@forgiveness there was never a time I said Onigbinde's tribe will never coach the national team. All I said was that people like Onigbinde who is obviously tribalistic just like you will never coach the national team because we know better.

Finally,its obvious we lacked experience on that day. We had no team but bunch of good individual players..We miss Ikeme,Mikel,Moses and Balogun. If these guys were there the outcome could have been better.

Onazi is not a leader,simple. He couldn't organize the younger player but I like his work rate .
Awaziem was woeful and just like I said before.....To be a man is not a day job. Just can't just throw players around in the defense....ITS DANGEROUS!

Troost is an average player ,without Balogun he is dead.

Iheanacho had no impact in the attack...Never a threat and this may be because he didn't have much communication with the collapsed midfield.
Etebo had no coordination...Etebo IS NOT AN ATTACKING MIDFIELDER! He will be better used as a support striker.
Nigeria played with out purpose and no leader. Ndidi was just everywhere roaming like he didn't know his capabilities...He is not an attacking midfielder. It takes a lot to be an attacking midfielder. Playing good passes is not enough.
Iwobi should have played a 10.
Iheanacho should play behind a strike just like I suggested with Etebo. He is a fantastic build up player.

I just finished watching the second half of the encounter with South Africa for the second time ,and boy were we disorganized and visionless. There was no real threat to their 18 yard box. Ndidi was playing attacking role and forgot his primary duty. Iwobi was absent in that game. Simon last ball is never threatening even after the dribbles.

How can you play Onazi as a central Midfielder. Dude can barely pass a dann ball. As of Musa any slip and I am done with him. Omeruo better keep it neat and tight.

But as a coach you base your substitutions on the way the game is going and also how you want to finish the game . For eg we cannot be looking for a goal and you remove Iheanacho for Kayode. And we may be leading and need to see off the game and you remove Onazi and bring in Musa?

Plus also, any player may lose steam or get injured and that will also necessitate a substitution.


BTW how come no one has mentioned Tyrone Ebuehi on his starting line up?

The way that boy was hyped here it was as though they were already reserving that RB position for him.

Ebuehi has not played enough to receive proper assessment. Right now ,he is majorly unknown.
My proposed substitution is based on everything being equal,if things go according to plan. For instance,Nigeria is leading and every player is doing well.
Honestly,I am losing interest in Onazi,Musa and Omeruo better not fail me...lol

All of a sudden Awaziem,Osimhen have disappeared from the news. Where are them who think Awaziem will displace Omeruo...To be a man is not a day job.
