You are grossly ignorant and clannish.

Do you know how long those Lagos miscreants and destitutes that were cleared from under the bridges and streets were kept under state government care and rehabilitation before they were sent back to their declared states of origin?

Do you know that Northerners and fellow Yorubas were already sent back to their own states before the Igbo miscreants faced the same fate?

Do you know that Lagos state did not begin such action among state governments, and that even Anambra under the complaining Peter Obi regime had employed same tactics before Lagos did?

Do you know that Lagos had already established communication with Anambra government, regarding the eventual relocation of those miscreants back to the SouthEast, before Anambra government later began playing hide and sick to avoid its own responsibility?
You are barking for no good a reason. The point here is that Lagos state government dumped and abandoned citizens of Nigeria under a bridge without any handover arrangements. Anambra state under Peter Obi reunited then with their families across eastern Nigeria. However, I dont expect to make a sensible comment because you have been blinded by hatred and bigotry.

If Lagos state government truly did their investigation like they claim how come it took Anambra state government few hour to determine 90% of the destitutes weren't from Anambra. And ,if its indeed true they were rehabilitated how come upon contact they all look malnourished and sickened. This Lagos wey dey shack una for body will probably do you in one day!! Treat people however you care but posterity will judge you. This is internet age,ma nigga!

The flatheaad miscreants were even lucky it wasn't someone like me. Fashola was too merciful.

I would have donated them to medical schools for dissection or thrown them into the lagoon.

They are our slaves and if not productive - you discard.
You should be in mental asylum. You are unfit to live among human beings.

The people that called themselves binis now are not bini
The so called Benin is part of the land of Ogodomigodo which the onitsha people and Oguta people are part of
Even the so called Igbo
I am not too interested in that Igodomigodo stuff, all we know is that at NO point was Onicha people Edoid/Bini/Igodomigodo or anything NON Igbo. They have always been Igbo through and through except if Edo was once an Igbo subgroup who merged with another ethnic group and lost their language. Onicha has no trace of Bini ancestry.....NON, ma nigga!

Stop saying what you don't know...you are only taking sides cause you are an easterner...they were rehabilitated, they contacted the anambra state government and even there liaison office in victoria island with no response, they were 14 and not 72...Lagos state govt even brought out proof to back their claims..
https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/142097-lagos-sent-home-14-destitute-people-says-fashola.html?amp_markup=1
First of all , out of all the "deported" either one or two were from Anambra ,the rest were from Akwaibom,Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo. But, assuming you actually contacted Anambra state government and you didn't get a response you have no right nor power to move citizens of Nigeria to a random location and abandoned them there! You are supposed to actually find out were they are from and make concrete effort to reunite them with their families. And if you couldn't fetch a useful information you must keep them until you resolve the problem.

Anambra State Government Bans Street Trading And Hawking In All Streets, Major Roads And Highways.

Anambra State Government has banned every form of street trading and hawking in all streets, major roads and highways in the state.

This ban is to enhance easy flow of traffic, improve environmental sanitation and aesthetics.

Anyone caught flouting this ban will be prosecuted.

Let us support the efforts of the State Government towards promoting a socially stable and sustainable environment.

Announcer:
Christian C.Madubuko (PhD)
Anambra State Commissioner for Trade & Commerce
Let me break this down.

The issue with these roadside obstructions is there is no tough penalty to discourage people from breaking the law. For instance, if there is a law that says if you are caught packing on an illegal section of the road you will serve up to six months in jail and pay 200,000 in addition people will learn fast. If you like form a million man man task force nothing will change without a stiff penalty and adherence to it.

The average Nigerian has no respect for the rule of law because he doesn't see the reason obey them. They need to be sensitized thoroughly and follow it up with actions like penalizing violators severely.

Following international best practice, the mentally challenged among the individuals removed from the streets were immediately moved to Nteje Home for the mentally challenged, where they will be rehabilitated and reunited with their families. While the beggars who were apprehended seeking alms using under age children will be rehabilitated and returned to their home states.

Lalasticlala
Nice gesture... But wasn't this the same thing fashola did that they screamed heaven on earth and claimed deportation.
First of, Fashola abused Nigerians in their own country by telling them to go back to their villages. Secondly, he didn't rehabilitate the mentally sick after picking them up.Rather, he rounded them up ,drove them down to upper Iweka and dumped them under the bridge in the dead of the night. How is that similar to what Obiano is doing ?

What the hell is some people throw away their baptismal names? The so-called baptismal names are other people's cultural names.
This is what you get when you can't separate Christianity - the way of life of Christ from obeying religious doctrines.

These have nothing to do with Christ.

Its good that these investments exist and more are coming but I have a very serious question to ask the government and the company owners. How much are the workers being paid? Do they have insurance ? And the big one, are these companies paying their taxes and as when due??

See, I dont mind people building factories across the state but what I care about is what its benefits the Anambra man. I have had stories of these companies paying their workers 10,000 naira and what not, while they make billions yearly. They work their employees to the bone and pay little to nothing into the state coffers. I dont want to be involved into celebration of individuals who are making billions at the expense of my father's land and her children.

Nwa Okodu, kenelu.

