If any of our members knows the  Post Mr Yusuf Akure referred to, please publish it in full on this Thread and let me clear myself.  Otherwise, for God's sake, please allow my friend  to publish where I made jest of him whenever his battery is fully charged.                                                                 We are  friends and co-patentees. We are not fighting.  But I have my  "username" to protect so as to protect my "real name" when revealed at the appropriate time.                                               I thank Yusuf for his magnanimity  of  not keeping silent with   malice.                                                                     Who knows how my friend got his new alias of "Usefulman"?                                            ~OMOKEMESI

@airmark, grateful for your prompt observation and remark. @Yusuf Akure, thank you for your latest post where you alleged that I made jest of you and was happy that you were banned by certain international forums. Please do me a favour. Quote the entire POST and publish it on this Thread as soon as you charge your battery. Happy weekend to you and all viewers. ~OMOKEMESI

DEAR PATRIOTIC                COLLEAGUES                                                       I admire your posts and give my unflinching support to your suggestions.                                                I observe a little problem that might tend to hinder our efforts. That is freedom of choice, speech and actions which nobody can, or has authority to control on this Thread or elsewhere.                                                        For instance, not all of us will obey not to reply non-members' posts. Where they post false claims, let us post the facts without referring to their negative posts.                                            Not all of us will agree not to publish any report from Mobil or their agents since they will not send anything that will make us happy to this Assembly, unless God touches their hearts.                                              We also need to be informed officially through any means of communication (if this Assembly is not appropriate), that mediation and negotiations have irreversibly broken down.                                                                     Then we will know we are back to square one.  But I pray that  God will forbid it.                                                  Settling this Royalty issue will earn Comandclem more money through the court but it will take more time.                                                            If it becomes inevitable, we will have to be patient.                                               For all I know, God is and will continue to be on our side.                                                       ~OMOKEMESI

PRAISE GOD! PRAISE GOD!! PRAISE. . . .GOD!!! ALHAMDULILLAH! ALHAMDULILLAH!! ALHAMDULILLAH!!! Comandclem Patentees in this Assembly unanimously declared last week Wednesday as special day of fasting and prayer for the success of Comandclem Nigeria Limited. Immediately after we completed our prayers, we started receiving discouraging posts from non-Comandclem Patentees as if God did not answer our prayers. My dear co-patentees, look at what happened today! COMANDCLEM NIGERIA LIMITED HAS SPOKEN - through one of the Senior Managers! And the father of all "BREAKING NEWS" on this Thread so far - that Comandclem Patentees Forum would be officially launched soon! Is this not enough sign that God heard our prayers last week? Is the unprecedented post of Comandclem's Senior Manager to this Assembly not the commencement of testimonies which will continue to roll in as evidence that we serve the God that answers prayers? Now, the road is open. The "HOT LINES " are known. Comandclem Patentees Forum is in the offing. The struggle for the payment of Royalties for the benefit of Patentees, Nigerians as a whole and Africa, is going on unabaited. I commend the Management of Comandclem Nigeria Limited for authorizing one of their able and selfless Senior Managers to gladen our hearts in this Assembly at this point in time. Shame on you Satan, and all your heartless ambassadors! HOWEVER, TO GOD BE THE GLORY. ~omokemesi

TO EVERY GENUINE FMCPA Thank you for IGNORING IGNORAMUSES Please, continue to ignore them. I also want us to always bear in mind that it was because Prof Uwemedimoh/CCNL "knocked down" Mobil at the Appeal Court in December 2009 that gave us the hope of getting money from Comandclem ONE DAY! If Comandclem had lost the Appeal, every one of us would have forgotten about Comandclem and our respective investments by now. We all risked our money at the time we were registering as patentees. We should be grateful to God that there is still hope. I want you to believe that the owners of Mobil and most of their top officials are not happy that Comandclem continues to have access to fund being used to continue pursuing this case through those still registering as patentees/upgraders. They are hell bent on finding by hook or crook, all avenues of blocking Comandclem's source of fund. Unfortunately, we are indirectly helping our enemies to achieve their diabolic desire through the undue publicity that we have been given to their misleading and mischievous documents on this popular Thread. We have unknowingly helped them to advertise their false claims in these documents/text message to the whole world, including thousands of potential patentees, without including facts from Comandclem's side that would convince viewers that the document/text message contained ridiculously false claims. For instance, if Prof Uwemedimoh could be described as a 419ner, it means the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria recognized and issued Certificate of invention to a 419ner on the 5th of August,1999! Please, stop giving publicity to BAD RUBBISH on this Thread. ~OMOKEMESI

