Joy Ogwu should be heavily sanctioned for dereliction of duty. She should be made to understand this isn't Jogogoro's era where a lackadaisical approach to important events were the order of the day. It is her Job to coordinate the president's itinerary and she has obviously failed in that regard. Sack the layabout and let the Wailers go to hell is it pleases them.

Wisdom and tact he applies as he speaks,

Absolutely. The man is simply too damn wise and tactful. smiley

As far as we southerners are concerned, we are just noise makers and follow follow people that have killed our cultures and ruled by the white culture and we are perpetual slaves to the whites.

What Emir Lamido said has rubbished our intellect , culture and we have no where to hide.

Nigerians just like to be unneccessarily controversial. Must every other people think like you or have the same culture as yours? If no crime was committed what is your problem with the way Sanusi choose to live his life?
Imagine someone even ranting all over the place about how his stool isn't as important as those of his counterparts in England, spain, etc. Heck, these guys are totally nuts. Sanusi has a people he represents, and to them, he's number one Royalty on the Planet, fvck the Queen of England or anywhere else. That same guy saying this would be the first to cry like a puppy when these white people he mentioned try to lord it over us, forgetting he once stated they are superior.

This is what hatred does to a man- it drives you nuts without you even noticing.

Emir sir, I love your response. It is very detailed and to the point. But sir, do not expect them to reason with you.

The wailers sincerely know there is nothing wrong with marrying an 18 yrs old girl but wailers must wail. They actually envy you but they know not that jealousy kills faster than Ebola and Aids.

Your critics are actually people of no identity. In their homes, they forbid their children to speak their language except English. They encourage their daughters dress to half naked all in the name of wanting to be like the Europeans.

My Emir sir, please know that no matter how much they wail our belief and trust in your leadership remains undaunted and unshakeable

Now to the wailers, comrade Oshiomole told you what to do and Oba Akeredolu told you how to do it. Please follow the advice of these two wise men.

No matter how cheap brain is, a lot of people will not have money to buy and if it becomes salvation and its given freely, some people will still not try to get one. Sanusi just nailed it. the girl is already 18

angry angry angry
It goes way beyond the marriage stuff. It is simply about an innate hatred for anything north and anything anti Ogogoro Master. They resent him for daring to speak the truth when everyone else was scared to. Today, the Ogogoro merchant is the number one master of ceremonies in Nigeria while this gentleman is still a King, and would be so until he dies.

Muslims are muslims and have their own peculiar customs and doctrines and so do we. None of these foolish kids here speaking trash or anyone in their lineage would attain the level of education or sophistication of the Emir, yet they want to lecture him on civilisation. I laugh at their ignorance.

Sanusi has advised them to buy themselves some brains, I advice they take that advice seriously.

Politics › Re: Emir Sanusi's Response To His Marriage To Saadatu - Theheraldng.com by omenka(m): 10:03pm On Sep 29, 2015
The young lady in question gave her free consent and even after the
contract the wedding will not happen
for a few years. By then she may be 21.

If she freely consents to this I do
not know on what moral grounds
anyone has a grouse. She is an adult,
she gave her consent, and her
education is not being in anyway
interrupted.

The real issue is that people do not
accept cultural difference. And you
can see it in the approach to these
issues. I am supposed to be urbane
and western educated. Yes but I am
not European. I am a northern
Nigerian Fulani Muslim brought up in
a setting exactly like the one my
children are being brought up in.

If you read this and it improves your understanding of this issue that is fine. If it does not just remember it is not your life, it is not your daughter
and you are not my wife therefore it
is not your business.
Simple as that.

...and how can a sensible human even see a selfie picture of a single person and happily claim he has seen PROOF because there are no wedding guest in the ONLY picture he saw? undecided

By the way, how old are you?
As in ehn!! Stuffs like this is the reason the white man keep looking down on us as intellectually inferior species. One jobless blogger posted a pic and Nigerians ran to the internet to yell it was SLS that posted it.

Sometimes I consider myself so unfortunate being a black man (or do I say Nigerian) honestly. The embarrassment is just too much.

FFK is trying too hard to get noticed and called upon to come dine with people at the top of the food chain, just the same way he lashed out endlessly at Jonathan until he was invited to the table. Sadly, that technique seems to have fallen flat on its face this time around, reason why every subsequent article of his becomes laced more and more with inciting ethnic and religious innuendoes.

Everyone know his antecedents hence only barbarians like himself would take him seriously.

When he was on the other side, he insulted the Igbos and PDP making himself look like a pro Yoruba nationalist, when he crossed over, he took it out on Yorubas, becoming a self appointed spokesman for Igbos- for him, it is always about ethnicity and religion, and conveniently so- they happen to be the two elements that are sure to get the juices in Nigerians flowing these days. Even on the forum, any thread that appears to pitch the two tribes or religion against one another run into tens of pages less than 24 hrs after its creation. He speaks and quotes the Bible to appear "christianly" and have gullible Christians file behind him thinking "yes, we've got a fearless valiant who can speak for us, when in fact, his character as a person runs afoul of the teaching of Christ and the doctrine of Christianity- yes, I judge him so.

FFK, like I always say, is a hazard to himself, his family, and a threat to our national security. His desperation and primitive lust for power, money and respect makes him disregard inhibitions and courtesy when he opens his mouth to speak. This same man once told us Jonathan was bound to bring nothing but doom to this nation and other such statements, today,.....

I believe when all the dust settles, people like himself wouldn't even get as much as a cold floor by the porch upon which to lay their wasted bodies, let alone given press coverage.

Only time would tell.

Nigerian youths for you. Hunger, poverty and illiteracy have made them disposable tools in the hands of these criminals that call themselves leaders. You can never find the children of these politicians themselves in the midst of such gathering, yet these fools put their lives on the line for a course whose success would only see to their perpetual slavery.

If it were the Ogogoro Master, you would have seen him stumbling down the escalator because he must've drank himself to stupor after delivering a useless speech to a hall where only empty seats make up the audience, and his crude and uncouth wife would have secured a "juicy" spot for herself in the thousands of Nigerian delegates that would have been descending the escalator.

Long Live my Amiable President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Mohamadu Buhari (GCFR).

If you don't like seeing his pictures, gorge your eyes out, and if you don't like my comment slap yourself to coma.
