Tolexander: The technology in the fixing of transmission equipment on a telecommunication mask is not advanced beyond Nigerian engineers.
Did they manufacture the technology? As in ehn!!! When I saw that comment dude, I had to go over it repeatedly to be sure I wasn't missing something in there. Installing a transmitter, "advanced engineering". Such primitive guys out here. Smh. |

asorocker: Are IPOB engineers this advanced, my thoughts are that if IPOB have this level of advanced engineering then Nigeria is really playing with a more complex and intriguing situation Installing a radio transmitter on a mast has become "advanced engineering". Politics › Re: Should Igbos Start Selling Their Landed Property In Lagos, Please Check Reasons by omenka(m): 10:36am On Dec 30, 2015 |
kettykin: Should the igbos who have invested so much in the landed property business in lagos start selling their property.
I have fears about the Lagos economy and the safety of the wealth of igbos in lagos. This is because the price of the landed property business is very high now which is actually the best time to sell. With the decline of the oil industry and it's expected effect on the economy of nigeria and lagos, lagos whose igr is driven by income taxes of which the bulk comes from the oil companies headquatered in lagos would witness reduced igr
The lagos government being a rental driven government would certainly embark on property tax, which would have a great impact on property owners in lagos . Secondly as the oil driven economy goes down, banks that depended on oil companies would find it tough, leading to tightening of belt which can affect staff welfare which would hit on the igr of lagos. Thirdly the bureau de Change operators, air travel business, air line business etc are already in tough times because of economic downturn.
Please discuss further, this is not another biafra thread Mynd44, please close down this trash. |

PDP supporters are gonna chew this right to its marrow- at last they've found some water shed under the scorching sun to quench their thirst. That said, there's no budget the world over that is perfect, reason we have a Legislative arm of government to moderate the activities of the executive and vice versa. Come what may, the proposed expenditure for cars is a no-no for me. PS: Where is Ihejirika?? Given all the revelations we've seen in the #Dasukigate, I think it is time we invited Steven Davis to come tell us more about what he knows about Boko Haram and Ihejirika's sponsorship. |

Politics › Re: Wike Gradually Losing Grip Of PDP Members In Rivers by omenka(m): 9:20am On Dec 30, 2015 |
drshrewd: Wike remains the worse interim governor Rivers have ever had
He plunged the IGR of the state from an average of N8b to less than N5b due to unwantory interference, vested interest and infighting in the state revenue board, staffs and revenue contractors
over N100b was recently approved by RSHA for supplementary budget when the year is barely 2wks to go
He suspended all the activities of the RSSDA which ran different empowerment programs, including scholarship, skill acquisition, agriculture(songai farm, fish farming, paultery, etc), employment schemes through job fair, etc
He plans to 'Wikedly' send back our overseas scholars numbering over 600 back home
Sacked thousands of workers (RSSDA, Rivpoly, Tima riv, etc) without creating jobs
Borrowed over N40b just to patch roads and construct open gutter drainage sad
Abandoned the public schools in the state to be overgrown by weeds and rodent
threatening the peace in the state by advising his supporters not to report any offensive from the opposition to the police or security operative instead they should attack in three folds____ what a thug of a governor
a government without economic blue print, no development program, no project timeline is as good as no government
we the good people of Rivers have decided to boot him out with our votes come 2016 Sadly, some of your brothers insist Wike's the best thing that's happened to Rivers after oil. Cc: Lalasticlala. |

^^^Some people NEVER learn from experience even if literally hammered into their brain. I remember when they swore on their lives Baba would NEVER become the president of a united Nigeria, but here we are. They swore Amaechi would be forgotten like the traitor he is, but we know where he is today.
Now they are back to their old habits swearing xyz would never happen in Rivers- what else can we do than lean back with arms folded and savour the scenes of a repetition of history.
Ps: Given the avalanche of sordid revelations we've been getting from Santa Dasuki's episode, I think it is about time we invited Ihejirika and the Australian Steven Davis to tell us more about what transpired between them and Boko Haram.
