Arva: Do you really have to see the chamber before you believe?
Some people are just plain silly. This shouldn't be news to anybody. We all know what goes in detention facilities around the country.

fr3do: This is part of the scheme to dampen the efforts of the Authorities in battling boko haram.
Recolonization is just shacking some people.
I keep trying to wrap my head around how some of you guys think, and time and time again, I can't seem to find my way around it!! How does pressurising the law enforcement agencies to stop the act of torture amount to dampening their effort to fight terrorismhuh If anything, nobodies like yourself should be happy for it cos people like you are the most likely candidates for such crimes. How many politicians have you ever heard spent days in detention and tutored without trial?? How many of them even get arrested?? At best they are "invited" and most often they don't show up!! You never can tell, the next victim could be your kith or kin.

Get some sense young man. You mustn't be a slave forever.
Politics › Re: Nigeria Accent Is The 10th Sexiest English Accent In The World by omenka(m): 10:40am On Sep 19, 2014
laudate: This must be a joke! We have so many different types of accents in Nigeria. Which one exactly, are they referring to?

Is it the Oyo accent, or the Igbo accent, the Edo accent, the Fulani accent, the Efik accent or what? shocked I don't get it oh! This is because, there is no such thing as a "Nigerian" accent! We have as many different accents, as there are tribes...

Have you heard Nigerians from different ethnic groups speak English? Can you compare the accent of the Bassa trader, with that of the Ibibio fisherman? huh

Or can you compare Ogbeni Aregbesola's accent in Osun, with that of Liyel Imoke of Cross River? Aren't they different?

This is a clear case of murder, mass murder, and it would be a terrible case of miscarriage of justice should TB Joshua not go to jail.

Hope Fashola doesn't disappoint me.

Politics › Re: APC Lying About Tinubu’s Health, Says PDP by omenka(m): 5:53am On Sep 19, 2014
Gbawe2: These sort of reply just show the blind and unthinking followership that now confirms that Nigerians are probably one of the most distracted and least politically sophisticated people in the World. Do you guys no longer even try to see let alone side with what is decent any more.

Tinubu, unless you are an APC member, is a private individual who is not currently holding any public office affecting you or anyone else who has commented here. You question and demand information about the health of a political leader if such affects their ability to serve you effectively otherwise mind your own business and give others the privacy you take for granted !!!! It is not just to allow ourselves to be herded into intrusive and callous behaviour by the divisive and indecent politics of enmity Nigerian leaders love to rope their followers into.

Tinubu health is a private affair and his privacy should be respected. The man has said, many times, he is well and what we can all see (which is what a decent and balanced person works with) confirms this. He is not infirm as is routinely rumoured these days and he continues, as far as the eyes can see, to function well. What more does anyone want, since some Nigerians don't accept limits of decency, other than to buy a coffin for a man who is getting on with his life while others wish him illness and death daily? The PDP is now overstepping its boundary to be claiming he must be ill without any evidence whatsoever. Should you guys not be speaking against such antics and malevolent intrusion against any one ? Or is it because it is Tinubu and you are PDP supporters then your personal decency is thrown out of the window? So much pettiness in Nigerian politics lately it is no wonder no one, not leaders or followers, talk about weighty and important issues anymore.
Most of these people are just misguided kids. Do well to ignore them.

Jonathan makes it awfully difficult for one not to call him names. His string of failures leave a whole world to be desired. What has the country done to deserve such abominable crop of men and women runing her affairs?? Everything appears to be going in one direction; backwards. Yet the man has time to confer on criminals and murderers National Honours!! This man makes me sick to my guts!!

And some nincompop would come here telling me to paint a rosy picture of this country whenever I talk about her on the web because that is what patriotism is about!!

We can paint a billion rosy pictures all we want but just as we would be about to paint the one billion and oneth picture, this satanicaly corrupt government of Ebele Jonathan would take a single swipe at the drawing board and ruin that picture including those that had been painted in the past!!!

Jonathan's government has failed this country on all fronts. Our international image is totally basterdised and so are our domestic institutions!! Just look at the embarrassment Ayo has brought to christians in the country!!

Shameless thieves and terrorists.

egift: Seconded! Time to be ignoring the most deficient of the TANiods. We will still offer a hand of fellowship to those still redeemable and comport themselves in civil manner and have some strains of intellect and facts.
Exactly. I'm more disposed to people whose arguments portray sound judgement, not necessarily in agreement with my opinion. It makes more sense engaging such persons rather than running around aimlessly with some empty headed incorrigible TANoids.

Ignore the urchin. He's an insignificant imposter.

@ post: we don't even need all these clarifications. The sons and daughters of the purveyors of the coven of darkness themselves know the person of GMB is an incorruptible peace loving gentleman whose image towers way above that of anyone known to them dead or alive!!
All that is being said is just a case of repeating a lie so often it starts assuming the shape of truth. grin
We know the technique that's why we have elected to ignore most of them when they come blasting with all those lies!!

And we all know, everyone fingerred so far in acts of terrorism are known associates of the president, from Sheriff to Ihejirika to Sambo to Senator xyz to Terry G's bell ringer Oritseblingbling!!

By the way, the picture seems to be getting clearer when you throw in that Bayelsa state govt's abandoned property in Lagos that was used to warehouse illegal arms!!!

Jonathan will definitely go down like Laurent Gbagbo!!

Only recently, on this same forum, news about the government buying new fighter jets was celebrated (www.nairaland.com/1882056/boko-haram-fg-acquires-12). And in another thread, pics of newly acquired assault helicopters were posted.

My question is: where was the arms embargo when those deals were struck and sealedhuh

The government is lying!!!
Politics › Re: Govt Officials Blame The US For Arms Purchase Scandal. by omenka(op):
Honestly this government is shameless!!! Something is terribly wrong somewhere!! They say they chose to do this covertly and that the money was meant for the purchase of arms and helicopters. Now, how did they intend to ferry equipment as large as choppers out of SA without getting spotted by the authorities?? Were they intending to "teleport" the items to Nigeria?? Do they think SA is like Nigeria where ships and tankers just disappear without a trace??

We are yet to hear the last of this story honestly. I think we are just scratching the surface here.

And if I may ask, was it not just recently we were celebrating the acquisition of some state of the art military helicopters by the government to fight the terrorists? Was the US embargo not in effect as at that time which was just about a week agohuh
Why didn't they approach thesame company in this case if despite US' blockade they were still able to make supplieshuh

This government is a terrible lair!! angry
Politics › Re: Govt Officials Blame The US For Arms Purchase Scandal. by omenka(op): 9:04am On Sep 18, 2014
sunnshyn: President Goodluck Jonathan, ok. But wait I have a question sir. You people were desperate after America and co refused selling arms to us and so you 'cargoed' almost $10m in cash to SA without informing them(SA govt) first?

2) In your desperation, you couldn't find any other means of transfer except using Ayo's Jet?

3) When you realized that America wasn't going to sell, who did you tell? None of the citizen you swore to protect heard about it, if indeed you think we need not know intially, why then are you telling us now?

Even if all you have alledged is true, don't your excellency think that you and your cohorts have shamelessly acted in an embarrassing manner which may further severe our relationships with SA govt?

In case you didn't know sir, Nigerians are treated with disdain and disgust here in SA because of issues like this. They think we are all criminals, both govt and citizens and so we are avoided like plagues...

Answers to the above questions are needed.
Kai my sister!!!! May God increase your wisdom!! A million likes for you!!
