Obiagelli:
I have come to realise that the so called enlighten Nigeria choose to read and hear whatever suites them, i have seen mischivious elements in the mainstream manipulate contents with total unconnected headlines.

I have always wondered if there is a law that says a suspect can't be rearrested for fresh charges after bail

God bless the OP for this piece. Happy new year Nigerians.
You and Sweetlemon though. Whatever happened to your fire?? Can't believe your moniker still lives.

Happy new year to you. Missed your punchlines pretty much.
Politics › Re: Buhari To Spend 6.9 Billion On Aso Rock Zoo by omenka(m): 9:46pm On Dec 31, 2015
The subhead carries several items under it but the op simply said it is meant for "zoo". I trust the rest of them to jump on it and "celebrate". cheesy

These PDP supporters have been having a reeeeeaaaalllyy bad day on the forum today and would do anything to soothe themselves, including lying to themselves even when the truth stares them in the face.

Who are we to deny them that right?? grin

They've suddenly abandoned the N1.7billion lie after the truth came out.

Una weldone oo. cheesy

albino and e-war lord, heaven will fall. because one thing i discover about these stupid country of yours is that they like begging and never learn from history, yusuf was killed and boko haram has littered all the street of the northern states, still that did not teach your FG any lesson, today ua strong army is begging for amnesty and ua number one citizen is begging the said terrorist to come for negotiation. today, another situation is towing the same line and ua oga on top can not learn from previous scenarious and he is busy romancing his egos. my little advice to him is to ask his predecessors how it all ended for them. before fools like u will still come to these forum to ask IPOB to beg for amnesty,

If I can't retaliate because of laid down Rules, I see no reason why I should be insulted.

This violates Rule 2.

Stop approaching posts with a fixed mindset, i asked a poster that said the op was wrong because he is 'close' to the presidency and asked him to get the right the figures for us with his proximity, is there anything wrong with the request?
And you didn't bother to ask the op for his source. Dude just dropped a figure out of nowhere and you found it more appropriate to question someone who doubted his figure. What a man! cheesy cheesy

"Goodluck" to you in the new year bro. wink

Politics › Re: Buhari/osibanjo To Spend N2.2b On Feeding, Travel In 2016 by omenka(m): 6:31pm On Dec 31, 2015
"Food, travels and others" says the title.

Feeding alone is less than N200million yet they were spreading lies it was N1.7billion.

Jogogoro and his Obese gourmand spent N1billion on feeding alone.

Shame!! cheesy

Finally, the people of Abia State have been liberated from the stranglehold of the Killer Party.

What a New Year's Gift to Abians.

What a New Year's Gift to Alex Otti.

My sincere Congratulations to them all.

Foreign Affairs › Re: Obama Defies American Laws, To Announce Action To Expand Gun Checks by omenka(m): 6:13pm On Dec 31, 2015
modath:
The Right wing Gun Nuts & NRA are never going to find this funny but it is a fact of life that Gun control should be enforced!! Too many avoidable & needless deaths!!!
Hmmm. What I know about US politics is that politicians, especially those in Washington, dread NRA more than they do the Congress. Obeezee knows this all too well. Imagine the gentleman is at the twilight of his admin yet he pussyfoots over stuff like this. cheesy

I can't blame him. Those guys are too damn ruthless- I wouldn't doubt it if one told me they can bring down a government in 24hours. Remember their posturing after #SandyHook. One had thought that incident would bury them once and for all given the age range of most of the victims but hell, they only strengthened their grip on the puppet strings of US politics and their ferocious defence of the Second Amendment.

Obeezee's gotta thread carefully. Those guys "own" US. grin

olayinex:
waitin dey do baba self, even Obama did not ban it
Does Obama have to take an action to make it appropriatehuh

These guys are jokers. Baba would do what we feel is in our best interest and I believe most Nigerians would back him up on this- some out of the need for a more secure society, others out of sheer hatred for Islam. Regardless, if banning a mode of dressing is a sacrifice we have to make for enhanced security, so shall it be.

I don't care what they do with themselves cos I know in showbiz, there's nothing like "bad publicity".

That said, I think that lady is a grade A Cougar. Just look at the generational difference between their looks. Maria Carey aint got shiit on her.

It's Judiciary and not Judicially. Of course you can say the Judicial arm as in legislative and executive.

And yes it is the 3rd arm of our government
After the bros pose well under sun with him lap top (@ dp) to type the content of the thread, the best he could come up with is a repeated gbagaun (@ judicially)!

One would quickly understand it isn't just a typo since he typed same both in the body and the title. The Tiv people from my state and Igbos are mostly fond of this cheesy

It comes naturally. smiley

@ op: Mbok, everyone has told you it is judiciary and not "..cially". Simply edit it.

