safarigirl: Disclaimer:
I don't know where Omanbala got the erroneous idea that I'm a feminist and/or a lesbian, but I would like to state that there is no truth to either.
Firstly, I am no feminist. Nuff said
Secondly, anyone who has followed my posts on this thread would know that I love boys men, preferably the ones who look like Awaziem, Troost-Ekong or John Ogu, I will consider those who look like Iwobi, Kelechi or Ebuehi, I will NOT take a second glance at the likes of Musa, Kayode and Onyekuru ....your bank statement is inconsequential in my decision, but your brain matter is highly regarded, once again, anyone who knows me here knows that I don't suffer fools
Once again, I hereby refute the claims of Omanbala and ask that you disregard such crazy notions.
Cc Icon79, Icon4s, joseph1013, joebie, thesupernerd, thegoodjoe and all relevant persons Nne but I never said you are a LESBIAN naa. I just sense some Chimamanda-ism in you... If you know what that means...lol. You always point out your sex and how guys on this thread try to intimidate you, which shows hints oIf f feminism. I almost thought you were aggressive I guess I was wrong. Nne,but what is wrong with Onyekuru and Kayode? Are they too skinny or what? Well,it may interest you to know you have a lot of admirers here. So,instead of searching for what you might not find why not you do the needful.... |

tbaba1234: Gascoigne, Mcmanaman, Rooney, Gerrard, Lamar, Beckham.. Are these guys technically deficient? Again,"most" and not all. Beckham,Mcmanaman, and Lampard have one thing in common...long passes. A typical English style. Rooney and Gerrard are the exceptions. |

Joebie: "Technical. A technical player is a master of the techniques of the game (passing, trapping, shooting, dribbling, tackling the ball.) He has excellent touch, precise control, a fast work-rate of touches on the ball, and uses all sorts of body surfaces or edges."
Source: top contributor on quora.
Are you saying England kills this aspect in a player?
MODIFIED Also how would you rate current SE midfielders going by the above definition? Let me make it simple...MOST English players are not crafty, since technique has taken another meaning. They are too direct and simple, lacks invention and innovation. We call it police football. |

Joebie: Iwobi was groomed in England. Okay you are making a generalization. But the players in question are England-groomed Nigerians. We can focus on them. Does Lookman and Ejaria lack technical ability? Again ,Iwobi started playing football in Nigeria. He was greatly influenced by our style. Ejaria is over hyped,he dribbles in circles without a clear vision....Kelechi Nwakali is way ahead of him. Most English players are technically deficient. I haven't seen Lookman play. |

Joebie: Ok technical. So Iwobi lacks technical abilities. Many eyes are seeing you oh. Abi u want more examples? Iwobi started playing soccer in Nigeria before he moved to England and he was mostly influenced by Nigeria style of play which you can see when he handles the ball... The guy node play English boring police football. And remember, I never said all English players lack technical abilities. |

adrainuche: Why not he would definately start ahead of umeruo i read their partnership in camp Ekong and Awaziem has been superb ... So Rohr wouldnt want to destroy such partnership anyway ... Its good for CB to get good chem if u see that all their training games the coach has paired them together all the time... I have given my observations and takes its left for the coach to decide who to play. If I was the coach I would not start Awaziem in a high profile qualifier like against Cameroon just yet. |

adrainuche: Ebuehi is not starting in the RB position and Umeruo is not a very good CB... Awaziem has proved he is good enough to replace balogun, we will find out tomorrow i predict the defense is going to be..
Shehu/Umeruo(RB) Ekong(CB) Awaziem(CB) Echijele (LB) You can not conclude with one low profile friendly match that Awaziem can be trusted. He definitely needs more assessment before he can get the pass. Not like I am sold on Omeruo but half bread is better than none. Awaziem is inexperienced and starting him in a crucial game will amount to risk taking. |

Joebie: Zambia win 4-3. Goodbye Iyoha and Torunarigha. I want Zambia to win the cup. If England wins, the likes of Ejaria will think they made a good decision. So I'm praying for them to fail next. haha.. Lookman have a rethink. Honestly,we have young stars who can easily best Ejaria. Let him follow his heart...I no kukuma like English groomed players, they mostly lack technical abilities. Reason why England hasn't been able to win common coffee cup in decades. |

