I created a thread commending Seun for the neutral stand he appears to have taken regarding the front page and just visited it to see this comment by a mod after which he closed the thread:

I, the original poster, wasn't complaining about anything but was rather giving credit to whom it is due!

If some posters were posting complaints on the thread, it was up to the mod to deal personally with them and not with the thread!! Why did he have to close the thread because some posters laid some complaints on the thread?? Isn't this taking power a bit too far??

It really is simple, his team are humanizing him. It's to appeal to the young voters who would be able to relate to the girl. Again just another way to bust this islamize nonsense. Those pictures achieved a lot of stuff. His campaign team are brilliant. They're running it like how they run campaigns in the US, introduce your charming family and people fall in love with you more. No joke, I saw a lot of people that don't necessarily support Buhari tweeting and retweeting, even if it was just to be part of the cool crowd for the night. All in all, it worked

You sound very funny man. On a serious note I want to know why the showcasing of his daughter will sell him to Nigerians who already know his kind of person.

You are just mad because of the storm the picture generated. When pictures of him and his grandchild surfaced, you never asked, now you are bothered about this.

If showing off his daughter would earn him more votes, so be it. She wasn't dressed in an inappropriate manner, neither does displaying one's pic on twitter amount to an electoral offence.
