The NASS is urged to urgently amend our Constitution to reflect current events in the country especially as regards criminal cases. In doing this they need to take into serious consideration the need for alibi in criminal allegations. Once an allegation is made against a person and the case investigated with an alibi established, such person must be Barned from holding public offices henceforth until the case is disposed off in a court of competent jurisdiction. A situation where persons are alleged to be thieves, embezzlers and CORRUPT with serious petitions ,some investigated and other not investigated and such persons made to hold public offices is to the less promoting and celebrating corruption. Imagine people like Amaechi alleged to have stolen 97billion naira from Rivers State treasury. Fashola alleged to have stolen more than Amaechi from Lagos state and Audu now governor aspirant in KOGI who has over 11billion naira on his neck in court all aspiring for public offices. Shamelessly being supported by some people. This is complete mockery of fight against corruption. It is insensitivity and clearly National disgrace. There is the urgent need for NASS to revisit our criminal laws that are since outdated with a view to making them suit our present realities

It is obvious that Saraki's days are limited as speaker. Appeal court has dismissed his suit against the composition of tribunal, meaning it is correctly composed and can proceed in adjudication. No doubt he will be convicted and that exposed him to impeachment. The PDP senators that suppose to shield him during the vote for or against impeachment had told him that he is on his own from the time Amaechi was confirmed minister. Therefore Lawan and his group at the Senate will win any impeachment move especially when pdp senators withdraw their support for Saraki or stage a walk out. Bye bye to Saraki speakership.

Impeachment takes a process. Alleged offences must be collated, a judge and a committee set up on these offences and must be found guilty first. Pdp walking away today does not meet the impeachment procedure, it would have an efforts in nullity.
