The Nigerian authorities did not “fly” the Libyans anywhere. When you charter a flight, you dictate the destination and route. The Libyans chose PHC airport instead of Uyo airport for reasons best known to them just as the Nigerians chose Benghazi airport but in our own case, our chartered plane was DIVERTED to another smaller airport.

Even with their error in airports, a plane was offered to take them to Uyo but they refused to pay for it (again, for reasons best known to them) and a Marcopolo bus was procured for them. In the Nigerian teams case, some “danfo” buses were gotten for a 200-300km journey which will affect the knees of tall players like Troost Ekong.

So it’s evident that their “payback” was not valid as the error was theirs in the first place

Op, riding a bike especially a SuperBike isn’t something you learn by the roadside like you do with a car. It takes proper training and practice before you hit the road. You also should follow the AGATT rule. All Gears (kits) All The Time. You should always dress up for the crash and not for the party. Some of us have been riding for over 20 years and have never gotten an accident as we’re always cautious. Riding is like playing chess. You have to anticipate 5 moves ahead and ride accordingly. In all honesty, the promotion of Igwe was a bittersweet moment. Bitter because we lost a Gallant CP. A CP who wields a rifle and enters bushes to chase out criminals unlike his mates who sit down in the office enjoying AC and sweet because it’s a career growth. Let’s see what this one will do.
