Op you don't use the adjective "prettiest" or any other "-est" when comparing two items. You use "prettier" or any other "-ier" for such cases.

Chiefpriest1: You only know your true friends in times of trouble. I do not see how flying military hardware over Saudi Arabia skies would jeopardize their interest.
Right now it's obvious that these people have been seeing Nigeria as mumu and they do not reapect us.
Thats what you get when you have a weightless leadership that does not command international respect.
Say what you will, but I dont see how this nonsense would have happened during obasanjo's time. From south Africa to the United states and now Saudi Arabia. Wtf is really happening The whole stuff is symptomatic leadership failure at the highest levels. That is just the truth. No one respects Nigeria anymore. trillville: Why must Nigeria always look to import finished goods (military equipment). Government will now tell us it has no business with business. if DICON is empowered to develop all these equipment, we will not be facing this embarrassment now.
We have so many mechanical engineers unemployed, some even with masters yet government says it has no business with business so it has to create employment in foreign countries by importing all sorts of finished goods at the expense of our people and the naira.
Saudi Arabia is simply doing the bidding of America and this action has absolutely no religious undertone in my opinion. Pakistan is a much more radical state than saudi and yet it has chosen to sell Nigeria weapons. I love it when I see people think intelligently! I've not gone beyond this comment which is the second on the thread but I know 90% of the comments would be some emotional outburst and silly insults on the faith yet again. Most people would forget the country from where the arms were purchased is also an Islam dominated country. And the reporter was indeed very silly when he led his source on by asking if the refusal "carried any religious undertone" and the source of course answered in the affirmative! He forgot Pakistan is even more religious than Saudi Arabia!! |

HzRF: Gombe State governor, Alhaji Hassan Dankwambo was on Friday pelted with stones in Kashere, Akko Local Government Area of the state while on a campaign visit to the area to sell the candidacy of President Goodluck Jonathan.
The situation of things got so bad that Dankwabo had to sought refuge at the palace of the Emir of the town. The restive crowd were so angry at the governor that they laid siege on the palace for over three hours.
Although the governor eventually left the palace unscratched, his convoy of cars was not that luck, as the irate mob left them battered beyond imagination.
The people were said to have complained bitterly about the insensitivity of Governor Dankwabo to the state of things in the area caused by insurgency.

Is this what I must rule ideology want to turn Nigeria into? To start with, your story has no source therefore isn't verifiable. But whatever it is, take a look at this: www.premiumtimesng.com/news/141069-anti-amaechi-protesters-stone-northern-governors-on-solidarity-visit-to-rivers.htmlProtesters, believed to be acting at the behest of people opposed to Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, on Tuesday pelted the motorcade of four northern governors who are currently on a solidarity visit to Port Harcourt.
The protesters had besieged the airport shortly before the arrival of Governors Murtala Nyako (Adamawa), Sule Lamido (Jigawa) and Rabiu Kwankwaso (Kano) at the Port Harcourt International Airport.
Chanting anti-Amaechi slogans, the protesters berated the governors for intervening in Rivers State’s internal crisis.
The three governors, our sources say, however remained at the VIP Lounge of the airport for about an hour waiting for Niger State Governor, Babangida Aliyu, to arrive.
After Governor Aliyu arrived, the governors drove out of the airport in a waiting motorcade provided by their host.
But as their cars drove out of the airport and headed towards the Rivers State Government House, the protesters became violent pelting the motorcade with stones, water bottles, sticks and other items.
However, the governors arrived the Government House safe, without any major incident, and are now holding a closed-door meeting with Mr. Amaechi. Now, do you have something else you wanna share |

Another exclusive from the grapevine of the TANoids. Lmao. Na una go tire. It is common practice the world over for anti government groups to pick men of integrity to represent them at negotiations for disarmament and amnesty. They believe in Buhari's integrity hence mentioned him as their mediator, an offer he duly turned down. This is now the rave of the moment for PDP supporters: create dozens of fictitious facebook and twitter handles using Muslim names and threatening fire and brimestone if Buhari does not emerge as winner in the forth coming presidential election thereby turning the public sentiments against the General.
We have duly alerted people who matter and hopefully a press statement will be released in the coming days to this regard.
PDP is a big threat to the coexistence of people of all faith in this country. They want to win the election at all cost and will do whatever it takes to ensure that, even inciting religious strife!! This is totally disgusting. |