@shollay6 thank you for your post and the prayer points enumerated there.   I don't think any member could object to them. We can individually add to them as the Holy Spirit directs.                                                        It is assumed that we've chosen tomorrow (Wednesday),  as OUR SPECIAL DAY with our Creator and the Creator of Mobil Officials/Mobil Owners.                                                                  I know that Satan has certain power to control  the heart of man, I am also absolutely sure that our Almight God has SUPERLATIVE POWER  over Satan himself!                                              There is no doubt. We are winning in Jesus name.                                                         @Banjo24, I was attempting to send this post when I was alerted about your post.                                                                         Thank you for your suggestion on when to break the fast.                                                     While I do not oppose your suggestion, I will only add that those who could not cope for health and other reasons, should break at any time. Nairaland GeneralRe: Comandclem Patentees Assembly by Omokemesi(op): 8:04pm On May 16, 2011
I suggest that all those who believe in the efficacy of fasting and prayer should join us on Wednesday. We should remember to first ask for absolute forgivemess of all our sins in "words and deeds", which could block our prayers. Ulcer patients and those who are "strong " among us may be exempted from fasting but NOT from praying. If Wednesday is too close, we can ,choose Thursday. Others are free to make suggestions too. Thank you all for this spiritual advice. ~OMOKEMESI

Gentlemen, the lawyer will not die in Jesus name.  He is doing his work as a solicitor.                                                A notorious armed robber is entitled to have a solicitor, according to the law worldwide. Where he has no money to engage the service of a lawyer, one of the "friends of the court" will volunteer to appear for him.                                                     Any lawyer that is seen to have professionally run foul of the law in his practice could be reported to the Nigerian Bar Association. But mere allegation could not hold water where there are no facts to back it up.  What  laymen consider as facts may not be factual before the law.                                           I am sure that Comandclem has a capable solicitor that is up to the task of facing any legal challenges squarely.                                             God does not even want the death of a sinner. He wants sinners to repent.                                                  The lawyer will live to witness and join us in the celebration of our final victory.                                                     Don't be suprised if tomorrow, you see Comandclem and Mobil lawyers shaking hands or even winning and dining together!  That is the beauty of legal profession.                                                            Please, don't get provoked. FOR THE ATTENTION OF COMANDCLEM / MOBIL OFFICIALS AND OUR EMINENT MEDIATORS                                             Why  most Patent Infringers in other countries prefer out of court settlement?                                               It is because of HEAVY PENALTIES by the courts.                                                             But is Nigeria an exception?                                                               What Are The Penalties For Patent Infringement?                                                        Below is the information I stumbled upon.                                                      "When  a court or jury  determines that someone  infringed , the infringer can  face several penalties. The general penalty is for the  court to award damages to the patent owner,  requiring the infringer to  pay a certain amount of  money to the patent  owner.  These damages  are made up of several  components. The primary part of  financial damages which  an infringer will have to  pay is money to  compensate the inventor  for the infringer’s  wrongful use of the  patented invention. The  specific amount, which can be determined by either a  jury or the court, is  typically calculated by  figuring out what the  infringer would have had  to pay if he had legally   the invention,  which is known as a  royalty rate. Under special  circumstances, the court  can take this royalty  amount and award triple  the amount, known as       ' treble damages'. This is  done where the infringer  was found to act willfully,  knowing a patent in existence and  infringing anyway. The  reason treble damages are awarded, giving the patent owner three times what  he is entitled to, is to act  as a deterrent to  infringers. Otherwise,  someone could find out  about a patent and  infringe thinking that one  of two things happens -  they do not get caught, or  they get caught and  simply pay what they  would have paid as a  royalty anyway.                                                           In addition to the money intended to  compensate the  the infringer is also likely to be required to pay interest on the money owed as well as the patent owner's court costs (not his attorney's fees).                                                    Apart from the financial award, the court will often issue an injunction, which is am order that the infringer stop infringing the patent and never do so in the future."                                                                  I think the ball is still in Mobil's court.                                              Wishing all Comandclem / Mobil officials and our eminent patriotic Nigerian mediators, fruitful mediation/negotiation.                                                                             ~OMOKEMESI

