It would have been easy to combat terrorists with the cooperation of the citizens but Nigerians don't trust in their government enough to cooperate with them. Cooperation comes with trust and loyalty.

Politics › Re: Corruption In Nigeria: Is It Reducing Or Increasing? by omiobo: 8:55pm On Mar 31, 2013
take dat: It is difficult to ascertain or access the level of corruption because we do not run an open government where government data is accessible, rather corruption can only be measured in terms of perception. Corruption is a complex issue with a vast array of determinants. Based on the latest rating of gallup poll and transparency international, corruption seem to be on the increase especially political corruption and bureaucratic corruption.

Secondly, your post is only centred on the federal level leaving out the state and local government levels where corruption is also institutionalised.
Inflation of contracts and ambiguous overheads still prevails even at the federal level. Can you honestly say that the amount voted for capital expenditure is proportionate to the projects being executed? The performance on capital project for 2012 stood at 40%.

Thirdly, the president's cavalier attitude towards the fight against corruption is discouraging especially, the latest "PARDONGATE" and him having cabinet members with allegations of financial impropriety hanging on their heads. Our judiciary is corrupt with their two-for-one-kobo and get-out-of-jail cards convictions, we have a national assembly of corruption and the anti-graft agencies are now toothless. Infact, corruption is the 37th state of the federation.
Wetin difficult to ascertain? Guy,corruption increase badly. Look around, you will see the results of corruption.

In fact according to the guys both male and female claimed 75% of people JTF have been killing claiming to be boko haram members are innocent civilians and mostly villagers mtcheewww . you guys better ask for international support
Oga think well o. You dey complain of JTF killing innocents,at the same time asking for international support. Will international support come without drones, which will destroy the whole north?

Orikinla: But millions will be caught napping.

When I got the tip off, most people on Nairaland thought I was joking until the Daily Sun made the screaming cover headline BOKO HARAM ENTER LAGOS.
I am only feeling sorry for the poor and defenceless masses.
God has already given my family maximum security home and abroad.
The righteous one like us has nothing to fear.
It is well inside well.

Afam4eva: So, Big Sean is now bigger than D'Banj. How are the mighty fallen, tell it not in Ogbomoso, publish it not in the streets of Lagos. It seems as though D'Banj is starting from square one. Why not remain a king where you come from and where you're appreciated than been a slave somewhere else.
