the bank. This gave birth to Iron dome.

Iron dome is not going to be effective against Russia. The defense system will be taken out in no time. Israelis defense system like David Sling can be effective not Iron dome.
Foreign AffairsRe: Israel topdoed sale of Iron Dome to Ukraine, fearing Russian reaction-report by olugabbie(m):
Russia made it clear from day one that it has no intention invading Ukraine. They mentioned it in every meeting they had with the West. They even went as far as mentioning the duration for the military drill.

But the Western leaders (US & UK) kept raising false alarm. They kept calling on thier citizens to leave. While the Ukrainian president kept telling the world that he does not think Puttin has made the decision yet. Ukrainian president was alarmed by the US & UK leaders actions. He knew that it was nothing but propaganda.

Why do you think that the Germans and the French didn't take the warnings issued by the US & UK serious?

Less than 15 minutes to turn Russia to dust!

A Russia with just 7% of NATO’s military budget. Putin has completely failed to realize the most glaring reality.

Yes! Russia will cause collateral damages, but at the end, Russia itself will be dust.

This was the same instinct that befell Hitler. Germany’s technological prowess intoxicated him, and it all ended in doom!
There is a system called Missile Defence Alarm System. It is network of radars system built to detect ICBM launch from any part of the world. Both Russia & US have this System.

There are few countries that have Anti-ballistic missile (ABM). aBM is a surface-to-air missile designed to counter ballistic missiles (missile defense).

Russian A-135 Anti-ballistic missile system & A-35 anti-ballistic missile system. The system uses Gorgon and Gazelle missiles with nuclear warheads to intercept incoming ICBMs. S-400 defends against tactical missiles.

US have Ground-Based Midcourse Defense System and AEGIS ballistic missile defense.

Indian as Prithvi Defence Vehicle Mark-II

Israel has Arrow-3

Originally Russia has ICBM pointed at major enemy cities in the world. Some pointed at major military bases in US & Europe. Some pointed at major infrastructures like radar systems e.t.c. Likewise the US. So if missile/missiles is/are fired towards Russia. They will be detected and Russia will returned the favour and at the same time, try to intercept the incoming missiles. Although intercepting a ballistic missile is 50-50. You either shoot the missile down or you fail.

Even if you destroy Russia or the US. They still have Submarines that are built to survive nuclear strike. They will take the enemy by surprise. They called them second strike capabilities. Russia has about 10 Nuclear Powered Ballistic Missile submarines. Each armed with 16 missile (160 in total). 160 ICBM is enough to do the job.

At the moment Russia leads in using tactical Missiles in a nuclear war. They have hypersonic missiles that can be armed with nuclear warheads. They Zircon and Kinzhal hypersonic missiles are the only hypersonic missiles in service. The US will introduce it's own soon.

The idea that US & it's allies will turn Russia to dust without Russia returning the favour is laughable.

Again, the effect of nuclear war will be felt in far away Nigeria. If Russia is attacked, the Radiation alone will kill so many people in the baltic states, Ukraine & countries in the Western europe. Kindly check the likely aftermath of a nuclear war on the internet.

In a nuclear war. No one wins.
Foreign AffairsRussian Moved Nuclear Bombers&Fighter Jets Carrying Hypersonic Missiles To Syria by olugabbie(op): 4:24am On Feb 16, 2022
SOURCE:- https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2022/2/15/russias-defence-minister-meets-syrias-assad-for-talks

Russia’s Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu has visited Syria for talks with President Bashar al-Assad and to inspect a Russian airbase in the war-torn country, his ministry said, amid heightened tensions between the West and Moscow over Ukraine.

The trip comes as the Russian military deployed long-range nuclear-capable bombers and fighter jets carrying state-of-the-art hypersonic missiles to its airbase in Syria for massive naval drills in the region.
During a meeting in Damascus on Tuesday, Shoigu “informed the Syrian president about the exercises of the Russian navy in the eastern Mediterranean”, Russia’s defence ministry said in a statement.

The two discussed “military-technical cooperation as part of the joint fight” against international “terrorism” and Russian humanitarian assistance to the people of Syria “suffering from the prohibitive sanctions of the United States and Western countries”.
The statement said Shoigu also inspected Russia’s Hmeimim airbase in western Syria, which has served as Russia’s main outpost in the Middle Eastern country. Moscow has also expanded and modified a naval base in the Syrian port of Tartus, the only such facility that Russia has outside the former Soviet Union.

