egift: chukwudi44 - you like using my name to get relevance. No problem, continue. There is God ooo!

@OP:
I have repeatedly said that it will be more effective to defeat Boko Haram if Jonathan will prosecute the Boko Sponsors he is having Tea and Coffee with - Him and his Coven will just give order to Shecow and his boys to stop killing Nigerians. And peace will rain.

But we are seeing daily is that Boko Haram is allowed to keep attacking, Security Budget and Contracts keep getting inflated, Arm Smuggling deals increasing.

God bless the Nigerian Army and other security agencies for doing their best to crush Boko Haram. One day this administration will pay for the evil they have presided over.

The Blood they are sharing in Nigeria - There is God ooo!

Obinoscopy: Actually I'm just seeing that post (https://www.nairaland.com/1906118/president-oritsejafor-admits-ownership-cash-stacked).

However, I don't think it is obscured. It has amassed 6 pages and close to 4000 views.

As regards the bolded, you are right. What led to the rejoinder shld have made frontpage. But the thread you mentioned (https://www.nairaland.com/1906118/president-oritsejafor-admits-ownership-cash-stacked) wasn't wss led to the rejoinder. It's el-Rufai/Lai Muhammed's sponsored thread that should have graced the homepage. I'm yet to see one.
Do you know how far that thread would have gone had it not been left in the dungeons of the politics board??
Politics › Re: Seized Aircraft: CAN Attacks El Rufai, Lai Mohammed by omenka(m): 9:06am On Sep 17, 2014
I love the replies I'm seeing here!! Nigerians are finally getting it right!!

When SR broke the news about the ownership of of the aircraft, it didn't make the front page!

When premiumtimes broke the news about the seizure, it didn't make front page!!

Now CAN blasts El Rufai over the same story, and it has finally made front page!!! Wow!!!

I bet this isn't going as the mods imagined it would go!!!

CAN, TAN, JonaTAN and Oritsedumbfuck are a disgrace to this country!!!!

Politics › Re: National Security Adviser’s Office fingered In Arms Purchase Scandal by omenka(m): 4:26am On Sep 17, 2014
A spokesman for South Africa’s National Prosecuting Authority disclosed that the country’s investigators found the Nigerian arms buyers with invoices from two South
African firms called Tier One and ESD. The invoices were for armaments and a helicopter.

According to South Africa’s CityPress, “In court papers, the NPA submitted evidence that Tier One is not registered
with the National Conventional Arms Control Committee and is thus not authorized to enter into any agreements
regarding the sale and/or rental of military equipment.”
From the above, even a toddler would know this is an illegal arms racket and whoever is involved must desire such arms for sinister purposes.

“The use of raw cash by government to buy weapons abroad is not appropriate. Look at all the embarrassment now,” said the source. “It’s the kind of system used by
criminals and shady organizations,” he added.
The truth is, the FG we have at the moment is a Criminal Organization!
Politics › Re: National Security Adviser’s Office fingered In Arms Purchase Scandal by omenka(m): 4:21am On Sep 17, 2014
masterpower: why are you very myopic?
You are aware that the FG has been importing arms, hellicopters and jets since last 2weeks to fight APC-BOKOHARAM.

Its an official government arms deal with the private firm.
Shut up. Since when did governments start making purchases involving such volume of cash using raw cash?? I have said it before and I'm saying it again, Aso Rock is actively involved in the sustenance of the ongoing war in the North!! They want to significantly reduce or totally eliminate likely opposition votes from that region ahead of 2015. The FG government is deliberately sabotaging the military.

dekronik: I like your sense of maturity. But I still believ the 3000 soldiers would have helped us more against BH.
Anyone who thinks we need some foreign intervention, especially from the West, to rid the country of terrorists must be really naïve and poor student of history!
Iraq isn't faring any better then it was under Sadam.
Afghanistan isn't faring any better than it was under the Taliban.
Libya isn't faring any better than it was under Gadaffi.

The only record US has of a successful intervention, in recent history, was when they fought alongside the Mujahideen (not sure of my spelling) to expel Russia from Afghanistan (but mind you, that was strictly a war with another country and not against terrorism in which case rules of engagement are hardly observed).

Nigeria on its own has what it takes to crush the group. All we need is a strong government at the centre.
Politics › Re: Shocking: Obama Sends 3000 Soldiers To Fight Ebola In West Africa by omenka(m): 2:59pm On Sep 16, 2014
cooljude: i changed my initial comment due to what i read on washintonpost, i hope that is what they intend doing. The problem people have with big nations is just the general view that no matter what they do they are after their interest. I wish those countries affected severely by Ebola well.
It is not a "view", it is a fact!! Even the country themselves say so. And if I were the president of a country, I would never do anything which isn't in the interest of my country. In international relations and diplomacy, extreme as it may sound, selfishness comes before altruism! Infact, that is a fundamental principle in "patriotism" and diplomacy.

evegran: . Now it is apparent you're one of those sadists from other tribes who doesn't appreciate the development of Akwa Ibom state or even the development of places outside your tribe. I can smell jealousy all around ya! And you're delighted my state is going through this. Well as a proud oron lady, I'm optimistic for my state- so how about you save your criticisms or pile em up together and throw em at your Gov whoever the Bleep he is.
Oron, wow!!! You even my inlaw!!

For the record, I'm not happy your state is going through this, and I'm no sadist. I desire the best for Nigeria as a whole but I dare say the crop of "leaders" we have at the moment can not take us to where we desire to be, not by a long shot!! Akpabio is one of those "leaders" and my inlaw who lives in Uyo told me a coupla weeks ago that the governor's supposed accomplishments are hugely exaggerated!!

With what has accrued to the state since '07, Akwa Ibomites were hugely short changed. That, at least, you must admit.

Politics › Re: New Intelligence Reports On Boko Haram by omenka(m): 11:28am On Sep 16, 2014
The latest intel is that the CAN president has been gun-running for the terrorists!!

So far, every known political and religious figure that has been shown to have links with the terror group is a close associate of the president or at least member of PDP!! Yet the presidency insists on feeding Nigerians with raw lies!!

I hope they upgrade kirikiri to a canadian prison standard, cos that would be their final abode come 2015!!
Politics › Re: We’re Broke, Akwa Ibom Govt Cries Out by omenka(m): 11:19am On Sep 16, 2014
evegran: OP your title is misleading! He said Akwa Ibom needs more money, he didn't say Akwa Ibom is broke (penny-less). You had to rush and place an eye catching title with an obvious lack of understanding of the issue you've posted, obviously to get front page attention. Shameful! Read and understand the news before you decide to translate it properly (as it is) or translate it stupidly (as you like, not caring about little facts). Oh and a lot of senseless comments from some folks on here, clearly majority of you read without understanding. Shame!
You sound so pained. Are you the governor's squeeze??cheesy
