me i would prefer to settle down with a man who earns higher than me.
if i have a job that pays more, i will either have to get part time or quit. i want him to take the lead. part time or full time to support your pay. not full time to carry the household on my head while your butter your ego.

the men here got long throat. how come you bring your wife here and then ask her to go into nursing school? what a cheap way to get rich. go to nursing sch yourself. let your wife go to college and not just nursing.

you have to go to Nigeria gathering, bd party etc to see them. they usually dress alike with their wife paying the whole bills and buying that baba agba dress they put on only to come home and complain your wife dissed you undecided undecided
commot for road wink

some nig men don't know how to control their anger. their wife dey vex (due to stress) and the men rage on.
there is one i know he is lpn, they came visiting my sister and out of no where he started complaining abt his wife who was also there. once he beat her right in front of us. i was on hols and sat glue to tv. the next thing i heard was one large slap. my sis was sooooo mad and asked him to leave her house. he came by later to apologize. i told my sis that was really rude. . . beating her in our presence, i asked her why don't she or the lady call 911?
my aunt was like it's left for the woman to do herself o.
they are seperated now, i fear nig man rage o

Nairaland GeneralRe: Nigerian Nurses Beware? by omoge(f): 4:29pm On Aug 18, 2008
stress is a bad thing.  most of them are working long hours yet still come home to care for their kids. stress of living abroad can be really hectic (even student sef get stress) not to talk of working like a horse.

how many of the men run the bathtub for their hardworking wife? they come back to still cook their meal or grab a mac/burger on their way home. how many of the guys cook great meals for their hard working wife? how many of them still take time with all their money to go out to a cozy resturant to eat and catch up with things going on in the house? how many still having a good sex (they say it is important in marriage). why the woman no go vex? and like a typical Nigeria man, instead of finding out why your wife is always upset, you rage on too.  aha!!

stress could be a factor that triggerdc the nurses annoyance with their husband. to think you are the breadwinner instead of your hubby, you work long hours, no enough sleep who no go vex for small thing?

the thing is for the men to get a job and also help their wife with household work. . . and try to encourage their wife do at least maybe 10hours of work.
again people should not be too greedy to get this and that. too much of everything is bad.

yeah i think less calories too. . . think of it, tuwon is very common among them. it is a light meal. after eating tuwon, i'm always hungry.
compare that with iyan or pondo man, that na hell blazer. their meals are lighter than the ones we have in the south/east/west.

they also don't add orishirishi to their cookings,

imagine ogbono/egusi/stew with just meat or fish?  grin

how many of us will eat a meal without meat or fish or orishirishi? the northernal could eat plain soup.
