You can hold them accountable for overplaying their hand, and for failing to understand that economic development without mastery of politics is a recipe for disaster. The Goodluck administration tried and did deliever, but failed to play politics the right way
Let me rephrase in case my question didn't get across properly: what aspects of the faults in the economy can we blame them for??

If you tell me "absolutely nothing, they were perfect", I'd still take it.

Did follow the drama then, do u know how Amechi and Oshimole went to court for that ECA? Don say what you don't know.
Did the court ask anyone to share the ECAhuh

Why was the FG constantly dipping hands into that purse if they didn't want the state to ask for some of the action??

There is no admission of guilt in her statement. She merely stated what she has always said: That the governors and some members of political parties frustrated the efforts of her and the executive to save for the future. The only thing she did was to leave that part out. It is inconsequential to mention the names of Fashola and Amaechi in a lecture at an American College
Let me ask you a simple question in the hope that you give me an honest straightforward answer: what exactly can we hold NOI and Jonathan accountable for in he last admin?

We saved $22 billion because the political
will to do it was there. And when the
2008 /2009 crisis came, we were able to
draw on those savings precisely to issue
about a 5 percent of GDP fiscal stimulus to
the economy and we never had to come to
the bank or the fund.
This is what everyone with an organic brain knows. The savings made were used to salvage the economy when the shock waves came in 08/09 and beyond. The savings were depleted to an abysmally low level in her "second coming" and no extra savings were made (just as she said). Another wave of shock hit the market and by extension our economy in the twilight of the last admin, cascading down into this one and there were no savings with which to cushion the effect, hence what we are witnessing today.

Now, one would wanna ask, those "bagging to bring back GEJ and NOI" to "fix" the economy since Baba and Adeosun are failing them is: what magic would the duo perform?? Are they going to "print $US" to throw at the problem??

The one that irks me the most is that old fool called Fayose who's completely lost his senses as to write a foreign government to grant the country badly needed instruments. Perhaps that man isn't a Nigerian. A thorough background check needs to be carried out on his true paternity.

It is not treason. It is comical really.

The senate has forgotten that laws are not retro-active meaning even if they get that bill signed, it does not apply to Senator Saraki's trial.

Plus the President is not going to sign, they can't get 2/3 of the HOR to effect a veto.

This is a waste of legislative hours
If they didn't have all these factored in and figured, you think they'd make the attempt??

I just wonder how much Saraki bought these souless devils with.

Naija's destiny is not tied to the US/UK, all the years of neo-colonialism is why they don't want to let go!! Evil western demons!!
The report captures things that have been happening in the country since the Pyramids of Giza were built, a situation the government is trying hard to fix, yet some bionic surrogates are already using the scruffy paws to type nonsense.

Whenever I see some comments on this forum, my heart sinks a notch, wishing I had control over my nationality at birth.

How unfortunate.

Kid, it pains me to respond to you but check his out:

I don't know why ALL those who dislike me are those who want NOTHING GOOD to happen to Nigeria.

I don't know why ALL those who dislike me are those who HATE BUHARI.

I don't know why ALL those who dislike me tend to HATE ANYTHING associated with APC.

I don't know why 99% of those who dislike me are from a PARTICULAR REGION of this country.

I don't know why you are like them.

I'm not here to look for love, only desperately lonely people go on social media looking for people to like them.

Now, get your hypocritical trash off my mentions. You and whoever likes your comments.

Lol

Honestly I'm sure by now Anambra has the best standard of living. Use to be Enugu until the new governor messed everything up.
My only prayer is that he doesn't soft pedal on his second tenure as most governors in the country do. They shine somewhat bright in their first term but on return are nothing but a huge mess since they won't be needing votes no more.
Politics › Re: An Open Letter To Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom by omenka(m):
Okay, let me make some ants happy by making a "comment".

