Treasury Bills have been stopped for a few weeks now. The last time I bought was late December. Tried buying again few weeks ago and was told it was no longer available for individuals who have less than 150million to invest. Access and First Bank gave same information.

Tbills is still very much available, got in the primary market 2weeks ago with GTB, 182days. The rates are low but it doesn't mean it is not open as before, except the bank(s) lost the bid in primary market.

Good day, anyone with info on today's auction?

Got 6.5% for 225days from GTB secondary market today.

It seems GTbank is not even ready to participate in NTB again, 2 primary market auction without success and account officer daily saying no secondary market, may have to port to another bank.

I am an ardent follower of this thread and shouldn't be asking this question. I've been using First Bank for TBILLS mostly in secondary market.

First Bank is having issues with TBILLS so I decided to try GTBank however, I invested in primary market yesterday but till now I haven't been debited.

I don't know if I should call my account officer or if that's what is obtainable for GT customers.

You don't have to call them, your account will be debited tomorrow with the exemption of your interest. That is how GTB works.

You can do it daily (for secondary) if you like except when there is no offer.

I will like to how many Tbills can one do using the same account in a particular period of time. I.e can one do multiple Tbills with the same account starting at different days. E.g. I did one 2 months ago for 182 days and I'm hoping I can do another one this month.

This is a gud development, other (major) manufacturers should look into doing this too. customers can make a choice for d one they like.