It wasn’t clear from the statement precisely when the meeting took place.

The Defence Ministry said the exercise in the eastern Mediterranean that involves 15 warships and about 30 aircraft is part of a series of sweeping naval drills that started last month amid the standoff over Ukraine. It said the manoeuvers were intended to train for action to “protect national interests” and “fend off military threats against the Russian Federation”.
Long-range, nuclear-capable Tu-22M3 bombers and MiG-31 fighter jets carrying the latest Kinzhal hypersonic cruise missiles landed at the Russian airbase in Syria’s coastal province of Latakia as part of the drills. The military says the Kinzhal has a range of up to 2,000km (about 1,250 miles) and flies at 10 times the speed of sound, making it hard to intercept.
The deployment of Kinzhal missiles to Syria appears to be intended to showcase the Russian military’s capability to threaten the US carrier strike group in the Mediterranean.

The Defence Ministry said the Russian navy chief reported to Shoigu that the drills envisaged practice in targeting enemy warships.

Moscow has been a key ally of the Assad regime throughout the Syrian conflict that erupted in 2011 with the repression of anti-government protests.

Russia’s military intervention in 2015 helped turn the tide of the war in Assad’s favour and Moscow maintains military bases in the country.
Russia’s political and military support for Syria has been a particular sticking point in Moscow’s relations with the West, which has imposed sanctions on Moscow for bolstering the Assad regime.

Tensions between Moscow and the West have soared recently, with the West accusing the Kremlin of amassing troops on its border with Ukraine in advance of a possible invasion.

On Tuesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Moscow does not want a war in Europe amid rising tensions over Ukraine but demanded that the issue of Kyiv’s relationship with NATO be resolved in its entirety immediately.

Speaking at a joint news conference on Tuesday after talks with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Putin said Russia had been informed by Western powers that its neighbour would not join the transatlantic military alliance in the near future. But he warned that was not a satisfactory assurance.

Ukraine's Foreign Ministry says comments by the country's ambassador to the UK suggesting it could be "flexible" on its ambition to join Nato were "taken out of context".

The ministry says the prospect of joining the Western military alliance remains "enshrined in the constitution".

"The key for our country is a security guarantee and the best guarantee would be the immediate joining of Nato," it adds.

Ukraine will keep seeking NATO membership - Zelensky
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says his country will keep seeking Nato membership despite Russian opposition and scepticism from some Western leaders.

In a news conference alongside Germany's Chancellor Olaf Scholz on Monday, Zelensky adds that "many journalists and many leaders are hinting a little to Ukraine that it is possible not to take risks, not to constantly raise the issue of future membership in the alliance, because these risks are associated with the reaction of the Russian Federation".

"I believe that we should move along the path we have chosen," he says.

The remarks come after the Ukraine's ambassador to the UK backtracked on earlier comments he had made to the BBC, in which he said Ukraine was willing to be "flexible" on its ambition to join Nato.

Russia is not interested in controlling Ukraine. The country is already been controlled by the West. Ukraine can join EU to boost it economy. What Russia doesn't want, is for Ukraine to join NATO. Finland for example also share border with Russia. It is an EU member. But not a NATO member. The country is not having any issue with Russia.
Foreign AffairsRe: Ukraine's Ambassador Said His Country Might Drop NATO Membership Ambition by olugabbie(op):
The Ukrainian leaders thought the whole pressure will force Russia to back down. But now it is clear that Russia is adamant. They thought the lethal weapons they got from the West and the threats made by the West to impose harsh economic sanctions on Russia will push Russia to de-escalate the tension. They even threatening to sanction Puttin himself and the likes of Chelsea boss-Roman Abramovich.

But what they fail to realise is that, this is a matter of life & death for Russia. If all the countries bordering Russia joins NATO. Russia will be alone & powerless. Which is why Russia will never allow Ukraine to join NATO.

I strongly believe Russia won't invade Ukraine. They are just trying to put pressure on Ukraine to abandon it's ambition to join NATO. Ukraine has no choice than to accept FINLANDIZATION. Which means stay neutral.