To your question: yes it is. Got any problems with that??

Gitmo is not in US and it's not protected by US law. Don't worry it will be your turn next when the rights of court and fair hearing are abused. we can as well ask for the military to come back so that the constitution can be suspended and we are ruled by decrees.
And who the hell is stopping you from doing that already? undecided

One person springs up a foolish line and the rest of them devour it ravenously.

Gitmo "isn't protected by US laws" yet cases from Gitmo are heard in US courts whenever attain gets the "privilege" to be brought before a court.

This even raises a funny question: under which country's laws does Guam exist then since Cuba has no jurisdiction over it?

These guys are so funny- imagine them trying to justify the existence of Guam just to validate their line of argument.

Absurdities are sure in no short supply out here. cheesy

Politics › Re: Please Release My Husband- Dasuki's Wife Begs FG by omenka(m): 3:40pm On Dec 31, 2015
Too bad ma'am. We can't.

Your husband's acts are responsible for countless cases people who's lives cannot be "pleaded back into existence".

When he was busy sharing our yams, you should have "begged" him to see the demerits in so doing, but something tells me you participated acitvely in eating them yams and probably gave some crumbs of it to friends who worshipped at your feet.

His trial would run its full course madam. Plead you may, but the president's resolve to see repugnant crooks like your husband who stole and rubbed it in the faces of Nigerians brought to book is simply unshakeable.

Curlieweed:
First, Gitmo isn't technically part of the US. That's the reason the detainees were kept there. It creates the required environment to keep them in legal limbo (or purgatory if you want).

Secondly, none of the Gitmo detainee is a US citizen.

In this case these people are Nigerians held on Nigerian soil but some criminals in power refuse to obey the simple principles of separation of powers and the rule of law. You can't enforce the law by breaking the law. That kind of arbitrary abuse of power is a pure recipe for anarchy .

I'm not in anyway surprised by all this. Anybody could have predicted that the Mumuharri , the Daura President is too daft to understand how an orderly modern society works.

Enjoy your change ! E no concern me.
Dude, read my fingers: I DON'T CARE about you people's opinion. The WP's article isn't gonna change ANYTHING.

Nnamumudi Kaalluu is a bloody criminal, a terrorist, an imposter, a con artist, and a mad man, and would be treated as such.

Politics › Re: Nigeria Won’t Release 2 Detainees Despite Court Orders. Washington Post. by omenka(m):
From the beginning, they said Nnamumudi Kalluu has nuclear weapons and would visit the country with one of them soon, killing every living being in it besides Biafrans- we didn't see as much as a fire cracker.

Then they said he cannot be arrested- we was.

Then they dared the State to keep him beyond two days- he's been in a dungeon for over two months.

Then they said Vladamir Putin has ordered his release- he remains in the dungeons!

Then they said a lawmaker in the UK wrote a petition to their parliament for his unconditional release- that was over a month ago, dude's still languishing in the dungeons.

Then they said David Cameron has ordered his release since he's a UK citizen otherwise they would go to war with Nigeria- DSS got offended and increased the liquidity of his beans meal.

Then they protested on the streets- it didn't change anything.

Then they gave an Ultimatum- it has since expired and NOTHING has happened.

Then they said only an Igbo President could calm them down- PDP zoned the presidency to the North!

Then they demanded 8billion bribe to stop their protests- not a penny has been given them and I doubt Baba would give any.

Now they've brought Washington post article- Na today?? Ask them about detainees at Guantanamo Bay.

Politics › Re: Nigeria Won’t Release 2 Detainees Despite Court Orders. Washington Post. by omenka(m): 2:38pm On Dec 31, 2015
How many Gitmo inmates has the government of US released on orders from her courts?? As a matter of fact, how many of the inmates have seen the insides of a court room since detention??

Nnamumudi Kalluu will rot in jail like those terrorists in Gitmo and heavens won't fall, just like it didn't in the US.

Had PDP been a human being, right now we would have seen it in rags clutching dry bones from last Christmas' feasts, dripping from the nose and drooling from the mouth with big green flies hovering all over it while it eats from a refuse dump somewhere in Aba.

PDP as a party has run completely MAD. cheesy

Even Aye Dee is now a convert grin
It is very shameful honestly. Imagine someone ranting on another thread saying Baba would ruin Innoson by reversing progress made in the auto industry and not patronising them- yet the last time Obiano bought vehicles for police, they were all Toyotas. The earlier these guys woke up to see who their real enemies are, the better for them.

Your hatred for Buhari would consume you all.

Almost all big dump trucks operational in Benue state under BENSESSA currently are IVM trucks!

How many have the SE governors bought??

You guys should become responsible already.

All the hatred stems from nothing but Jogogoro's defeat and the pic below.
