StOla:I don't even bother reading the first lines of his diatribes. Once I see "FFK" I simply go down to read, like and share comments. The guy is desperate for attention from the presidency and it hurts him so badly he's getting none. FFK of all people has turned into an Igbo Opinion Leader- I mean Femi Fani Kayode of all people!! Same dude had this to say about Igbos just a couple of years ago (late 2013) Again when northern military officers mutinied, effected their ”revenge coup” andJust as a writer once said about him- to FFK, the "truth" is malleable and can be moulded and remoulded to suit one's purposes. I dearly hope his children aren't gonna turn out the same. |
modath:The guards themselves could have their palms greased to look the other way. Besides, it is nearly impossible to have guards posted at EVERY gas station across the country especially given the number of minor ones we have scattered across the rural areas. I don't think there is any easy way to ensure compliance, so I'd swing the other poster's way- market forces themselves remain the best regulators. When an atmosphere of competition is created, things would simply fall in line. |
LRNZH:Nah, that one is one little ignorant kid. Whenever I see his posts, I just scroll ahead. The real attackers will surface soon- best brace yourself. ![]() |
Tell that to Orubebe, Asari and co who did all they could to see it come to pass. God pass all of una. |
By the crack of dawn, I see a couple of folks passing out on sighting this thread. ![]() Those strong enough to put up a feeble defence would go: "Aisha Rice working", "they are Tinubu paid idjiots", "useless betrayers (as though they signed any deals with them)", "APC propaganda", or their most favourite "THEY ARE YOLOBAS". ![]() #FireOnBuhari!! All Nigerians of good conscience are solidly behind you. ![]() By the way, LRNZH, how dare you create such a thread?? Hope you got your bullet proof and all other protective gear intact cos they'll definitely come for your head for this. ![]() |
Some of the strange deposits in the account are: N400million from the Office of National Security Adviser (ONSA) on November 24th, 2014Dude just got himself a massive problem to fix. All best to him. #FireOnBuhari!! |
Austin4lif:AMEN!!! May God pilot your life the same way GEJ piloted Nigeria as president. Can I get an amen from you? ![]() |
Was pressed in my sleep. Woke up to relieve myself, peeped in and saw you guys have been having fun without me. ![]() Well, Baba Bubu, you know my own and your own be na, no need to state the obvious. ![]() #Fire all dem bloodklats!! ![]() |
Just imagine what a bunch of clowns these guys are. Everyone now appears to be bolting our of the yam barn since they can't stand the stench of the fart coming from some who had eaten rotting yams. Dasuki is yet to release half of the tracks he's got in his hit album- I'm sure when we get to that point, these happy-go-luck party fanatics would realise the consequences of attending such owambes. This year is gonna be one of the busiest and most profitable years ever for our press I believe. When we get to NNPC and customs, they'd be the ones chasing after the deluge of news items trying to catch up. |
One nonentity, "General Playboy", can now subtly threaten the FG- no thanks to Jonathan who over-fed and spoiled these crooks silly so much so that they dictated to him at some point when he wanted to commission an EFZ for the benefit of the entire region- and ooooh, how he followed their orders!! Did "Playboy" give an ultimatum or did he forget that part ![]() We nor blame una. By the way, I wonder why they keep referring to these guys as "ex-militants". They are still militants, still bear arms, still forment trouble, hence they should be referred to as treated as such by the press. They can blow up all they pipelines they want- I'm sure they are oblivious of what's going on at the international oil market and how such sabotage can impact their own environment (both land and water body). Tomorrow these same illiterate would protest to the ICC over environmental degradation by the IOCs. Pity. |
kITATITA:Nah, you can't put this on journalists. It is the op trying to make his own deductions. The original title of the story from the source is at variance with the title of the thread. |
The title of the thread and its content are like two parallel lines. Op, I hail oo. |
TimeManager:Good point. Will definitely put a call to NOA's office tomorrow. ![]() |
Jayne2014:Jane (presume that's your name), institutions don't build themselves, people build institutions and strict enforceable laws sustain and make them thrive even long after their founders are no more. What we need are laws and their strict enforcement just like in the civilised/developed world. That way, the institutions you talk about would come alive and the sanity we all desire would be entrenched. |