Foreign AffairsUkraine Seeks Meeting With Russia Within 48 Hours To Discuss Build-up by olugabbie(op): 4:04am On Feb 14, 2022
SOURCE: https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-60370541?iorg_service_id_internal=624173547714020%3BAfqKRERY3mZh3Sxp

Ukraine has called for a meeting with Russia and other members of a key European security group over the escalating tensions on its border.

Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said Russia had ignored formal requests to explain the build-up of troops.

He said the "next step" was requesting a meeting within the next 48 hours for "transparency" about Russia's plans.

Russia has denied any plans to invade Ukraine despite the build-up of some 100,000 soldiers on Ukraine's borders.

But some Western nations have warned that Russia is preparing for military action, with the US saying Moscow could begin with aerial bombardments "at any time".

More than a dozen nations have urged their citizens to leave Ukraine, and some have pulled embassy staff from the capital. CBS News reported that the US is preparing to withdraw all its personnel from Kiev within the next 48 hours, citing three sources
Mr Kuleba said Ukraine had, on Friday, demanded answers from Russia about their intentions under the rules of the Vienna Document, an agreement about security issues adopted by the members of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), which includes Russia.

"If Russia is serious when it talks about the indivisibility of security in the OSCE space, it must fulfil its commitment to military transparency in order to de-escalate tensions and enhance security for all," he said.

However, Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky, who criticised the "panic" that could spread from such claims, said he had seen no proof that Russia was planning an invasion in the coming days.

On Sunday, he spoke for nearly an hour by phone with US President Joe Biden. The White House said President Biden had reiterated US support for Ukraine, and that both leaders had agreed on "the importance of continuing to pursue diplomacy and deterrence".

Ukraine's statement of the call said its president thanked the US for its "unwavering support" and that, at the end, President Zelensky invited the US leader to come to Ukraine. There has been no comment on the invite from the White House.

An hour-long call between President Biden and Russian leader Vladimir Putin the day before failed to yield a breakthrough.
Western allies have previously made clear one of Russia's key demands - that Ukraine is never be allowed to join the Nato military alliance - is not up for debate, saying the alliance's door must remain open to new members.

But Ukraine's ambassador in London, Vadym Prystaiko, has told the BBC his country might be willing to drop its ambition to join Nato to avert war, saying Ukraine could be "flexible".

Asked if Kiyv was considering shelving its plans to pursue Nato membership, despite it being written into the Ukrainian constitution, he replied: "We might - especially being threatened like that, blackmailed by that, and pushed to it."

In the latest attempt to find a diplomatic solution, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has meetings scheduled with President Zelensky in Kyiv on Monday and with President Putin in Moscow on Tuesday.

The chancellor, who took over the leadership of Germany from Angela Merkel in December, has warned of severe economic consequences for Russia if it should launch any invasion, echoing statements by other Western nations and members of the Nato military alliance.

But Berlin officials have downplayed any expectation of a breakthrough.

Meanwhile, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson plans to hold fresh diplomatic talks across Europe to bring Russia "back from the brink" of war.
In Washington, President Biden's National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said an invasion could begin "any day now".

Mr Sullivan said the US is closely monitoring for a potential "false flag" operation by Moscow as a pretext for a full-scale invasion so it can claim it is responding to Ukrainian aggression.

Russia contends that its build-up of troops along the Ukraine border is its own concern, within its own territory. On Sunday, senior foreign policy official Yuri Ushakov characterised the US warnings of imminent invasion as "hysteria has reached its peak".

The current global oder is built on the assurance that Superpowers would NEVER directly engage each other – militarily. States that are in the periphery of each bloc's sphere of influence are strategically expendable, and provide the much-needed platform for controlled confrontations – Taiwan, Ukraine. The West can't go to war with China over Taiwan. The West won't fire a shot at Russia over Ukraine – Biden and Scolz already made that clear. That won't be the case if China invades South Korea, or, Russia hits Poland.
Just like in the case of WWII: the German invasion of Czechoslovakia, Austria, unsettled the world, but no major power moved an inch, not until Hitler touched Poland.

While a Russian invasion of Ukraine is most unlikely; forget the media meltdown, Putin would play the Georgian card – worst case scenario.
Brilliant analysis!