You're quite funny Bro Priest. I've known you for long on Nairaland and you still remains myopic. Your greatest cultural aim is a monolithic Anambra while mine and other visionaries have ours in the great Igbo nation. You are not different from the clueless government of those states you mentioned earlier who acted stupidly in dismissing Igbos from government jobs in Igboland. Your goal in trying to segregate and propagate a superior Anambra is driving a wedge in our wheel of oneness. This you have consistently failed to see. Ojukwu of blessed memory was a very wise man. He lived all his life in Enugwu despite being from Anambra. Do you know why he did so? Guys like you that brag with their states fail to see that they can't grow with such mindset. As for me, as long as my feet is on any part of Igboland, I see it as home.
As for calling Umunze migrants, I laugh at your ignorance. All parts of Anambra have people who came from other parts of Igboland to settle in their midst. The Awka people have Ama-obia. Aro settlers litter Southern Anambra. The omambala area have Igala invaders yet today we are all Igbos. This is what you fail to understand. Cultural infuences happen everywhere and it's a two way thing. When Anambra state was being created no special criteria was used but as the state emerged, her constituent communities started gravitating towards a common identity with additions and subtraction of customs, nothing more.
As for eating Eke, we do proudly eat them same as Awka people would do to any python that goes beyond her border. Some parts of Umunze weren't eating them in the days of old as I was told but after some events, we as a community decide they were worthy of consumption and that's our stand till date. Speak of what you know.
For Nkpokiti, I'm always ready. Come join me during our Ihejioku. O ga di kpokpo.
I will come back and address this post adequately but let me clear one this....
Awka DO NOT EAT EKE! We have them here and I will bring it to their attention!

Most patriotic are Edo people. A typical Edo man never fails to teach his wards about his Edo Origin, the language, the history of the Benin kingdom, what it takes to be a Benin man(ethics and norms), the obas and most importantly Osalobua. Whenever a player of dual nationality pops up, I first of all, check his origin, if it was Edo, I always have this strong conviction that the player would turn out for the GWG. Same cant be said of their Igbo and Yoruba counterparts who always try to be more Western than the westerners demselves.

Bookmark this post, Uduokhai will soon thread Same path as other Edo guys like Osaze, Vicmo, Ebuehi et al.

About Gozie (Gozzi) Iweru, I do hope we get him sha. Another guy from Italy we should go for is Caleb Okoli of Atalanta.
This is not true. Edo people, especially the Bini rarely speak the language. Even some born in the state.
As for the Igbo, it's pathetic. And this is coming from a G who is deep rooted in Igbo culture. I think the Biafran war has a lot to do with it.

Nna, you always have my respect. The Nze cult is actually an old one that's found almost all over Igboland. Some retained it while others did away with it but local names attests to its existence there. Umunze where I hail from is one of such and I've seen another Umunze somewhere around Abia but it seemed a clan name rather than a community or town. Our former Igwe as I heard once responded to the question of us not having the Ozo titleship by telling them that being the Children of an Nze already placed us above Ozo title holders. You see how customs change from area to area among our republican people. This same thing I believe is the reason behind our lack of Kings in most communities of old.
I want to ask you a question which is a little off this topic. Do you know extent of Obi Ossai's authority in the old Ukwuani territory? I'm surprised a lot of present day Ukwuanis don't know about him.
This post is both funny and embarrassing.

The truth is that most Igbos dont know their history and care either. They trifle with their culture and you hardly come across a young Igbo person who respects Igbo culture and history. 99% of Igbos never ask questions about their culture except the historians. This is why a grown man said Enugwu Ukwu is the Okpala Nri. Its ffucking annoying. I am not here to call people names but I will fight down with reasonable facts. You can never win!! You are the clueless one. Pazienza is 100% correct. There's nothing like Anambra culture anything short of Pan-Igbo association, you are entirely on your own. A lot of groups from Southern Anambra have quite distinct customs and idiosyncrasies from those from the Omambala areas. Stop dividing Ndigbo with a puerile superiority complex. Ndigbo though with divers origins are today a homogeneous people. Anything outside that you are on your own.
Dont start a conversation with insults ,if you want to have a civil discussion. Now ,you can point out the distinction or better not say a thing. Ihiala, is one of the southern towns in Anambra but they have the Ozo system. However, according to you ,your king said you dont have it but just for the single reason that your name starts with Nze makes you superior over those thats practices it....Onwero ife Nwa Okodu ama anu! Does this even make sense to you??

Now, how am I dividing Ndigbo ? Please, answer that question. How ?
When Enugu state government after state creation sacked all Anambra state workers were was Igbo unity?? When Abia was sacking civil servants not from Abia where was Igbo unity?? When Jim Nwobodo sabotaged Alex Ekwueme Presidential aspiration where was Igbo unity?? When Rochas betrayed Peter Obi and insulted Anambra state government where was Igbo unityhuh When Obiano hosted burial ceremony for all the fallen Biafran soldiers and not a single south east governor showed up where was Igbo unity??

Oga, go through my post history and respectfully respect yourself. I dont have time for your failed Igbo agenda but I am from Anambra through and through and I will defend and fight for advancement of my fathers land and culture.

For the fact you dont have Nze na Ozo is not the end of the world. Be proud of who you are and stop telling stupidd lies like somegirl and mbos. Igbo is not homogeneous and can never be because there are part of Igbo land that eat python snake and the true Anambra people with the pure culture will not dine with such people. You lots cant break what we are building in Anambra, you will die before you achieve that!

Now, go put on some costumes and dance Nkpokiti...I like Atilogwu!
