abridged version:
my parents are from the same place, my moms family compound is within walking distance from my dad and her elder brothers where his friends.  They remained friends through primary school, secondary school, lost contact when my dad moved to the US to attend college in the late seventies, my mother was just finishing her degree at ABU  and  was in london on vacation.  A friend of a friend  had come to the US from london, met up with my dad at a party they started talking about females and my mom's name popped up in the conversation and if he (my dad) knew she was engaged to a boy from there place, according to my dad the friend starts saying how good mommy looked, that she had finished college and so on.  My dad then decides to write her a letter "just to say hi and long time", but my mother doesnt reply for like 3months one day out of the blue my dad recieves a card in the mail and its from my mom.  He tells her he will be in naija and like to see her and they have been together for the last 29 years.

Sorry there is nothing you can do personally to make him impotent. Since you know of his numerous affairs I suggest you leave him, if that is not an option for you at the moment and you still plan on sleeping with him mke sure he covers it up, becuase AIDS is real o, you dont want to catch some nonsense he picked up from ashewo. You are hurting, try and channel your anger somewhere else, do things that will uplift your spirit and self esteem something that will take your mind off him.

I'm just thinking off the top of my head but you could get one of those food choppers or even do it in your blender just use the chopping setting, it may not work for the potato but it might work for the carrots.

@geegee glad that you are staying healthy, dont let this matter stress you just keep taking care of yourself, and your kids. For your mom, try and explain to her that you are healthy, your CD4+ is high and your viral load is low, I'm sure if you take time and explain to her these facts she will stop crying and lamenting and realize that her daughter will live a long and fullfiling life.

im a coffee drinker to, especially on exam days Starbucks is my best friend. I hear alot about coffee, it seems like every week they are doing another study on it.one week too much coffe is bad, the next they have found something in coffee that fights cancer. Best advice is drink it in moderation. For me not as easy to do cause there are some days I drink 3 grandes.

sorry it didnt work for you but we use the can coconut milk to cook rice, and it never comes out mushy. We add one can of coconut milk into our tomato/pepper mixture. so when it cooks the rice has a red color to it, just like jollof. You might be adding too much, we just use 1 Goya can for a whole pot of rice.