So far, just as I have always stated when stuff about BNSG comes up, Ortom is a total failure. BIRS after Ayabam left has been a complete mess. The BSU tuition stuff is a disaster. His cabinet, chosen by Lord Akume is a mess. Civil servants are being owed two to three months salaries. Local government staff almost 8 months. Benue is at a standstill.

Ortom is a huge disappointment.

Now, can others who aren't ashamed of their identities mention what state they are from instead of hiding behind a faceless, "identitiless" moniker to piss on themselves?? grin

That is the antithesis they are selling to the Southerners, who despite being suspicious of the North, can't help themselves from supporting the argument if it will make Amaechi and Buhari look bad.

20years from now, no one would remember the political animosity against Buhari or Amaechi, what will remain will be the infrastructure or lack of it.
What more can I say. You hit it right on the head. Hatred has rendered most of these people mentally sterile.

Modath has to see this.
Politics › Re: Reps Angry As Dogara, Jibrin, Others Inject N40b Projects Into Budget by omenka(m): 10:42am On Apr 14, 2016
StOla:
Yet some foolish Southerners are supporting the same Jibrin against Amaechi, claiming that the Coastal Railway was not in the original budget.

Are Jibrin' s and Dogora's project in the original budget?
Were they included in any subsequent amendment like Amaechi did for the coastal railway?
Did the relevant ministers defend those projects during the budget defence?

Lastly, did Jibrin wait for a supplementary budget before inserting his own personal projects outside the statutory allocation for constituency projects? Yet the same Jibrin is telling Amaechi and the President to wait till a new supplementary budget is raised by the executive before a critical project can be approved.

The problem with hate is that people self-destruct, thinking they are hurting their enemies. Some are determined that Buhari must not achieve anything good within their political domain, as if he was responsible for the failure of their own son on home soil.

Buhari and Amaechi may never need to use the coastal railway in their lifetime, but the supposed beneficiaries are supporting the arguments of the very person who has robbed them to make his own people happy.

Years from now, a new generation of Southern bigots would proclaim that the North allocated lots of infrastructural projects to themselves, oblivious of the self-hate that caused their own neglect.
Politics › Re: Nigeria Needs An ‘air Cavalry’ Command To Crush Boko Haram, Says Ex-us Navy SEAL by omenka(m): 8:50am On Apr 14, 2016
DaBullIT:
Around a year or more ago

I suggested the same , reconnaissance mission, using unmanned drones hired from the US Army or they should give the contract to the US army , that was when USA gave us US Marines (GEJ sent them away)

After they find the hotspots , they should mark them, send a team of machine gunners another team consisting mainly of snipers and demolition experts with air support

While the air support creates the explosions around the terrorist camps , Machine gunners would waylay the confused enemies and the snipers take out specific targets with SDV or more sophisticated sniper rifles

It isn't going to be a cake walk , but sniper fire from all directions taking out confused enemies would lead to panic and they'll make even more mistakes

All teams led by Marines or seals after rigorous training / drills

Boko Haram would have ended by now

Also , when US led a few drone campaigns , that's when we learnt Boko Haram acquired surface to air missiles , a weapon which requires computers, radars and gps coordinating capacities , It's not easy to buy on black market , It's even less convenient to bring into the country

It can't be assembled in Nigeria even if parts were smuggled in , I think that's where Dasuki and the rest of his buddies come in , And i think US marines found out BH had serious powerful people backing them, Instead of letting them work , GEJ chased them away

Anyways , there are serious tactical minds out here , just wish information gets to the right channel and gets taken seriously

abi bro, Wetin you think Omenka
I'd be damned if I had more to say.

I blieve we are seeing the father of modern Nigeria, our very own Lee Kuan Yew, in the making- better believe that fellas.

Edit:

The ignoramus below should be slapped a million times for calling someone else ignorant for mentioning Lee Kuan Yew. Yew was the Prime Minister of Singapore and is credited for most of what Singapore is today, and has nothing to do with China. He was to Singapore what Mao was to China.

So why the hell is he telling us Mao and Yat-sen were the two fathers of modern Chinahuh
