TheFreeOne:
I initially doubt if this could happen but now am beginning to believe this mans mind is surely trapped in era of the military.

All so those talk of being a changed democrat is just a ruse.
Oga abeg go sit for corner. The same DSS that hounded the president endlessly during the campaigns?? Or were you on some other planet hibernating when all that was happening?? I personally would be hugely disappointed in the president if he doesn't sanction marylin ogre.
Politics › Re: DSS Driven Out Of Presidential Villa by omenka(m): 11:00pm On Jun 24, 2015
DSS is acutely compromised and needs thorough exorcism. We wouldn't forget in a hurry the ignominious role they played during the campaigns and some governorship elections in states like Anambra, Ekiti and Osun.

Both the DG and Marylin Ogre ought to be severely dealt with to serve as deterrent for other intending puppets.

Ogre especially was running her mouth attacking APC as though she were some self appointed PDP spokesperson forgetting power is transient- where is she now?? Has she developed a sore tongue or somethinghuh

So it's real!? embarassed

I normally use it to mock APC, never knew PMB actually said that in person, I thought it was some NL fabricated political brouhaha.

The sh*t just got real! lipsrsealed
Apparently you have some comprehension issues. If you had understood what the op posted, it would have been clear indeed it is a fabricated lie just like you initially thought.

Obviously the President never made the alleged statement.

I don't blame the dullard for making childish promises , I blame those moro.ns that believed him and voted for him on this course.
Did you even read the opening post or just blindly came to comment?? Are you people so blind to the truth?? If you had any honour in you, then from what the op posted, with all the pictorial evidence, it is clear this is a lie you guys took too far, and predictably you will not let it go. Buhari NEVER said "I will make $1 equal to N1" as you guys keep saying.
Politics › Re: President Buhari And The "Promise" Of Making $1 Equal To N1 by omenka(m): 10:38pm On Jun 24, 2015
angelberton:
He did not say so. You should take some of the things you read in the papers with a pinch of salt.

Even if he said so, he has 4 years to do so.

You appear to be in a rush to see promises accomplished within 4 weeks of coming to power!

Where are you hurrying to? You can't run faster than your legs, you know!
Read what the op wrote. He isn't taking sides. As a matter of fact, he's saying, from the evidences presented, that Buhari never made the alleged statement.
Politics › Re: President Buhari And The "Promise" Of Making $1 Equal To N1 by omenka(m): 10:35pm On Jun 24, 2015
Thanks for this piece Lalasticlala.

We know the people behind all that stories about what Buhari said which in fact he never did. There are a thousand more like this and these guys, even after reading this, would still hold tight onto the lies because that is the narrative that suits them most.

Editor1:
NNPC is the most probed Agency is Nigeria.
And Nigeria's senate is the most probing Agency.

At the end of the day, Ntin comes out of those probes.
Can anything good come out of Saraki's senate?

I miss TRANSFORMATION
Nothing came out of the previous probes because of the previous government's anti-corruption posturing. Trust me, if this probe is done this time, somebody MUST go to jail.

Ishilove:
Smh. Some people will just sit behind their computers to concoct evil. Throughout last week they were spamming the section with alleged pictures of the bombing and crying blue murder, even after the inhabitants of Calabar came online to state that there was nothing like that happening. One even alleged that the people of Calabar were being napalmed. Napalm!! huh huh

Shame.
I'm glad this came from you. I could remember I drew the attention of Seun and Lalasticlala to that particular thread as asked them to be wary of those war mongers who seek to use Nairaland as a tool to propagate their divisive and inflammable rhetoric. The moment I saw the pics, I knew they were all lies.

It is incumbent on you supermods to clamp down heavily on these secessonist elements that flock to this forum to cause all kinds of trouble. Nairaland must not be used as a launchpad for chaos.

A friend shared this picture with me on Watsapp and ask how much will be required to clothe them. Seriously, its time we set our priorities right in this country. We are not asking government to be dashing people money, we are only asking for policies that will create an environment where entrepreneur can survive. Where farmers will be rewarded for their labour.

It is well with my country. Amen.
Your post evokes very deep thoughts indeed.

On my part, I've been working on a plan where my team and I go round, collect used clothes mostly from the rich and medium class, wash them clean and disinfect them then use some money to buy nice okrika clothes and go distribute to the poor in rural areas.

Trying to put finishing touches to the plan. Think it would make a lot of folks happy.

First off, from your signature, it is obvious you are a kid.

Secondly, during the days of my NYSC a lot of folks where I served (Warri, Delta state) believed Benue state is a Hausa speaking state and the people are predominantly Muslims. Well, for your info, Muslims make up less than 5% of the population of the state and even less Hausas.

So educate your ignorant bigoted mind and stop talking trash all over the place.

It'd be best you stuck to the romance section.

That's the sad truth bro. Till a people are united against a corrupt few, there's certainly no way forward.

A divided and seemingly confused citizenry is the biggest support for a corrupt few.
Incidentally, you and the person you quoted are some of the people that promote ethnoreligious bigotry and hatred on this forum.

While the annual salary of a House member is pegged at N1,985,212.50,
I think that figure was meant to be monthly salary and not annual. You can't tell me they receive 165,000 monthly.

These our publishers though. Don't they have editors??
