The question is..... Must you marry?

You know, marriage is not for everyone.

You might be one of the people marriage is not for.

Think about that!

Tooh! I wish you well in whatever decision you take concerning this matter.

However, from close to 20 years of marital experience, I will tell you that it's not advisable to marry against one's parental wishes, approval and blessings.

If she's actually everything a man wants in a woman, why didn't her baby daddies wife her?

Ponder on the above and there lies your answer and subsequent decision.

From another angle, are you sure you're not a gold digger?

Family / Re: How Do I Cure Dandruff. by Oluneutral: 6:33pm On Oct 02, 2022
You need 2 products. Tested, trusted and confirmed.

1. Camphor.

2. Original coconut oil.

Grind the camphor and mix with the coconut oil and be using the solution as hair food/cream.

Come back to testify.

Family / Re: Why Do Some Baby Fathers Neglect Their Children Welfare? by Oluneutral: 9:23pm On Sep 25, 2022
Because they never loved their baby mamas.

There's an adage in Yoruba land, which says.......... It's the wife that we love that we usually extend hand of love to her children.

Another reason is because the so called babby daddy too has never been responsible and accountable, so, to adjust to the new task seems like an Herculean task to them.

And for the women who spreads legs for them also share in the blame.

I don't envy that woman at all.
That said, the woman better has a correct and strong shock absorber because it's very rare for men to forgive such grevious offence. The woman should be ready to forgive, or rather, stomach every bullshlt the man will dish out to her and any attempt to complain will lead to constant reminder of the grevious offence she committed and was forgiven.
That woman's freedom is already mortgaged .
Family / Re: Who Else Noticed This? by Oluneutral: 9:08pm On Aug 30, 2022
It may look so but it's not actually so. It's our minds that is playing games with us.

For instance, there are still 24hours in a day, 60mins in an hour, 60 seconds in a minute and since nobody is tampering with the time, it still counts as expected. The 60 seconds in a minute hasn't changed to 30 seconds neither has the 60 minutes in an hour changed to 30minutes.

Try these observations:
When you're busy with something worthwhile, it usually look as if time is moving faster but when you're lonely or sick or in pain, it usually seems like the time is being dragged very slowly.

That's my observation, anyways.

grin peace that is laced with war.

She can't come and kill herself.

So, you don't know that it's not every peace that is actually peaceful?

The woman might have adopted different strategies but to no avail. She decided to give herself peace of mind.
Whether husband or wife, learn to give yourself peace of mind.

The man has pushed that woman to the extreme and the woman doesn't want to develop HBP on top his matter, as a result, she decided to give him peace that is laced with war.

Marriage..... Hhhhmmmm, it is well.

Family / Re: Is It Wrong To Show Gratitude? by Oluneutral: 8:12pm On Jun 24, 2020
@op, thank you for this post. Believe me, not wrong to show gratitude. They're just showing how arrogant and ill-mannered they are. We have a family tenant like that, at first, I was always getting angry anytime we do them any good and they always believe it's their right, hence, not saying thank you, but later got used to it and no longer bother myself, only that, no more prefential treatment for them again, purely landlord and tenant kind of relationship now. Funny thing is that the husband is a pastor too. The husband o, wife o, children o, all of them, I never heard them appreciate anybody.

One day, I overheard one of their kids singing that nursery School thyme...... There are five magic words......bla bla bla, and I was wondering that, so these kids even know that thank you is a magic word. They're Yorubas too and in this part, we cherish gratitude so much, we're brought up with proverbs like....eni ti a se loore, ti ko dupe, bi olosa to ko ni l'eru lo ni.

Omode to ba du'pe ore ana, a ri emii gba.

Eni ti a ba se rere fun, ti ko moo, ti a ba se ika fun, ko ma binu.
We're brought up with proverbs like these and we're also passing the training to our children.
Besides, how can you thank God alone without appreciating the person God used to bless you, abi, God came down from heaven ni? What if God sent someone to you and the person refused to deliver the message?

Appreciation opens better and greater doors of more blessings. Let's all learn the art of showing gratitude.

Eat healthily. Take lots and lots of fruits and vegetables. Stop taking iced water, instead opt for hot water which even has added advantage of increased lactation.

Exercise moderately to increase your dopamine hormones which will help you to boost positive mood, good for your general outlook. Love yourself and your loved ones genuinely. Take things easy and stop being anxious. Nature will take care of the rest.

Congratulations!

I've been following this thread since almost inception.

I'm the type that doesn't know how to eat fruits, my dad too and my junior brother (three of us don't eat fruits).

is there anything we can use to substitute fruits? though I've learnt to eat pineapple and banana only in recent time

Welcome on board dear.
You can make it into smoothies. Cut into pieces, remove the seeds and blend together and viola! Your smoothie is ready. You can refrigerate but personally, I don't usually allow it pass 24 hours.
You can blend 2, 3 or 4 fruits together.
Benefits of taking fruits daily can never be over emphasized.

Nice one, I love seeing people that take their health very seriously.

I am also a voracious fruit eater. And I can truthfully say the health benefits of daily consumption of fruits are truly off the Chainz.

I woke this morning to eat cucumbers and oranges and I am finishing the day with water-melon and bananas.

Many people don't know that eating fruits and vegetables makes them fit and healthy always.

Take care of your health Nigerians. Eat at least a fruit daily.

@op, are you lizzyangel's husband?

Yours and her story are similar.

Ondo state.
Pregnant.
Asthmatic.
Private school teacher.
Lost a child last year.

Your stories are very much similar.

Though, I was later disgusted with her entitlement mentality here, but if she's the same person we're talking about here, then, I must do something to help. Life first.

Ok. So for today, my fruits are watermelon, apple (the cutest little thing), oranges and cucumber

How come we took almost the same fruits today? I wasn't able to go to market yesterday, so I resorted to buying from those fruit hawkers. We had apples and watermelons today. I'm sure it's going to be the same tomorrow as work won't and can't allow me to go to the market.