COMANDCLEM / MOBIL ROYALTY PAYMENT PROBLEM: One "Prince" offers a solution to the royalty payment problem. Reacting to the post of "Yusuf Akure" on "InfoFeeder", the only person to have commented till date, offered a solution to the payment of Comandclem royalties by Mobil which I think is worth discussing in this Assembly. In his post on 5th May, 2011, the "Prince " suggested: " ccnl and mpnu should seat on a round table for option B plan, whether to start fresh payment, while deliberation on the accrued continues". Comrades, what are your reactions to this suggestion? Should those negotiating with Mobil consider this option as a last resort? What are the advantages and disadvantages of this option, if any? ~OMOKEMESI

I am highly delighted that this Thread has become a force to be reckoned with as far as Comandclem/Mobil issue is concerned.                                                 You can see that from Yusuf's post, Mobil has recognized the existence of this Assembly and which could be used for or against Comandclem and the Patentees.                                                  That was why I said we should tread softly softly.                                                          We can not afford to lose this Thread at this point in time.                                                 What do you think was at the back of the mind of whoever volunteered the document to Yusuf for post on this Thread?     To assist Comandclem Patentees or to make them happy?                                                          One Mr. Yusuf did not complete posting the content of this same document in his Thread before he was "banned" on an International "DEBATE POLICY FORUM" and blocked by the US MESSAGE BOARD.                                                   This ought to have sent a wrong signal to our own Yusuf to make him think twice before posting the document to this Assembly.                                                   I would not have commented on the document at all but for his last post urging patentees not to comment on the document for now.                                             I am happy that Mr Yusuf has now realized that the purpose of sending the document to him was to cause confusion.                                                        Meanwhile, I will advise  those among us who are hypertensive to go and check their BP.                                              However, it is my candid believe that Mr  Yusuf has been, and, with a little carefulness, will be very useful to this assembly.                                                               I ADMIRE HIS ZEAL AND PATRIOTISM.                                                 ~omokemesi

PRESIDENT JONATHAN WRITES MOBIL ON BEHALF OF COMANDCLEM says Pastor Abimbola Salami It has now been confirmed that President Goodluck Jonathan has written a letter to Mobil on behalf of Comandclem Nigeria Limited. Confirming this on Ogun State "Gateway Radio" live programme at Abeokuta few hours ago, was Pastor Abimbola Salami, Comandclem's Senior Manager for Ogun State. He also revealed that Mobil had replied the President but remarked that he did not know the content of the letters. Pastor Salami commended President Jonathan and many eminent Nigerians, including Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, and a traditional ruler from Ogun State, for their immense assistance towards the on-going talks. He disclosed that series of meetings had been held while another meeting had been scheduled for next week. @Yusuf Akure, while I quite appreciate your patriotism and immense contribution to this Assembly, I wish to humbly plead that you should let us thread softly softly on this Thread, bearing in mind that we are not the owners of Nairaland.                                                              Part of your recent contributions are becoming controversial and too hot for this Assembly.                                          Why not send these academic case studies for publication in The Liberation newspaper?                                                          Those who are likely to react effectively to these case studies are not likely to visit this Thread now so that these impressive researched work of yours would not be an exercise in futility.                                                I know that most patriotic Nigerians and Comandclem Patentees in particular, had been  turned to wounded lions by Mobil, but let us keep this Assembly "cool", meanwhile.                                                Negotiation/mediation still in top gear.                                              Let all of us continue to pray for the success of the on-going talks.                                            Cheers!                                                               ~OMOKEMESI

