Politics / Re: Senators Plot To Impeach Yar'adua by OmoAlex: 11:38am On Jan 19, 2010 |
We are at dire straits now in Nigeria, If we say we dont want civil war or military intervention then our only hope is this toothless unreliable senate * House of Reps. They are going to have to make a decision on this sooner or later. They will rather wait till the last minute, that we cannot afford. We therefore need more ingenious ways of forcing them to take the decision sooner. If the SNG protests don't work, we need to start targetting their concubines, sugar daddies and mommies with local african manipulative technology, furthermore, they need to start having nightmares every single night that they cant "get it up" anymore and then we lock up their manhood with "agadagodo" making sure it doesnt work as long as the case is unresolved. These are my humble sudgestions |

$10 b Wow, and they are always forming like they dont send us in Naija. If the remittance is in good faith, then we welcome and applaud you But if it is so that you will have something to brag about, then get in line cos its a very long queue and $10b is just registration money Nevertheless, that is what you call Patriotism |
Politics / Re: Sanusi: Derugulation Will Cause Inflation by OmoAlex: 10:32pm On Nov 06, 2009 |
OK OK OK OK OK If you still insist on Deregulation then there is no problem. We are ready to pay NGN105 per Liter of Petrol or whatever "market price" the almighty market forces determine only if you make sure that the refineries are up and running, New refineries are built to satisfy internal demand and The NNPC cartel is disbanded or reorganised into a more transparent and accountable entity. If they are telling us to sacrifice and embrace a new lifestyle, then business definitely cant go on as usual for them also Is that 2 much to ask? |

hee hee heee See FOOl calling a FOOL a FOOL aasog: Where is the 6000MW? in your Village? are you in this country at all? dont let me yab you oh aasog: LWKMD What mastermind Obasanjo could not do in 8 years on diabolical and tyranicall rule, you think a less intelligent Yaradua will be able to do in 20 years? Yet again, no point here aasog: Not too sure of your geography skills, amnesty was targeted to the niger delta and not to the east. whether the amnesty was a smart move or a disaster will be revealed in the next couple of months, lets wait and see aasog: blah blah blah blah Try speaking about MDA, MDG, 2010 budget, supplementary budget to the hundred of hungry millions in the country. Questions you should be answering are, Is Nigeria safer under Yaradua? has the Price of Garri come Down under Yaradua? Am I able to afford good education for my kids under Yaradua? When i fall sick or have an accident, will I receive good medical treatment or will i die meaninglessly in the hospital under Yaradua? Have I become more of a fool under Yaradua ? |

Politics / Re: Sanusi: Derugulation Will Cause Inflation by OmoAlex: 12:55pm On Nov 06, 2009 |
@ Gbawe - It is when our leaders have finished deceiving us and have sold us to the highest bidder that they start to talk in Parables and Figuratives. Nigeria spends 700M everyday to subsidize. That is just 700 nigerians chopping 1M per day a meager amount as compared to 120M population Deregulation could just simply mean another 700M per day to share around. If Nigerians are being asked to cope with substandard conditions of living, then Government too should be able to cope with 700m per day subsidy until they fix and build more refineries |

baumolina: Sanusi is a human being Wow when did that happen . I thought he was God and other bank cheifs and the rest of us Nigerians were Ignoramuses and Criminals fit for the Death Sentence. Where was his human nature when his fellow human beings were being summarilly tried and disgraced, there is kerosence scarcity cos foreign banks wont accept naija letter of credit anymore, pilgrims started fighting in Mecca cos their travellers checks were labelled fraudulent |

Politics / Re: Sanusi: Derugulation Will Cause Inflation by OmoAlex: 11:14am On Nov 06, 2009 |
Hee heee heee heee See all these bagga's Deregulation Ko Deregulation Ni It is so easy to be objective when you sit in the comfort of an arm chair several thousands of kilometers away in obodo oyinbo where things work and tell the poor man in naija that he will have to pay more for garri and rice because the government is tired of paying a cartel huge sum's of money that it wouldnt have had to pay if its refineries were working. So because the government is tired of maintaining its refineries, paying subsidies, and tired of taking care of its citizens, it has no choice than to deregulate U just dont get the point |
Politics / Re: Nigeria: Power Crisis And Prosperity by OmoAlex: 2:39pm On Nov 03, 2009 |
The solution to the problem of Power (electricity) in the country is not rocket science. all it takes is One Strong Political Will, Good logistics and Project management and serious political pressure from the strong political will. Obasanjo had everything in place, he had the supplus crude oil funds to pay upfront mobilizatoin fee's for the projects, he had the NIPP plan etc but when the rubber met the road, the quality of that substance in his skull gave way. Insanity, stupidity, self destruct tendencies, lethargy, all diseases of the mind are the same. The problem was not corruption. Nigeria is a corrupt country in the midst of fellow corrupt nations ( who by the way are more developed than us) who just happen to happen to have a lower corruption rate. Corruption has and will always be with us as it has always been in other developed countries but they are still developed. If you pay a man to do an important job for you and because because he pays you kick back, you do not make sure that he does the Job and doesnt do something that will end up killing you, that is not Corruption, THAT IS INSANITY |
Politics / Re: Nigeria: Power Crisis And Prosperity by OmoAlex: 11:26am On Nov 03, 2009 |
See, corruption is not our problem, It is possible for Nigeria to be corrupt and still generate enough electricity for the nation, build good roads, equip hospitals. It is possible for me as a corrupt contractor to inflate a road construction contract, collect 98% mobilization, settle my boys at the ministry and due process office, bribe all bribables and still construct a good road. Jullius berger n co worked in very corrupt enviroments, they did what they had to do to get the contracts but their work still remains even after many years. Our main problem is stupidity and lack of intelligent reasoning in high office both at those giving contracts and those receiving the contracts. so it is a problem of Power (Leadership) crises and Prosperity |

Na wa for our chronic Amnesia for Naija oh Is it not the same Ribadu that disregarded all human rights and dignity in order to please and protect his boss ? The Torture tzar is now trying to inspire sympathy from the same people he held in so much disregard while in power by hanging around people with credibility. We still remember you oh Ribadu, all this one na wuru wuru |
Politics / Re: Nigerians Taking Over Africa by OmoAlex: 11:54pm On Oct 20, 2009 |
Duduknight: Do normal human beings sit and smile while you are hacked and mobbed to death, set alight with a tire around your neck, have your shops looted, have your women violated and killed, all of this while doing nothing to deserve such babarities The author was simply reiterating the fact that Nigerian's will fight to protect themselves and their interests regardless of where they are in the world without fear of anybody. This trait is very scarce anywhere else on the continent |
