The National Association of Nigerian Students President Sunday Dayo, is a Special Adviser to Fayemi undecided
So many students and youths groups are affiliated with either PDP or APC
Those are less than 1% of Nigerian population as regard to our young population . We don't need people that can easily be compromised by a pot of pottage .We need young men and women that are principled (just like how the ENDSARS ignored money various bags from some corrupt politicians ) enough to ignore temptation from our corrupt politicians . Secondly , you don't have to be a perssimist except you like the way Nigeria is being run to the ground .
We need a genuine change which must be done through a United front by serious ,intelligent young Nigerians .

Are you aware 90% of political parties are been Sponsor by PDP and APC huh
Investigate those behind those unblemished parties 1st , before marketing them to the public. APC or PDP might end sponsoring youth candidates in this parties and they will decamp back later.
that will be our first task before choosing who can work with us from any of these presumed unblemished parties .
There will definately be an underground investigation with any party we intend to work with, including thier structures.I think there must be a way out or What do you suggest then ?

You seem like a good patriot that still love her motherland, despite how cruel she has been to her citizens . I hope this thread pick up steam and gains the momentum just the way ENDSARS did .
Before going far and wide ,try gather some bright and intelligent mind in an open forum such as this ,so as to set out guidelines and regulation on how to manage this people forum which will be made up of youth. The forum must be designed to follow strictly toward a particular purpose, so that it will not he derailed or manipulated out of direction .If you can get the structures in place then it can be regulated when it goes far and wide like twitter ,Instagram & Facebook . You can start with topic like "The Nigerian youth forum " or Nigerian youth : Let talk . or Let take our country back :join us .bla bla bla.
We can't have able bodied men and women who are only good at lamenting online without thinking on how to outsmart these our demonic old leader, who do not care if Nigeria burns to the ground .They are ready to burn everything to the ground as long as they continue to line thier pocket with Stolen wealth .
I admire your spirit of patriotism ...We need detribalized intelligent youth to help out here.

me personally I don't think buhari is the problem of Nigeria and it is impossible for someone to think one person can change the fortune of a country.

i think our number one enemy in governance are the lawmaker and our judiciary system which is organise to favor the political elite,

we are always complaining how our constitution is bad, outdated and to top it up it only favors a section of people in a country. and still yet our lawmakers will never make any attempt to fix it, only when the election is near you will see them during campaign talking about "restructuring" which is the new scam code now.

to make it short if we are to have a saner government I think the power we take to always call out the president, we should divert it in calling out our lawmakers.. thank God unlike the sitting president and governors who can't be driven or sacked from office till there term is completed, the lawmakers can be recall out of office.. any lawmaker that is not passing favorable laws and not check mating the president failures and excesses should be recall. all we need is to come out in numbers in whatever constituency we belong to put them on there toes...

this particular suggestion would not automatically solve all Nigeria problem but it is a starting point to make our leaders accountable....
Have you read the processes of recalling lawmakers in Nigeria ? It's not as straight forward as you think .
Our present constitution is the problem .If we could have another constitution by Nigerians ,then we can have a better country .

I just mentioned those young unblemished parties, unlike the evil mega parties like the APC & PDP that are already filed up with monster we call leaders .
The most important factor here is to form a United front and speak with one voice through our vote . By achieving that, we must all agree on one ideology and a well methodology in achieving our vision of effecting change in our country through our joint numbers.

The status-quo is clearly visible for all to see, as the state of the nation has deteriorated so badly like we've never experienced before, from poorly developed infrastructures, total negligence in leadership, security issues and more...

thing is... it is apparently open for all to see that we are being dealt with by a set of oligarchs who would stop at nothing to continue to impoverish us till infinity.

A government that detest democracy for it people, by it's people and to it's people. A reason using protest as a tool against bad governance will never add up.

Here I am seeking intelligent Nigerians to collectively come up with suggestions and strategies that can be adopted to end bad governance in Nigeria

You that you are asking if Nigeria is cursed, also remember that at the peak of covid19 last year a lot of people abroad wished they were in Africa because of the low cases of deaths we were recording despite the fact that we weren't even keeping with the protocols

The problem with Africa boils down to leadership, corruption and interference from the west
Nigeria is fast becoming a failed state, where criminals and bandit are called for dialogue and paid to drop down their arms while harmless citizens are killed on a daily basis. It is a cursed country with terrible leaders and bad followers.
There is nothing to celebrate and emulate in this God forsaken banana republic. We are a disgrace to the rest of the African continent and the black race.

Even with all Tinubus' support for the Fulani's and thier cattle colony! His silence in the face of Fulani siege in his region and their various crimes against his own people . The various cries from his people for thier leaders to speak up and to defend them against these headmen menace, but there was no response from him .
The only time we heard from him again was during his party registration exercise and his voice was head but only regarding his party affairs .
Even with all his asslicking and readiness to throw his own people under the bus just to save his neck and his ambition , this same Fulani he so much worshipped over his people, have come for him and ready to prob him for what ? For a something even thier own people are all guilty off? We all know this is witch hunting, just to weaken his quest to contest for the upcoming presidential election.
Next time he should learn how to stick with his own people for they will be the ones to fight & defend him when his suppose enemy comes for his head .
Tinubu, as well as other Yoruba leaders(especially under this wicked party )are all sell out and betrayals to thier people .only a hand full were able to speak up against these menance .
This act should teach us a lesson that a good leader is not about which party they belong to but who they really are.. From our observation, we found out that the leaders across APC & PDP really failed thier people, when they needed them the most .
Therefore , we should & must identify a good leader and vote for him in which ever party he belong . Just like what Edo did with Obaseki . they followed him from APC to PDP , becos they wanted him and not the party .
We must stop glorifying leaders that are coward , selfish and lack empathy . I believe we have such people but the problem is that the Nigerian political space is too toxic for them to function .

