Good to know, but such a pronouncement could ultimately boomerang especially given PDP's knack to turn things upside down. They would definitely interpret this to mean APC has an agenda to strangle the local auto industry that has been "transformed under Goodluck Jonathan". It would definitely be appreciated by the Cotonou boys and car dealers, but the elites who have vested interest in the domestic auto industry would no doubt have their feathers ruffled by it. I hope APC does well to clarify such pronouncements as regards their intentions so they don't leave any room for PDP to manipulate things. |

@ otemanuduno: Nice writeup. If I must be fair, I would say the post is a bit skewed in favour of APC and her supporters, but holistically, it contains a lot of truth and undeniable logic. Expect a lot of jabs from GEJ supporters for they are surely not gonna take this lightly.  Finally, you might wanna revisit No9 and edit the first line. I believe what you meant was to type GMB instead of GEJ. |

This is Nigeria for you, a place where people walk on their heads and think with their feet. Someone threatens Nigeria with war if Jonathan is not re-elected, and even goes on to buy warships and import arms from SA, and such a guy is applauded. Someone warns of the dangers in the reckless use of presidential powers and cautions if it goes on unabated, it might create a fertile ground for a military takeover and the person is accused of treason!!! I really feel for this guy. PDP would do all within its power to ensure he doesn't conduct the polls. He's the only thing standing between them and their plans to rig. Now they wanna go after the usage of card readers and PVCs. If they succeed to get both out of the way, then they've succeeded in opening the floodgates of rigging to themselves. Jonathan is the worst thing that ever happened to this country. I can only imagine how remorseful Obj would be wherever he is. |

If these guys have their way, the only hope for a credible election is lost forever if what my friends that have been participating in the INEC ad-hoc staff training exercise haave been saying about the card reader is true.
