DrMB: 1.38 million Nigerians registered online to vote in just one week. But why did Osun, not Lagos, top the chart with 393,269 sign-ups? Is this a sign of rising political consciousness in unexpected places? Or does it expose regional gaps in mobilization and digital access? And with some states like Enugu (484) and Imo (481) trailing far behind, what explains the sharp contrasts, apathy, technology barriers, or political disillusionment?

In what will come across as a really shocking development, a Thai woman known as Seeka Golf, has left many people completely stunned after it was discovered that she seduced and slept with over 20 Buddhist monks.
Thai police have arrested the woman who allegedly had sexual relations with monks, and then used photos and videos of the acts to extort money from them.
The woman, who police are calling "Ms Golf", had sex with the monks, police said at a press conference on Tuesday. They believe she received around 385 million baht ($11.9m; £8.8m) over the past three years.
Investigators who searched her house found more than 80,000 photos and videos used to blackmail the monks, the police spokesman said.
This scandal is the latest to rock Thailand's much revered Buddhist institution, which in recent years has been plagued with allegations of monks engaging in sex offences and drug trafficking.

The Federal Government of Nigeria has made insurance on buildings compulsory, a move that many citizens believe will further increase house rents.
Critics argue that the policy adds to the growing tax burden on Nigerians, with some accusing the government of stifling the poor instead of providing relief.
Why don't the government rather start building houses for citizens in other to checkmate the sharp practises by some landlord.
Nnamdipapa: Ok, today I was out to do an oil change and decided to branch by my favorite Afghani store where I usually buy provisions when in the vicinity. Now, I came across an organic crate of egg for $16.99, 30 medium sized eggs in a crate. Now, I remembered I spoke with a friend in Lagos last week who priced a similar crate of egg at 6000Naira, Yes ! you heard me right! 6000Naira! Folks in Nigeria do not know how good they have it Living in Nigeria so next time you complain about Nigeria, remember a fresh organic crate of egg goes for N6000 and things are way cheaper in Nigeria compared to the western countries.
So, there is something that should make one happy living in Nigeria I am waiting on pins and needles for the minimum wage crew.
Of course, the minimum wage crew will come for you because Minimum Wage & The Purchasing Power of the people is a very important factor when you talk about purchasing an item. The main question is "How many people can afford the crate of egg?"