They were not there for any military activities besides training Ukrainian military, so it is only normal that they leave at this time. The 3k Troops US sent to backup NATO is what?

NATO will defend Ukraine for the purpose of stabilizing Europe, and US will support NATO In doing so. At the end, Russia will lose, because China can’t help them.

The joint statement from Xi and Putin at the start of the Winter Olympics is whathuh

Like I said, Russia will know whats coming when they invade Ukraine.
Do you know what is means for US fight Russia? Do u knw what nuclear war is?

Well, the troops that have been deployed so far is far less to what Russia has assembled at the border. Russia has more 130,000 troops at the border compare with less than 8000 that the US has been deployed. If you do ur maths right. You will see that those troops are not deployed to fight. Besides US only deployed troops & they didn't deploy weapons. Tanks, artillery e.t.c were not deployed. Are their soldiers going to fight the Russians with guns. Common on bro!

The US deployment of troops is signal to NATO members that the US takes their security serious.

They have no plan, but they’re moving their Military in their numbers to Ukraine borders. You think NATO will fall for such childish talk, so when they invade Ukraine unaware, they will have something to boast of.

Is the US government the only one reporting the deployment of Russian troops or the whole of EUROPEhuh Is the US government the only one’s calling for their citizens to leave Ukraine or the whole world as it ishuh So those countries in your tiny little mind, don’t have intelligence huh In your tiny little mind, only Russia knows what they’re up to, and you want the rest of the world to sit back and watch them??

If them Born Putin well, make he go full offensive on Ukraine. NATO will always defend Ukraine wether they’re a member or not, so far as they are in Europe.

There’s a body that doesn’t want the region destabilize, and the only backup Russia has against NATO is China, of which those ones know not to get involved, else the US comes in.
Lol! Firstly China won't suppose Russia militarily if war breaks out. I am sure you have not been listening to news. US have started pulling it's troop out of Ukraine. 150 was pulled out today. UK is doing the same thing. Infact UK have decided to pull it entire troops (instructors) out of Ukraine.

Please do the mathematics in your head. Visit News media sites. Watch CNN, BBC, Aljazeera e.t.c for updates.

Kindly check Aljazeera, CNN, BBC, France 24, WOIN, RTV to confirm this. If i have time, i will send the screenshot to you.

Well, that means he has decided to be another Hitler
No that is not accurate. Hitler wanted to rule the world. He wanted to conquer the entire Europe. Puttin on the hands don't want to be surrounded by his enemies.

The West wants to contain Russia. You may disagree. But that is what will happen if all the countries in eastern europe join NATO. So it is a game.

The real fear is Russia making a noise about War and show of force. They should go ahead and hit first, and see what will befall them.

When you’re comparing Russia’s military chest, make sure the comparison is with NATO and not the US because NATO is the one to defend Ukraine, not the US, the US will be there for backup together with its own Allie’s.
The noise Russians (Puttin, Lavrov e.t.c) are making is that they have no plan to invade Ukraine. They have saying this from day one. It is the West that are talking about invasion not Russia.

Ukraine is not a NATO member. So it is on it's own. The US and some NATO members have sent weapon to Ukraine and also have military instructors training Ukrainian soldiers as we speak. They have also promise to sanction Russia. So they are doing what they can do. As per defending Ukraine, that will not happen.

If they want to defend Ukraine, they would have deployed troops to Ukraine, the same way they have deployed troops to some NATO members in that region. So it is not going to happen

Russia is willing to invade and the entire world seems to ve backong out of Ukraine...
My fear for Russia is that, how are they going to survive those heavy sanctions? But at the same time i believe Puttin. He has said it several times. He has no plan to invade Ukraine. I believe there will be no war.

I can tell you this, Ukraine cannot be a push over in this war... Ukraine is the second military powerhouse in eastern Europe after Russia.

Majority of Russia's engineer's are Ukrainians.... And remember they had weapons of mass destruction before.
The major problem for Ukraine is that Russia has been modernised. When Russia deploy its troops to Syria to help Al Assad stay in power. They went there to compete with the US & it's allies in Syria. But when they saw that the US & UK were not interested in competing with them. They downsized their the troops & military equipments already deployed to Syria. So that's to tell you that, they have strong believe in their military capacity.

Russian military is not what it's used to be.
