sugah: It's like a drilling pain above my pelvis and higher up At my last scan they were more than 7 located in different parts but the biggest is just over 3cm so it's small....I wasn't expecting any pains from it that's why I'm asking to be sure it's not the fibroids causing the pain. I've taken pcm and I feel better now... hopefully it stays that way.
Thanks a lot Thank God you feel better. You'll be fine and safe, as well as your baby. #SupernaturalDelivery to us all |

sugah: Hi Neile good morning. How's your baby girl doing? Please I want to ask, are you able to describe the pain you felt with the fibroids? I've been in pain since yesterday but it's the sort of pain I get when I've inadvertently starved myself .so I've been stuffing my face full of food but it's still persistent now I'm wondering if it's the fibroids causing the pain.
Any other mama that experienced pains with fibroids as baby was growing should please help out. Which area is the pain? Because it will depend on the area the fibrous growth is at. Mine was between the right side of the pelvic and pubic bone. I couldn't maintain a posture for long without feeling the excruciating pain. I couldn't stand very upright cos something around there was pulling me down. Sleeping was very difficult too. It was a scan that revealed it was the fibroid after complaint. I'm now feeling no pain at all. As the baby grows the pain subsided. I suggest you complain at the hospital. |

Pinkandpurple: Thank you ma! No it didn't, as my baby grew bigger in the womb, he was able to supress the fibriod, and it shrink before delivery (according to my doctor). That's good to know |
Health › Re: Pregnancy Are You Pregnant Or Going Through A High Risk Pregnancy,,lets Talk by Omariah(f): 10:15pm On Jul 21, 2020 |
Pinkandpurple: BS! BS!! BS!!! After doing the baby dance at the peak of my ovulation first week of November,I started looking for period two weeks later I no see. Three weeks into my search I decided to get the test stripes and behold it was positive. Happy was an understatement because that was our first attempt when we decided that we want to be parents and from my calculations I believed I would have a boy. Everything went smoothly, MS had the better part of my first trimester, then came the 18weeks.... I woke up one morning to this excruciating pain when I wanted to pee, I couldn't even explain where the pain was coming from, I just knew it held my waist and releases it. By day break I went to the hospital and was given drugs yet no relieve, the bad part of it was the drug they gave me was to stop contractions, the doctor did not understand what it was, it was the third hospital that I met a gynaecologist who after series of scan and test told me I had fibriod and that was the cause of the pain but that it was not threatening and my baby would suppress it with time.... Second and third trimester went smoothly, more like I had a guardian angel inside me, no sickness at all. Fast forward to 39weeks, I woke up to little period like contractions after dancing my heart out like David danced the previous night. I told DH that this might be it so we started monitoring the progress. Later in the afternoon it stopped, I started dancing again this time twice as I did the previous night by 7pm the main contractions started by 9pm we were at the hospital. I was checked and told I was only 3cm dialated (what!!!, after putting this your big hand, can I get a slimmer doctor please). To cut long story short, 11/7 went by nd baby was still gathering hair( oh God, my boy is very hairy, and looks like a girl), 12/7 came and I did the exercise of my life, I climbed stairs, danced, walk, ran, jog, squats just name it but labor was progressing at a very slow stage... By 9:45pm I felt something burst and my water rushed out, at this point I knew my prince was ready but I wasn't ready for the pain that follows next, I was literally running mad. DH was confused (at a point in time when he was rubbing my back I told him his hands were too strong and he should use the back of his palms, I suffered the young man) but thank God for my younger sister, she was the giant there, she said sorry a million times lol.. The nurse there told me that if I feel the urge to poo I should call them, thirty minutes later I felt the urge to poo and was taken to the delivery room immediately. First push, the nurse now said "madam, you are not pushing ooo(are you ok ma, what does it look like I'm doing?). Second push I held the nurse and almost tore her uniform, the third push (oh God!!!) I used all the energy I have been saving since I was born and then my love slipped out crying his heart out, the whole hospital heard his voice because it was very loud. That instant I'm sure I said "Thank you Jesus 1000times". My baby was cleaned and taken to DH, while the tears I had was been stitched. 1hour later I was taken to the ward and I found DH already fast asleep with his son, I cried...... May we all experience the joy of motherhood in Jesus name, AMEN!!! BS finally submitted.
Cc: EloWChi Congratulations to you mama. May your bundle of joy never turn to sadness. One question. How about the fibroid? Did it pose any challenge for VD? Kisses to your LO. |

shawylux: Hey mama.
How are you feeling now? Hope the pain has subsided. If it hasn't please get yourself checked at the hospital to avoid stories. Round ligaments pain as I heard aren't meant to be painful. Just report to your doctor if you continue experiencing pain. It's still there. Thanks mama. I'll get checked |

Good morning Sabi mamas and all my belleful people. Trust we're having a great bumping period.
Abeg let everyone who's knowledgeable in this chook mouth for this matter.
I'm a FTM, 20wks 5days according to LMP. Since yesterday I've been having some sort of pain in the lower abdomen (on the pelvis close to the jajaina). Like something is chooking me there. Doesn't feel like round ligament pain either (or does it last longer than a few secs?). There's no other symptoms accompanying it. And my appointment is not until next week Wednesday. This pain has also disrupted my sleep since 3am.
Please what can I do? Is this normal at all? I await our responses. Ese
Wishing all of us a safe and healthy delivery. #NoLoss #NoComplications #HealthyBabyHealthyMom |

cheeketo: And the November team keep growing every day, welcome mama, Like someone said it might be due to placenta position, and as a first time mum, you might be having movements and not know it. Thank you Mama |

Alright. Thanks so much. sweetlady4real: As a first time mum, you may not feel baby's movement until 20 to 24 weeks. Also if the position of the placenta is anterior, it also prevents one from feeling baby's movement earlier. Other sabi mamas will still contribute.
Welcome here and enjoy your stay, wishing you happy bumping and a Supernatural Delivery. |
