The Maritime University was not scrapped. The already existing Maritime Academy of Nigeria Oron, Akwa Ibom State was to be upgraged to a University standard.

Thanks, I didn't know that MAN Oron was being planned for upgrading. But that is coming rather too late. I am of the opinion that government is continuity. Granted that the last government should not have started a new maritime university based on your information, however since they have started and spent billions of Naira.

I think they should leave MAN Oron as an academy solely at it has always been for Seafarers & give us the university for public.

Do you know how much Nigerians have spent going to University of Swansea in the last one decade on LLM Maritime?

I think there is a law against all these form of indecency this guy has been putting up on the public. One day, the police will arrest him & charge him to court.
