KingMEXX: Are these guys for real??... Up until May 29th that Buhari was sworn in, I didn't even have up to 6hrs of light a day and you're here telling me that if Buhari solidifies the Power company and makes electricity steady, that he shouldn't take credit?? You're a joker! Why couldn't the drunkard solve the power issue for the 6yrs he was in charge? Ask around, UNN and some federal schools are on "break" due to total power failure for over 3 weeks and lack of funding from the fed govt to run the school's alternate power backup..
What of Boko haram? Don't get me started..It was only in the GEJ led administration that the bastards developed some gigantic balls to take over territories as big as "Belgium" as you put it..The NA has never been this much weak since the civil war all thanks to corruption that crept into the system due to a clueless fool that believes that stealing is not corruption. Wasn't it last year that your President was asked the whereabouts of the most wanted man in the country and what was his reply? "You people (journalists) should know better cos they communicate through you" was his reply on godforsaken national TV!
And what of Corruption?? Do we really need to go there?? This was his infamous reply in one of his dismal Don't get angry. I think the op mistakenly posted the thread here- it is meant to be in the jokes section. So just laugh on brother. |

crixtex: Omenka falter ds claim... pls dont laff.. ds is a serious issue.. and pls b objective and truthful... Very funny you. Have you ever heard the saying- government is a continuum- ? Everything Jonathan "achieved" were based on foundations laid by past admins. What "NOVEL" project can jonathan boast of?? Just name one, I mean, ONE. I bet if Buhari builds the second Niger Bridge, you guys would say "Jonathan laid the foundation" so Buhari can't take credit for it. No? Bro, what your admin is remembered for are the things you "accomplished/completed". Guys that are saying this were the same guys that said Buhari only initiated the process for building the refineries, they weren't built by him. Imagine someone else taking credit for the Akwa Ibom stadium because the foundation was laid in his time- how does that sound to you? Paddy, this thread get as e be. You guys should just stay calm and watch things unfold. Who takes credit for what isn't really Nigerians' business. What they want to see is visible and concrete change. Ban Ki Moon could take credit for it for all they care. |

Mogidi: My tribalism only exist on Nairaland, outside here am kool with Yoruba and Hausas.
I never used to hate the Yorubas until I joined Nairaland and quickly noticed their tribalism and hate for other tribes. You want people to believe yours exist only on nairaland and yet you say you notice Yoruba people's hate for other tribes (I bet you weren't referring to it existing "only on nairaland" . Hmmm. How convenient. And you don't only hate other tribes, you hate other religion as well mr. @op: don't even bother, there are countless number of people on this forum who can only post comments when a thread involves bashing one tribe or religion, without these two elements, they quickly fade into nothingness. You can't imagine the number of comments I've posted against this, the number of times I've reported posts laced with ethnic and religious bile to the mods and have them taken down, or the numerous threads I've created to advocate against this- but hell, these guys see no good in so doing, they thrive on these sentiments and would do anything to keep them alive! It appears we've reached a point were we have to accept nothing can be done about it. Shalom. |

BackDatAssUp: Aregberascal is a highly confused and contradictory fellow.
This is a man who is now going cap in hand begging for federal bail out for his state which he only should be held responsible due to his financial recklessness , ineptitude and flagrant corruption.
During GEJ's tenure, Aregberascal opposed the budget benchmark of $75 stating that there was no need to save but rather the excess should be shared. The governor said the reduction had no basis as the nation’s oil revenue did not fall. He said, “If there is anything my state does not have now, it’s money. We are managing with 40 per cent reduction in our allocation from the Federal Government. It is not as if I even enjoy saying I depend on the federal allocation, but the truth is that there is no magic that I would have made to suddenly taken our state out of dependence on the federal allocation. “It is important for us to know that there is no justification for that 40 per cent reduction in our allocation. The price of crude oil has remained almost the same at $108 per barrel, and the benchmark, according to them, is $75 per barrel.” Femi Gbajamilia also opposed the benchmark on the floors of the national assembly threatening to block the passage of the 2013 budget if the benchmark was not increased. The FG finally conceded and increased the budget to $78.
It did not stop there, with SW APC governors challenging the legality of the excess crude account and using the Governors Forum to force the FG to share proceeds from this accounts to the respective states.
Today, Aregberascal the Oliver Twist is now begging for financial bail out.
If the FG was as reckless as him where does he think the FG will source a financial package from? Hmmm. Seen. |

EMANY01: Don't bother with that one, he is hopelessly lost and he increasingly seems to be representative of the young (elite ?) in the middle belt. This is a question i posted to him after yet another round of mindless bloodletting in his home state unleashed by hausa-fulani marauders. Did he answer, no he doesn't skip a beat jumping on issues that bother the SS/SE foaming in the mouth while his homeland is despoiled by the real enemy :ironically the people he bows to night and day online. When he wants to be escapist, he talks about how ethnicity and religious are spoiling development but he has never acknowledged even if tangentially the slaughter happening at his home base.

Beauty, brains and power- an immensely rare combination to find these days. I particularly like that line where she said the people around the president would determine the political heath of the country- so true. “We were not sure but with the popularity of my husband, we thought then that he needed female support to cancel all sorts of gender bias people have been attaching to him like that he kept me under a purdah.”
“He had never kept me under a purdah even for a moment since I got married to him… See the grace and class at display here. We remember who it was that made this highly embarrassing comment amongst others. And now with just a stroke of her tongue, she mops the floor with that woman without necessarily calling her names. Reminds me of Orubebe/Jega saga. I'm very sure the VP's wife is equally intelligent. God bless you both madams, and bless your husbands too. |

You haven't even stepped foot outside SW and you want to make us believe Christians are bad and terrible without fighting the real evil. Why would you sample a bag of beans and then use it to judge ten thousand? You must be one mischievous person for keeping a blind eye to this rampage and always singling out Christians as the ones bringing the divide.
See how human beings are being killed. See our dear farmers murdered in cold blood. May the perpetrators of this evil deeds die a very horrific death and may they never know peace till they leave this earth! Very cheap blackmail. Very cheap. What did I say about Christians?? You'd be such a coward if you can't show me where I said anything derogatory about any religion or tribe. Bro, take it from me, I'm better than you. That's a fact. . And I'd continue to be a terror to bigoted guys like you on this forum. Deal with that boy, and have a great evening cos I'm having one!. |