You cant blackmail people just becos you want the presidency...You cannot get it on a platter of plate, just like that. You guys have to work for it .Especially starting off from your LG,and your various state where you have Igbos. Then you should proceed to lobbying with non Igbos in the south south, who have always by your side ,then the south west, Middle belt and The Northern regions. That is what you guys are suppose to be doing now. By making friends across board& closing bridges , mending fences and not by issuing out threat and black mail.
Beside, this country need reform at this point in time and not by doing our turn syndrome' that will change things. Even if the Igbos or any other ethnic group get the presidency, it will not make any difference.Maybe a bit better than this clueless human being we have there. Stop deceiving yourself .The Yorubas dont need the "numbers" of Igbos or other Southerners for any socio-economic purpose.

Others, especially Igbos, would be a hindrance to us. Yorubas know this and that is why we already have the DAWN commission that created a comprehensive preparatory document laying the groundwork for a successful socio-economic integration of the entire SW region.

http://dawncommission.org/

I suggest you stop the garbage you're peddling and busy yourself with the prospect of the socio-economic prospect of your own people in an independent nation 100% minus the Yorubas.

Yoruba intelligentsia fully understand they do not need others to host a very successful and independent nation. They know the SW is the first and foremost regional economy of Nigeria and it is people like you being emotional.

Look at what Yoruba intelligentsia has done to date, with actual documented road map in place, to see it is not about my voice being heard and entirely about the implementation of what Yoruba leaders and elites have prepared for. For a long time now.

I disagree with you. A united south will make it easier for the terrorist north to conquer and infiltrate. They will conquer the south through Yoruba Muslims. South west will be their gateway to the entire south. The way America infiltrated EU through Britain will be the way north will infiltrate the south through Yoruba based on religious similarity. To your ternt oh .....
This your analogy . Is After disintegration or before? Becos if it before ,how will that happen? when the whole place would be tense ? Then if it's after, when a country has been formed. Then how will that happened with international borders in place ? This will not be the usual borous borders which is allowed becos north is affiliated with thier kin in chad and Niger.
This time around, the south will be a hostile place to the Fulani heatdmen .Visa will only be issued to those that are worthy to come into the South . By this time we would have a choice to accept and reject who ever is a potential risk to our society .

@OP.

Should the condition arise for Nigeria to separate then better believe Yorubas are going it alone.

We are not going to jump out of the frying pan of Nigeria's negative multi-ethnicity, that has weighed heaviest on the SW and Yorubas, to go and jump into the fire of a new national alliance with Igbos or others.

Yorubas will form their own nation. Others can apply for a residence or visiting visa to our new and exclusively Yoruba nation.
Easier said than done .The funny thing is that when that times comes, your voice will not be heard, becos it's only the voice of reason that will prevail .
Serious decision like this are not made base on emotions and over bloated ego .Decisions of this nature are made base on proper analysis of what is obtainable to form a country of people with similar ideology .With a United South we will still have the numbers for economic purpose .

The South wil be 3 Countries that way no Ethnic group can dominate others and everyone can manage their resources by themselves.
SE,SW& SS will be divided into provinces where they will have thier prime minister and pay tax to the Fed govt .By this method , nobody will feel oppressed .
This region will sub devided into state & LG which will be closer to the people .
All we need are great minds from the south to brainstorm on the proper road map and a goal that we Southern nation must follow in other to leave this retrogressive way of life .
One important thing that must to be eradicated from our system and public space is religion .It must be banned from our political space it's a poison that need to be put away. SouthNigerian:
It is inevitable that Nigeria will disintegrate before or after 2023. It is important for the whole South to operate as a Nation. Reasons:

1. The North would become a den of terrorists. A divided South Nigeria would be easier for a terrorist North to conquer. A unified South would become too solid to be infiltrated.

2. Majority wahala in a Biafran Nation won't be a problem, as a Country comprising the Yoruba, Igbo, Ijaw, Idoma, Edo tribes etc would be a perfect balance.

3. The Forward Looking and Innovativeness of the South would make her a Legacy in Africa and the world. We will compete with world powers.

4. The South will dominate Africa through Education, business, Innovations, entertainment, sports.

5. South Nigeria is the opportunity for a flourished Africa. What we become determines the fate of Africa.

6. South Nigeria would become the number one destination for investors, tourists etc in Africa.

7. South Nigeria would become the true definition of African Ability.

LASTLY

8. Igbo, Edo girls like Yoruba Boys. Igbo men like the phat assed Yoruba girls. My baby Mama is from Delta while my current girlfriend is an Imolite.

CONCLUSION:
Do not fall for the new division tactics from the caliphate. The caliphate believe anything can happen, be it Biafra, Oduduwa or Niger Delta Nations. The caliphate knows that a three Nation from the South would make it easier for the caliphate to expand.
The caliphate is now spreading a new propaganda how the Igbos, Yorubas and Niger Deltans can't live together as one entity.

We Must Seek To Stay Together As A Nation, SOUTH NIGERIA.
