It's so unfortunate that loads of our young ones are subjected to this ill-treatment on the grounds of our nationalities. I've personally not experienced this regardless of my years of going in and out of different countries yearly. I guess it's just luck on my side because I'm not sure if I'd be able to cope. Sorry about your experience brother and I hope our leaders will do just right. Cheers |
If anyone thinks or feel these babarians would change the country for the better, you better go warm eba. The same pattern with Afghanistan is what I’m seeing here. I’m so scared for the women. |

My own experience was that I was earning more than enough while working in Nigeria and even more on side hustles and from vendors who wanted to get on board my coy then. When I decided to push for masters abroad it was quite easy to self fund after working for about 12 years post graduate. I was also entitled to gratuity on resigning and got 25% of my pension savings few months down the line. It’s actually more expensive to move now due to the exchange rate. |
2-1 mods please update |
Like every other things no one is enforcing these things and we are as people continue to glory in madness such that it has become a way of life. Firstly, a lot don’t go to proper driving school to understand and learn the nitti gritty of driving. It’s beyond being able to move and reverse a car. How safely can you drive with considerations for others. Understanding every parts of the car and how to safely operates them. Even me I thought I was a solid driver after driving over a decade in Nigeria with no accident but was a total mess in my first experience outside the country. We compete with headlamps here which endangers others but you’ll get a ban if you try that rubbish in a saner clime. I pray we get there someday |
zedegit:You’re just another knob head looking for attention. This will be my last response to you. What didn’t work for him? My stance remain and even to you too. Stay off topic you know nothing about and learn from others. It’s not about arrogance, it’s just application of wisdom. |
zedegit:If he needs education he won’t come to a public platform to write on something he has no idea about. The topic is for those with experience not for kids or those who use every opportunity to talk down the country. What’s the purpose of your education if you don’t know when to apply decorum? |
gbassa:Thank you for your input. It’s tiring telling people these things work. They just don’t key into it or lack information |
ZaddyJ:Third party doesn’t cover damage to you from your insurance firm. If you were able to get hold of the other person. Their own third party should cover you. That’s if they’ve got it and you get the needed information from them. Your own 3rd party covers those your affected as well and not your car. |
blackboy2star:Like I don’t get. I think most time it’s just kids who have no idea or experience. Not sure they even own a car or are insured. I ensure I make use of my insurance to the full benefits. Even if I no get accident, I still make claim for little traffic dent. They do send their consultant and my mechanic sure knows how to negotiate and get enough money to sort whatever that he needs to sort out. This is my own experience |
Wizlead:How did you arrived at this? I want to know the background story. I personally think you guys say things to just put the country in bad light for whatever reason. I was comprehensively insured in the same country and whenever I had issues, I followed due process and gets funded to either fix or replace stolen ride. I can attest to many friends, colleagues and the likes with same experience. |
Solsix:Doesn’t equate to forex. People use different exchange platform to send money to their local accounts back home. We maintain our foreign account. Sell what we need to use back home and wire directly into Nigerian account and dispense using bank apps, internet banking etc |
I do not have any bitter ex. I make sure I set the boundaries from get go. I’m very assertive and sweet at the same time. I no see any of my ex wey I no fit doke again if I really want to regardless of being married just so you know how totally in charge I was. I relate normal with all but avoid the ones still pushing for sexual benefits regardless of their present status. I think it’s childish to become enemies because of parting ways though this is also subjective and dependent on the reason for ending things. |
MrJames007:honestly, thank God it has been overturned |
Stupid contact for no reason |
To be very honest with you. Earning in hard currency and living in Nigeria is one of the best opportunities you can get in this life. If you’re not living lavishly you can actually save big to do bigger things. The odd is the insecurity but you can at least stay in a relatively safe location while also developing yourself to earn more remotely. I live on averagely £2.5 monthly in the Uk just on the basics and nothing extravagant. Imaging having to save even if it’s 50% of that. You can as well relocate if you’re considering your children and setting the background for them to be citizens of better developed nations. The ball is in your court my guy |
tensazangetsu20:That’s a lie. I left a private firm to join the consulate years back before eventually leaving the country. I met off lot of guys on the job who got in strictly on merit. The process most times could be long and tiring but it’s worth it. |
This na total annihilation of Madrid. Chaiiiiii |
Ekemeze:Well it has been doubled now. Walk over game for Mancity. Their pace is unmatched for Madrid |
Man City is in the final ![]() |
esanmantruth:You should visit at least and the records are there in terms of revenue generation which is the crux of the matter now. Stay on lane please |
I think Osho baba remains the best so far for Edo state since return to democracy in 1999. Those with campaign of calumny chanting Edo no be Lagos no go near this thread now. The country isn’t perfect but we shouldn’t be blind to the obvious truth |
