I and about 20* other friends, registered for the last edition of the training, a six-weeks training involving daily prayers at midnight, in the morning, daily Bible review and explicit teaching on leadership and discipleship every Saturday morning. It wasn't easy but with God's help and that of the facilitators, we caught fire through it.

I just came across a story now of how a Nigerian Nurse dumped her Naija Boy friend the moment she settled abroad.

Note that the guy has helped with over a million naira to assist her in relocating to the UK.

Her reason for quitting the relationship is that the guy is no longer attracted to her and she needed to focus on her career too.


What do you all think is wrong?

If you were to be in the guy's shoes, what would you have done?

I observed that post people don't seek for medical care on time. They rather prefer to use over the counter drugs , herbal concoctions or do nothing until they become helpless that someone had to rush them to the hospital. It ought not to be so, prevention should be the first on our list at all time.

I am still trying to figure out why people don't seek medical care early and had to wait until their health condition deteriorate.

I believe anger is part of our daily life either directly or indirectly. At times we get angry at unpleasant situations just to ensure such does not repeat itself.

Here is my experience few days ago.

A client has been on my neck for help but I kept telling him I was busy and so could not just help him. Ideally, there is someone in charge of what he needed help for but the person was not forthcoming but because he felt I could help, he kept disturbing me.

I finally agreed to help, so after I had stressed myself to get what he wanted , I discovered he didn't even have the complete requirements to make the whole thing work out. I immediately expressed my dissappointment angrily and left to look for an alternative so that my effort won't be in vain. After doing a lot of searching, I finally got an alternative..

He actually felt bad and almost fainted that I even became sacred and had to apologise oo.

It was a scary thing to behold....

Dear Youth, give due attention to your health!

The rate at which youth die of Hypertension, Kidney diseases and the likes is becoming alarming. I know some would be surprised to know these diseases also affect the youth, please, don't be surprised oooo. All you just need to do now is to attach more importance to your health and avoid things that predispose you to these disease conditions.

Here are few things you must always remember to do:

Eat healthy.
Drink Healthy, stop that excessive intake of alcohol and herbal concoctions, they are doing your body systems more harm than good.
Stop that drug abuse.
Drink more water.
Give yourself adequate rest.
Go for routine medical check up, don't wait until things become worse before seeking health care.

I love to attend parties when invited just for the fun of it.I don't really get upset if I was served food or not because I didn't attend majorly because of the food.

I do hear people complain that they were not served in parties, while some were not really served, some were served but maybe they were not satisfied and there was no chance of getting extra...

After reading the news on the plan of ASUU to embark on one month strike, have been thinking of who is actually responsible for the incessant strike in our institutions. I can't imagine spending 7 years on a course of 4 years and holding on some other major life plans just for career progression.It's really frustrating!
I personally believe it's more of the Federal Government fault not that of ASUU.

What do you all think and why?

Nigerian students deserve nothing but the best.
Nigerian Lecturers too deserve the best treatment.

I wonder why FG finds it difficult to accede to the demands of ASUU.

I have heard people say different things about communication in Relationship. Does it really matter how often you communicate with your partner or intending partner? Or you just flow with whatever happens in the relationship.
