delivite: It means our police force at the highest level is not capable of mounting a clandestine operation? Is that what you want me to understand? Let's not blame the police for leaks in their rank, let's blame the press
You responded to me with maturity, I'm doing the same...Ignoring the other stupid fools that resort to name calling. So let's talk about this. Is the press responsible for leakage of information within the NPF? Leakages of information is not limited to only the Nigerian police, virtually all government parastatals. Am not blaming the press either because I believe they are doing their job ..so also the police force in totality can't be blamed because they didn't issue any press release that they want or are planning to arrest anybody.. The Nigerian police force don't work that way. . |

This cat and mouse game has got to stop. If you have enough case to arrest someone, arrest them. Heaven will not fall on top of earth! It doesn't work that way, the police force didn't call for any press conference where they told us they want to arrest anybody. .the newspaper outlet only reported through various sources in the police.. . |

Etinosajay: I understand you're trying to hide what is glaring. the bride is an Edo girl or wasn't that stated there? Was it convenient for people from your tribe to happily derail the thread, with such brazen lies and display of ignorance?
The history between Eko (lagos) and benin empire is widely known, and I will not bother saying anything of it, as I am unsure of what version you know of it.
From your definition of what etiosa means, I take it that osa means river.
Osa in my language means God. Do you then conclude that Edo is yoruba land?
Such disrespect for other tribes as is customary of your folks is what irritates me. Really, I wouldn't have joined this topic had it being my mom maiden name is not miss ogunsuyi , my mum is from akoko edo in edo state, she is yoruba likewise dele momodu is also from edo state and he is also yoruba. ..I don't like the fact that you said edo state people don't bear yoruba names.. ..that is a big lie Bro. ..my cousins in edo state all bear yoruba names. ...besides that ogenyi onazi and the lady wore agbada and aso oke.. ..that's what they call aso ebi in yoruba culture.. .my brother that lady is yoruba.. ..argue with your gods

Budget will be centralized in the region even if its one dollar than having to settle with little or no federal presence in the region.
As a nation, many multi national coy will have head offices in one state of the nation or may not operate at all.
Will have its own central bank.

overall90: there is one fact people keep forgetting.if igbos leave Lagos today, the Lagos that will be left behind will be different from the Lagos as it is known today.the economic activities will be severely affected. In 1993,during the June 12 crisis, between June and August of that year.a lot of Igbos left Lagos for the East and because of the heavy bank withdrawals and very few economic activities, many banks nearly collapsed.any body who doubts should ask. so the issue of igbos being illegal immigrants in Lagos will never arise rather it should be the other way. Lol.. .that is the assumption you guys made that you developed Lagos and if you leave Lagos ,the economy of Lagos will cripple..they are lots of multi nationals, companies owned by foreigners and they pay tax. If some traders decides to leave doesn't mean our economy will cripple, other people will take over and life goes on my brother. ..the bank theory you gave is not relevant.. Banks weren't regionalized in 1993, so if igbos withdraw their money in a Nigerian bank in Lagos state won't they deposit it in another Nigerian bank in the east. .so in your own thinking withdrawals will cripple Lagos.. As if igbos are the only one in Lagos.. .the truth is you guys want One Nigeria more than anybody |

You don't need to worry about the welfare of Igbos and Easterners.
BTW, when did Yorubas begin caring for the Igbos that they so much detest? If Yorubas, without hesitation, colluded with their Northern masters to almost annihilate the Igbos just because the Igbos sought a separate existence in 1967-70 then you lots are simply playing to the gallery with your usual hypocrisy and double-faced mien.

is it possible to live with humans anywhere and not have disagreement, including members of same family? why must you rob it on your face? Guy stop deceiving yourself, you can't.. Nigeria is too ethnocentric for that kind of thing, we have not advanced to that stage yet, every attempt at integration has failed e.g nysc..
