I leave and work currently in Maiduguri, whoever says the attack are like before is a big fat liar.Granted there are pockets of violence here and there but its nothing serious. example was an attack at the communication mast at a village in yobe (can't mention the name for security reasons) the BH guys blew it up,I was around the locality as I was supposed to do the installation. Believe it or not the Army nabbed the guys before they could move more than 100km. I repeat sanity has returned to the region, although it would still take a long time before everything comes back to normal its way way better than what it was.
cheesy Let them keep lying to themselves. It is obvious they hurt so badly from the conquest of the NA against those killers. cheesy

Death is all they pray for, death we shall not see. One of them even shamelessly came here the other day saying "honestly, I get excited when BH kills those useless soldiers". Are those the people you expect to admit Nigeria is winning the war??

Interesting at the quotation marks in your post.
There are few individuals(staffs of mine) who are indigenous Bornu residents, daily they in communication with their wives and children. They complain, most times bitterly, of the attacks of Boko Haram in their communities and the cover-up of the Army. When we discuss after day's work, we pity and sympathize with them. There are those with good heart.

WHEN YOU LIE LIKE THIS, without confirmation if some individuals who know people who reside there read your post, they will curse you.
Be careful.
Coincidentally, I have a friend, in fact, just about my closest friend right now, who's from Maiduguri. Decided to ask him two days ago about the true picture of things in Bornu to which he answered talking about fuel. cheesy Then I told him I wasn't referring to that but Boko Haram and he said they have largely been defeated but pockets of resistance still remains here and there (which is normal with all such wars).

I asked him not because I doubt the things I read in the papers but because he's on ground and works there. Took off with his family in 2012 but they are back home.

Now tell me, can you say my friend was lying and all the accounts we've been reading on paper, the rescues, the bombardments, the victories, the deaths of the terrorists, bombs no longer going off every couple of days, the opening of their airport, playing a football match, etc, are all LIES??

How could any sane human being say there's been an escalation in BH activities?? Haba. That lie is simply preposterous. cheesy

Baba is simply messing with fire and if care is not taken, he'll get burnt badly.

What the hell is he keeping some of these remnants of PDP in office for? They are there for one thing and one thing only- carry out orders from Wadata Plaza!! They are the proverbial weavels inside our beans.

Baba, take a second to read a few lines in the 48 Laws of Power: when you defeat an enemy, CRUSH HIM COMPLETELY making sure he NEVER rises again!

In the Casino, De Niro narrated somthing about his friend's character: when you beat Frankie with a fist, he comes back with a bat. When you beat him with a knife, he comes back with a gun. When you beat him with a gun, you better kill him, because he'll keep coming back until one of you is DEAD!

That is the nature of PDP. If you don't crush them completely, they'd keep coming back until either you kill them or they kill you!

A word is enough for the wise Baba.

2. Abati again posted pictures of roads constructed in Younde Cameroon as some of the roads constructed by the FG!!

3. Even the so called Omokiri was caught impersonating someone on twitter. Remember Wendell Simlin saga??

Contrarily, you're predictable.

Atleast you appreciate omenka's effort in taking time to read through the article, in your case everything against Nigeria must be true. Like the lie about the phantom $2.1b aid which am pretty sure you just skimmed through without understanding how much of a gargantuan baloney the claim was.
I haven't the slightest doubt in my mind the author of the article doesn't even know who Shekau is. Someone paid for this trash, faxed him exactly what they want published and they published it verbatim! Just look at the lies and the language- doesn't sound anything like a Brit speaking!

This is just in keeping faith with their childish propaganda of hoping to give some tinge of credibility to their lies by throwing some white man in front of it. They would believe and celebrate this but call Steven Davis a mad man! cheesy

Reminds me of how they always manage to get some street dwelling homeless white man (or at best some ignorant white student), dust them up, put on some fresh cloth and arm them with a biafran "flag" which he waves in a photo-op.

