Deathlezz:
the only way a guy will ignore a girl and gets her attention is if the girl was into the guy but pretending all the while. If she isn’t, ignoring by the guy is just good riddance to unwanted pest.
. Very true. |

Good development. Spare not the rod. No pity for killers They kill... They should be hunted down!!! You e-mailed me but I can't access it for now. Drop your message here if it is urgent. |

Education › Re: Top 10 African Universities In Computer Science: Covenant University Ranked by omolorlarh: 11:13pm On Jan 12, 2018 |
Statsocial: Not only OAU, it includes UI(already on the list), UNN, Unilag, OAU and Covenant.
Every year when it's time to collect all the data. Each university from Harvard to Standford, MIT even to University Of Ibadan and every other Uni that are being considered would turn their Financial, Academic and admission record to Times Higher. The record would for example include all the money realised from research, and industry collaboration. Total number of staff and students. Number of international faculty and students, number of academic staff that have PhD and got it from the University.
Then Times would send 18000 surveys to the best Researchers across top notch Institutions Globally - Presumably to US, Europe and some in Asia. The researchers would be asked to pick the current best universities in their field of work e.g Prof. Melissa Franklin of Nuclear Physics, Harvard would have to pick top institutions in Nuclear Physics(Research and Teaching) she may return Harvard, Oxford, MIT and Caltech on the survey. Then it would be tallied(Nigerian Universities rank severely low here barely getting 1% score)
Then they use bibliometric/webometric tools to extract all research work ever produced by universities in consideration between the last five years and obtain Citations, Research Co-Authorship, Research Volume etc After that, they would now exclude any University in Consideration that does not have at least 1000 research work publication(indexed by SCOPUS) and minimum of 150/year in the past five years.
The Result are then interpreted and audited by Price Water Cooper House(PwC) and released-So you see why it is completely trusted by Governments because it is a very rigorous process.(over 95% of US higher Institutions don't make the top 1000 rank) I like this |

boolet: Don't look at rehab as an option, he will end up messed up. He needs to be willing to quit first, as in, realising the need to even though he is still into it. That is a first and most important step. Next he needs a girl, help him find one, whi will love him and nag him.... At first he will sneak around, slowly but gradually. Also register him in the gym, activities to take his time. Above all, PRAY. I smoked weed for 10yrs and I've been clean for 5years without no urge... mssrosa |

trolley: Does this clown even understands anything about security protocol? A security officer is beholden to the whims of their principal. His professional service exists upon the agreement of their principal. He offers protection/advice which can be accepted or declined by his principal.
Don't blame your son for lacking the foresight to restrain his excesses. God bless you |

Emmaesty: Why do I have a feeling that the staff have to meet a particular target with this recruitment.
I'm seeing different staff ID and people promoting it.
I know it sounds crazy sha but it's just the way I see it I think they give them stipends if any of the candidates that uses their codes finally makes it to the training school. So the higher the number of people that uses their code, the higher the chances of more candidates getting into training school. |

favouredAda: Gud pm nairalanders.
I'm a young lady in my early 30, married for 2years+ now... my issue is that my husband doesn't gist with me but when he is with other ladies, he can laugh & gist for Africa. He has never taken me out after our marriage. in short I look like a tenant in his house. if we are going out he will tell me to be in front while he will b far behind. if I complain, he will say I'm nagging.
I was sick last week, he just came dropped #10k for me to go see our doctor, he didn't even ask if I can go by myself BT same incident happened to his younger bro wife yesterday, with just a phone call, he went to the hospital & stood by d bro. over night ( sumtin he didn't even do wen I gave birth to our baby) I have been thinking he will change BT this days own his really worst, calling some girls in my streets "my love" why he shout my 1st name no matter where he is.
Pls advise me cos I am beginning to dislike him Very few men are like that o. You guys even go out together, the one I know can never. If he sees any member of his family outside he will ignore them but greet other people if he sees them. His family members are very beautiful not that something is wrong with them o. Advice: Live your life like he doesn't exist and keep praying for him too |
Romance › Re: At 22 I've Never Had A Girlfriend. Is This A Problem? by omolorlarh: 9:52pm On Dec 25, 2017 |
Vibesking: Throughout my teenage years I never indulged in anything that is remotely considered as youthful exuberances. No parties.. No hangouts.. No rebellion.. No fun.. No girls.
I'm what you'll consider as a pretty decent kid. Been always studious and devote. I felt those stuff were distractions and a waste of time. so I was always buried in books and church activities.
I thought being uptight and serious would make me "successful" . Unfortunately.... It appears I might have been wrong. I see my friends who practically live in orgies and revelries enjoy life and still have things work fine for them. So I guess screw seriousness!
Recently I've been having a strange feeling of emptiness. I read up some books and most suggested that lack of love/companionship can be a major reason for feelings of emptiness.
It then dawned on me that I've never asked a girl out in my entire life. I've never dated. I never thought it was a big deal and I pretty enjoy my company alone. I assumed I'll get a girl when am ready for marriage. But hey... I don't even know if I'll be alive that long (tomorrow isn't guaranteed).
I've recently been feeling very lonely .. do you think it's a problem I've never experienced relationship with a girl at my age? I'll be 23 next year.
I don't care about intimacy cus you can easily get that without dating no body.
Constructive suggestions please Nothing is wrong with you |

NextGovernor: When we were studying Agricutural Science in skool my friends always look down on us saying just to learn how to plant and rear animal. Not even knowing all those are only one course each.
Most people carry extension baf becos of these stubborn course.
Agricultural Biochemistry Agricultural Thermodynamics Agricultural Biotechnology Agricultural Microbiology Agricultural Engine Etomology Agricultural Biostat Agricultural Anatomy/Physiology Agricultural Physic And so many I cant remember.
Only those who studied Agricultural Science in school will know how stubborn these courses are.
The most useless and irrelevant one is Entrepeneural study. Teaching tailoring, baking and other stuffs theorically with pratical aplication for easy understanding. Agric biotechnology is interesting but that microbiology and biochemistry no be here at all |