cizy:So now you see it's a roundabout, initially, it was a "highway". Oga, whatever you say is your business. Suit yourself. Bye. |
Wow. Lovely pics indeed. ![]() Ladies and money are two inseparable bffs. Just lookie- throw a molotov cocktail at these broads and they'd laugh even harder, long as your wallet's got the right currencies. |
Demonstration of acute "joblesness". They should make sure not to obstruct other people's business/movement as they cary on with their stewpid demonstration- you cannot be exercising your own freedom while hindering others from exercising theirs. There would be consequences. |
cizy:#facepalms! Who says I was "using the phone while driving"? I pulled over and took the first pic through the window of the car. I imagine the glass obscured its clarity. Then I opened the door and took the other two. How does that constitute a violation of traffic laws?? You rushed in here to criticise because some other poster summoned you to do so, and in your haste, you just made a mess of yourself. Sorry bro, next time, ask questions before throwing shades. Thanks. |
JaredNomak:You make good points, but some Nigerians need an iron fisted leader with a heart of steel to get them to do the right thing. There are smart and humane ways such laws can be enforced in today's world without having to be called a tyrant. I just read somewhere that Lagos state government has shut down some building for lacking proper facilities- now that isn't tyranny but commonsense. This is simply preposterous, especially given it is right in the middle of a university. |
Ecoterrorist:My friends and I run an NGO dedicated to empowering youths generally and fresh graduates in particular through skills acquisition and promotion of entrepreneurship. We've organised workshops and boot-camp and competitions on entrepreneurship for students (all free of charge) even though most student union leaders ask that we charge a token for attendance (so they could get some share of the monies realised). All what we did, we did from OUR OWN POCKETS! Tell me, what have you done for your own people ![]() You were chased out of your own thread by Aresa, after1 (1after), Modath, NgeneUkwenu et al and think you'd find some refuge here throwing inane tantrums. A ban is what I don't desire at the moment because I don't wanna rob myself of the freedom to shoot down PDP supporters' propaganda on the forum. You once deactivated and swore never to return, wonder what brought you back and even moreso, why you turned up this time so broken and hateful. Sometimes, I wonder how a lady (if you truly are) manage to carry on with such yoke in her heart. God help you. |
175:We get worse threats every minute. This one is too damn flaky- reinforce it a little. |
todayboy:I have a right to my opinion and so do you. If you don't like mine, you might as well choke on your disapproval. Thanks. |
xtropy:Lovely. Used to think you misunderstood yourself. ![]() |
xtropy:Good luck. At least you've now found yourself a job. ![]() |
Yet some barbarians would be using their leprosy infected fingers to type shiit about "Rule of Law" as regards one Dasuki- a criminal that hasn't stolen their rights, but their future. Even though I'm against JJ in all forms, this is the kind of treatment people like Dasuki deserve. May everyone who contributed to the killing of those boys die even more miserable death, amen. ![]() I hope Baba gets to order the re-opening of the Aluu4 file. |
Descartes:Hmm. K. |
FastShipping:It is such a big shame this is happening in an institution that is supposed to instill the spirit of patriotism in citizens- a university!! What a sordid irony. |
Descartes:Wow!! Great comment!! ![]() |

Was on my way out of Makurdi and decided to pick up a coleague from Benue State University. On my way out, my eyes caught sight of this raged Nigerian flag placed conspicuously close to the office of the Vice Chancellor. I must confess this really broke my heart! Any institution within the boundaries of this country ought to uphold the spirit of our "Nigerianess" with dignity and pride. Two of such items, amongst many others, that serve as symbols of our nationality are the Official Portrait of the President and our National Flag. I have never seen the official portrait of any of our ex presidents looking so shabby or treated with such disdain during their tenure. As a matter of fact, for national identity, the flag comes first before any other item, so it becomes incomprehensible why Nigerians have a penchant for abusing it. We understand that citizens of a country cannot be forced to be patriotic, but institutions of government MUST be/be seen to be patriotic. I think it is high time we pushed for severe sanctions for heads of public institutions seen to be doing this. I believe it is the only way to nip this very shameful trend in the bud. I hear someone say bring back #WAIC! If a pristine flag cannot be flown/used, then none should be at all. God bless Nigeria!!