Then they splash the useless pictures all over the place with some bold egotistical titles: UK supports Biafra!!! cheesy

This is news reporting stood on its head and unless it was from a cloned page of d newspaper,i expect whoever wrote it to be out of work soon because even Reuters, bbc and other credible media have acknkedged the great work being done in d fight against BH,and with clear statistics and evidence to show.
As to the $2.1b assistance claim;even to a child it sounds hogwash because it's too fake to even be blived.
This must pass as the most poorly fabricated lies ever written by any news media
They even talked about a $2billion assistance?? Wtf!! Lmao!! cheesy I didn't get to that part, I stopped at where I quoted.

This further validates my suspicion that the publication strictly a sponsored mass of trash and sounds soooooooooo much like something out of BreakingTimes or Trent. political opponents, it is proving less
effective at tackling the Islamist-run Boko
Haram terrorist group.
Imagine. Even the government's strongest critics have accepted Buhari has done exceedingly well with the war against BH. But with the quote above, what more does one needs to prove this is a poorly executed hatchet job??

The writer probably knows nothing about Bornu or the NE but simply typed the scripts as he was told.

Kennydoc:
Why is it that people like modath will never make a comment about this? All you APC supporters are shouting about the corruption perpetrated by Jonathan's government, but I ask you, is this not a worse form of corruption - keeping silent while the people you swore an oath to protect are being slaughtered like animals in their ancestral homeland?

Modath and co, imagine that this or the Agatu incident happened in your home town and your close relatives were affected, would you still keep quiet? The government is boasting that Boko Haram has been eradicated, meanwhile Fulani militants have continued from where BH stopped, but nobody is saying anything. Is this fair?

The Bible implies that the soul of one person is worth more than the whole world in the scripture, "what shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his soul". How come Buhari and the entire FG have refused to address this herdsmen issue?
I know they were there even in Jonathan's time, but quite frankly, their attacks have been multiplied now.

Why are the FG and many politicians keeping quiet? Why? Why are modath, Omenka, NgeneUkwenu, Passingshot etc not saying anything about these killings?
Fulanimafia, do you really feel comfortable with what your kinsmen are doing? Mynd44 and mynd, are you both okay with all these?
I'm very sure you missed it when I said it in the past. Let me quote myself with the hope that you never bother me over this no more:
omenka:
You guys are simply shameless. Imagine Kyase and I descending on this thread to mock you people over the misfortune of having the Fulanis murder some of your brothers. I'm glad some people are calling you guys out to that fact.

Now, ask yourself, how has your "online rants" about their activities remedied the menace?? If I show concern about my people, I don't have to come genuflect in front of some online morons for attention.

I don't need anyone's validation of my actions to determine their propriety, least of all, that of people who rejoice over the death of human beings.

You lot should be ashamed of yourselves.
Everyone has their ways of responding to issues just as I have mine. I am not answerable to you or anyone else on the forum for that matter. There are lots of posters, and I'll say it, from the SE, who fervently pray these attacks go on unabated so they could have some ammo to shoot Baba with. It doesn't matter to them people are dying, all that matters is Baba looking bad!

We've seen them openly celebrate these incidences on the forum with so much pomp. When terrorists who kill innocent people are killed, they get upset, insisting the pics we see are mere "propaganda", or at best, completely avoid such threads. They thread runs a couple of pages and then grow cold!

But when a bomb goes off and people die, you see them jumping all over the place excitedly keeping the thread very much alive even after ten pages!! How does one reason with such beasts?? The other one who is a renown pro Biafra poster even at some point openly declared "Frankly, I love it when Boko Haram kills the soldiers"!! Can you imagine that??

Today, it was reported some Igbo businessmen were killed in Bayelsa by some criminals who followed them all the way to their houses, incidences that resulted in a protest by Igbo leaders in the state. Now, these people who always insist I come lick their butts and tell them what a disgusting and incompetent president Buhari is whenever fulanis strike all went "divide and rule tactics by APC propaganda media"!! Imagine that. To them, it was of no importance lives were lost, as far as the murders weren't blamed on fulanis! Not a single one of them condemned the incident.

I make strong statements about these incidents on twitter and fb but deliberately choose not to talk about them on the forum because of the disgusting attitude of the anti Buhari elements here.

That is how I've chosen to be, and anyone not comfortable with my position is on their own.

Good night.
