For those craving for call recorder, there's a small hack

1. You need root privileges

2. You need aosp dialer, not google dialer. Apk below

3. Install aosp dialer, grant all permissions and set as default dialer

4. Make a folder called 'Dialer' in system/product/priv-app

5. Set 0755 permission for that folder

6. Paste dialer.apk in the new folder.

7. Set 0644 permission for apk.

8. Reboot.