EmeritusMbaM: Sit in your erosion ravaged beastland and be asking for dumb question. You Anambla people have no shame, your drunk governor is using your money to buy beer while he toss few change for jobless troll like you to sing his praise online. Pathetic You don't sound very smart. Without being a governor Obiano will still drink expensive champagne. He was a fulfilled and a wealthy man before he became a governor. But infrastructure wise Anambra I think is ahead of Ogun but my problem is that shouldn't be so. Ogun makes like 5 times what Anambra makes in a month yet they are behind in infrastructure. At least ,I agree Ogun is making more in IGR and we all know why but why are they behind in infrastructure. It simply shows the ineptitude of your leaders. Anambra is around 2 billion a month while Ogun rakes over 10 billion yet nothing to show for it. A typical example of a failed state just like Nigeria with all the oil money yet nothing to write home about. Finally, erosion is a natural disaster and the governor is working round the clock to fix the problem...The hate in your heart will never let you reason like a normal human being. |

Kog45: Hmmmm first it was Ndidi now Agu,u guys forgot that Onazi has paid his due in d national team and still a force to reckon with
Do u guys think it's easy for Rohr to accommodate Onazi and Ndidi in his starring line up.Agu w go extra mile to break into that team coz Onazi is already there,Ndidi an emerging star,Etebo a workaholic. I am not saying Onazi has been displaced but he is sitting on a thin ice. As it stands now neither Ndidi nor Karo can be benched ...Ndidi is shooting for world class while Karo the workhorse don't seem to be stopping anytime soon ,which will make Onazi the weakest link while Agu lurks around for a slip. I like Onazi fighting spirit, he reminds me of Olofinjana with better ball sense but Onazi is not a baller. After that performance against Argentina at the last world cup before he got injured Onazi has never remained the same. Dude, took a dip in form. And this doesn't only apply to Onazi,Omeruo needs to sit up,Musa has already been relegated to the bench and Echiejile might not be lucky for too long...hehe. And if Iwobi can anchor that attacking midfield role then Mike might not be so safe....hehe . I don talk my own ooo |

Mickael2: thank you for that statement. I get it now, it's just your opinion although you know that factually it is false, I mean this is Mbappe's first full season as a pro, Iheanacho's own was last season and there still isn't any comparison except if you consider game time because both of them played almost the same number of minutes Just like your statement about Mbappe being better than Iheanacho is your on personal opinion without facts. I hate going back and forth but Mbappe has played more minutes than Iheanacho and he is a French man playing on home turf with the support of his country. This is common sense. Iheanacho can't become the world best from the bench or drilling field. |

Mickael2: the hype in this comment is absurd. Even Mbappe and french fans would be weary of making such comments about their (well let's be honest) more talented lad. The way nigerians hype their own makes you wonder I don't believe and I will never accept that Mbappe is more talented than Nacho. Mbappe is a French man with all the support and opportunities to excel placed on a platter of gold for him on his home land. And what has Kelechi got,no even a place in Pep Guadiolas bench and you expect him to shine. Guy,chill out. Pep Guadiola made sure he ripped Kelechi of any little confidence left in him. |

Mickael2: I take issues with this comment. However, let me not start an issue but for the record, Igbos are hardly ever tribalistic, taking pride in your achievements isn't close to tribalism at all, don't base your judgement on some rag-tag youths jumping round the internet Guy,there are tribalistic people in every tribe. And those "rag-tag" youths are Igbos engaging in tribal hate and feud just like Forgiveness and his fellow Yoruba team of hate mongers. There is something mentally sick about a person who maltreat another man or denies a man what belongs to him just because he is different. Look at how screwed up Nigeria is and people have time to be spewing hate and spreading bigotry. |

komekn: In my opinion no comparison at all.
Onyekuru is a lightweight player with freedom to express himself in a low level team.
He doesn't have anywhere near the physical strength and tenacity that Victor has. Onyekuru will have to learn team structured discipline and increase his vision, situational awareness so he can contribute positively to the team. Well, you went more in-depth with that one. But we are somehow saying the same thing, which is that Onyekuru hasn't arrived yet. Dude is selfish and short sighted |