From The Latest Issue of The Liberation Newspaper Captioned: " Hope for patentees as Comandclem resumes talks with Mobil" The mediation talks between Comandclem Nigeria Limited and Mobil, which was stalled as a result of the just concluded elections, has now resumed, according to a front page report of the latest issue of "The Liberation". The report, written by Alex Otudor, the paper's Editor-In-Chief, revealed that those involved in the talks included prominent Nigerians, "a former number one citizen, respected and highly placed traditional rulers, captains of industries and top government functionaries, Mobil officials and the inventor himself, King Uwemedimoh, among others. " "Only last week, the inventor King (Prof) Uwemedimoh in company of the negotiators fashioned their presentation. Mobil according to close sources to the meeting, also made presentations and even replied to correspondences from Comandclem and the mediators", the report added. For full details of the report, buy the current issue of THE LIBERATION, now on sale. ~OMOKEMESI

@Ibog, where were you when you registered as a Comandclem Patentee? Nigeria or abroad? Did you pay the Registeration fee by cash or through bank? How did you get the Comandclem official Receipt with you? Was it by hand or by post? Could you still remember the name of the Comandclem official you patronized? The information you posted is not sufficient. You ought to know where you were registered, the date and official receipt number as well as the State Branch of Comandclem where you registered. At the moment, I am not aware of any existing website where you can verify your name. If you are not far from Lagos, I will advise you to go to Comandclem Head Office with your official receipt to confirm the authenticity of the receipt. Best wishes. ~OMOKEMESI

ATTENTION PLEASE!                                              @meson. Please, this Assembly should not be used as an Advertisement Board. Since we are not sure that this is not a SCAM, kindly find elsewhere to place your advert on Nairaland Forum.                                            If your advert turns out to be a SCAM, the owner of Nairaland Forum can block this Thread forever.  What will then be our gain and fate?                                                                        By the way, who are you? Are you a Comandclem Patentee? If yes, where did you register and what year?                                                                      WARNING                                                           I will advise Comandclem Patentees to disregard his advertisement.                                                     Or what do you say, my fellow patentees?                                           ~OMOKEMESI

Our Everlasting Father is alive.                                                               May God bless you more than your expectation.                                                             I also pray that your mum will live to witness the success of your children  and children's children  in Jesus name.                                                             ~OMOKEMESI

GODSAYES. I am very happy to read that the embarrassing post only emanated through your User Account, but NOT from you. IT IS ALL OVER. I am also happy that this issue has enabled me to hear your "sweet voice"! We will all live to rejoice and enjoy our shares from Comandclem royalties when paid by Mobil in Jesus name. I can boldly say on behalf of every FMCPA and the entire viewers that your apology has been accepted. But, always remember to log out! ~OMOKEMESI

@GODSAYES. I am disturbed.  I am disappointed. I am baffled!                                                                                What do you think you could achieve by posting this SEDITIOUS STUFF to this Assembly under the cover of a USERNAME?                                                            Do you really have the interest of this Assembly at heart?                                               Do you want the owner of Nairaland to block this Thread so that Comandclem Patentees would not have the opportunity to rub minds, interact and get latest information about our investments again?                                               Your username suggested that you are a person who believes that there is God. Are you wiser than God? Are you more powerful than God?  Can you terminate the lives of others because of money?    Do you believe in life after death?                                                                    Do you think all those working at Mobil are guilty and should be wiped out?                                          If you destroy Mobil in Nigeria, how soon would you be paid your entitlements thereafter?                                                            I have a lot to say and I have a lot to ask.                                            But it will be tragic if our fellow patentees give room for this Thread to be blocked again through  disservice posts.                                                     We have been informed on this Thread that the ELECTIONS had slowed down negotiation because those involved included politicians. The elections have just been concluded. Why can't we be patient for God's sake?                                                      But  who can SAY NO when GOD SAYS YES?                                           ~omokemesi
